If Jane dies in Season 3

How should it happen? Do you think it should be kind of like how she is with stragglers? Like she breaks an ankle and Clem leaves her to die? Or should she show character evolution, and die in a heroic way saving someone else?

Like this. Scavenging run gone wrong. I'd imagine events will take place that'll leave Clementine without who she chose to stay with in Season 2.

  • I hope she dies like Noah from the Show. Like this:

  • I was going to choose this! Then I changed my mind. Lol Good call.

Noah's death is the most gruesome death I have ever seen a Walking Dead franchise, no one would like to die like this.

  • Killed off by the next villain

  • That would make sense as well

Like necrophilia? Or more like homophilia?

Edit: Apparently, the term I'm looking for is reverse necrophilia, LOL, WTF.

    Zombie rape.. Lol

I don't think there is a term to classify the sexual desire of a walker!? they need further study..

  • If Jane dies in S3, it will be BAD writing. She's way too smart to die.

  • But that's the way Sarah died. I don't want death scenes to get repetitive.

  • There have been several intelligent characters to die unexpectedly in fiction. She has a determinate death so make of that what you will

  • It would be the same way how Kenny dies, because both of them are dead.

  • I believe she should show character evolution BUT not, I repeat, NOT die.

I agree with a comment above, she's too smart too die and if (however unlikely) she were too, I hope it would be a decent end.

All I want is Jane die very painfully for what she did to Sarah.

No, Season 3 focusing on Kenny/Jane only is the worst idea. I want to see new characters getting screentime. Also Jane determinantly killed by Kenny is her own fault, she put herself at risk by provoking a broken man to manipulate Clem to shoot him so no, SHE IS NOT SMART.

  • The only way I could see Jane dying is to protect Clementine, like make the ultimate sacrifice and decide to give up her own life(which has been shown to be quite precious to her) for someone she loves or maybe Season 3 ends with Jane and Clementine on a Balcony together(as a possible ending) and as Clementine can't jump off, maybe Jane decides to do what she didn't do with Jaime, and that's die with Clementine? Buy yeah, Jane is allot like Michonne in that because of her survivalist nature, she is less likely to die in comparison to some other characters(entirely subjective viewpoint though).

To be honest, I hope Jane lives or at least become a double determinant and either lives or dies depending on decisions we make, same goes for Kenny, I don't want them to die just for shock factor or just cause they're determinant, I want TTG to prove everyone wrong about determinant characters and show that it's not always the case that they die regardless, I want to see at least these choices have a big impact personally.

  • And what exactly did she do to that slow little girl? In my playthrough, Clementine was the one who left her for dead.

  • I'd prefer she not die as she's a fantastic character.

  • I hope she doesn't die. Some of us chose to be with her for a reason. Same goes for those with Kenny.

I'm still holding out on Telltale making our final choices matter, seeing as they're amping Season 3 up to be so huge.

  • Despite surviving the apocalypse by herself for a couple of months, without human interaction, and not going crazy, plus figuring out a whole lot of techniques to fight off walkers and find food.

She's got to be doing something right.

  • What if they make Jane disappear after saving someone from the group in a heroic way? But not implying that she died, but rather she was just separated from the rest and can't come back.

I'd be okay with that send-off.

  • I just hope if she has to die, its realistic. I can't see her dying a stupid death when she has such good survival skills.

  • She can already be killed by a vilain (Kenny). That would be repetitive.

  • Probably the same way she convinced Clem to leave Sarah behind :3 idk I think it's clear already that Jane/Kenny are destined to die at the start of S3.

No one is safe in Kirkman´s universe. but I agree with your comment. and if TWD were an RPG, Jane would certainly be one of the highest level characters. :D

I disagree. One of the main reasons I stopped watching TWD was because some of the characters (Rick, Carl, Daryl, Michonne, ...) are protected by the writers and treated like favorites. Meanwhile, they were happy to kill all of the good ones off.

If someone deserves to be treated like a fan favorite in S3, that is Jane. She was in only 3 episodes and people still chose her over Kenny. Probably because they were sick of the writers treating him like gold.

  • Yeah, use Clem as bait. Leave her to die (I got this replica from Amanda Ripley from Alien Isolation)

  • I don't understand, why does this picture make you nervous? Like Jane would say, no need to get rude.

  • You had no reason to bring Sarah into this argument when this is about Jane. That's why. I cannot stand Sarah's fate
