I think they will kill him next episode, they havnt killed off a main cast member in ages and they are really following the comics closely r… moreight now. Dwight has to kill someone around now, However I am hoping to be surprised and its someone else instead
Yeah maybe but the actress is apparently super preggers when they were filming this, so I'm not sure they could even do this. I dont know if we will even see them again before the end.
Yep i didn't want mention it. But yes its called Something to Fear. And if that isn't enought, its confirmed to be THE adaptation Episode for issue 100 and Negans confirmed first apearence
And it also gave Andrew Lincon (Ricks actor), Lauren Cohan (Maggie's actor) and several members of the cast insomnia and many did not recover from its 'shocking scenes' for days.
He doesnt shirk his duty. He is there fighting along with everyone else when he has to. He's trying to find another way thats not just kill first because its the easiest thing to do.
As much as people (not me but others) hate Morgan right now, maybe he's not wrong
I hate morgan because nobody wants to kill people,… more no one in the group like doing it but they realise that they have to. Morgan just shirks all his and endangers the group. His philosophy sounds great but it just doesnt work
Well, yeah, considering there werent any big gunfights, Im surprised more people didnt find it boring. The character study episodes always get downgraded.
It seemed pretty clear that she is starting to struggle with how she has been doing things. They all struggle sometimes with letting the brutality overcome their humanity, and if they really want to build something with Alexandria and have a future, they cant let it. Morgan got to her, I think, but its not just him. Personally, I love these characters and I dont want to see them turn into blood thirsty monsters. I worry about that sometimes with Rick.
What happened to Carol shes ruined!!! I found the episode quite boring, compared to the past episodes that have been this season. The ending… more was the best part, but wtf did they not want to kill bad guys? they have no trouble killing innocent people that do not do anything to them and carol was ok with the kid dying, but carol has a problem with killing a group that was trying to make them suffer? 6/10.
Did Carol always have that crucifix? I wondered where she got it. She didnt strike me as being someone of faith.
As for Rick, I worry that he gets too dark. He has always been my favorite character and I want to keep liking him. Im hoping that having someone to love in his life will tone him down some. Granted, Michonne is as fierce as he is, but now he has more to lose.
I saw the episode, and I was surprised to see how Carol reacted in this episode. And I think that not only being able to live somewhat in pe… moreace inside the walls of Alexandria, as well as her limited association with Morgan has had something to do with it, which is why she clutched that crucifix as hard as she did, and stood up for her faith when that older woman made that comment "Oh you're one of those", by saying that her faith helped her get through the death of her daughter.
Carol reminds me a lot of a war veteran, who's combat experience and whatnot is catching up with them. And I have a feeling that she will get to the point where she just won't be able to kill anymore, that it will be to much for her.
She is definitely world-weary, and I think she now more than ever just wants to hang up her guns and retire from being a killer.
As far as Rick, I think Rick wants to live in peace, and that he especially wants to create a future… [view original content]

great episode. the woman that plays paula also played the creeepy little sister in the original Dune! but when Negan shows up and does whatever he does, he's gonna be fairly justified. I mean Rick and the gang took out like twenty of the saviors.

Sorry if it bothered you, i just really like commenting with other fans.
First, thank you again for using the tag.
Second, i haven't seen any others but ill look again.
I'm not disagreeing with you. Even though Abe is heavily flawed, he's still interesting to see. But then again, the show ruined Tyreese's character and gave him a dumb death in my opinion, so...

I think it was a little too obvious Tara's actress was pregnant the last episode we saw her in. I don't know if it was just me, but her face looked much fatter.

Yo there was some strong symbolism at the end there where Carol had the cross in her hands and she was bleeding. It's like she has been mentally bleeding for the group. (I'm somehow trying to relate this to Jesus dying for our sins, but I'm having trouble doing so but you get what I mean )
It was from one of the walkers that Paula and Co. killed, and when they were pulling them outside of the room, the crucifix snagged on Carol's boot. Later, when the Saviors left temporarily, she stuck it on her pocket.

Ah, okay, thanks. Yeah, I saw she picked it up but I didnt know if it fell out of her own pocket or what. It seemed kind of random that it was laying there.

What scares me is JUST how many of the saviors Rick's group has killed by now. In the comics it was two small groups I believe? And so Negan killed one person to get even with them.
But they took out a whole compound and then some, which I feel, would raise the bar for "getting even". And there's a surplus of characters who have outlived their comic counterparts, or don't exist in the comics in the first place, and that's what scares me the most.
Exactly, and the character development episodes help so that you care at all what happens to these people. Its so frustrating to me when people complain whenever there's not an action packed episode.
I thought his death was very affecting. I was sorry to see him go, though. I really liked him as a character. This gentle giant who is struggling to contain his rage. Wasnt ruined for me, but then I find the comic characters not that likable personally.

Some are saying it will be Tara to shock everyone.

She has a better development than Daryl. She is gonna be important, a good development make a good character, not the action scenes.
Let me guess - Negan shows up?
Little off-topic, but the finale is named 'Something to Fear'...
No.......someone else. Anyway you seem to be one of the few tv fans that things Negan isn't dead or a fairytail.
Thank you. Anyway Tara is believed to be his substitute by most fans.

she picked it up off the floor

Yep he's justified. But trust me the concequences are........extreme. Rick and the others have no idea what they just got into.
Jeez, your comments are all over this thread ._.
Also, mine is not the only comment to talk about Abe's death without a spoiler tag.
Is it safe to say Carol has redeemed herself?
Sorry if it bothered you, i just really like commenting with other fans.
First, thank you again for using the tag.
Second, i haven't seen any others but ill look again.
People like big shocking moments without realizing what made them big and shocking, namely, tons and tons build up.
Ummmmm possibly. She reminded me of war veterans that just want to end killing and knows its not a positive or good thing.
oh I've read all three compendiums its about to get real. glad we can agree on something.
Yep, happy times are ending.
I'll check again as well, but I'd expect them to have spoiler tags by now. Also, I was off the site for a while, so I assume InGen added the tags in.
I'm not disagreeing with you. Even though Abe is heavily flawed, he's still interesting to see. But then again, the show ruined Tyreese's character and gave him a dumb death in my opinion, so...
I hope this is true. I really do.

Oh ok. Anyway im still thankful .
There's only two ways it couldn't.
1) Tara was too pregers so they HAD to kill Abe.
2) Abe needs to die so Daryl gets the bat to surprise comic fans.
It is also entirely possible they just wanted to kill him. But the first option seems the most likely. So Abe has a 50/50 chance.

lol right? if it was a few episodes back he would've been one of the last to enter and he would have that cowardly face he used to have.

Next episode or the last episode?
Exactly, and the character development episodes help so that you care at all what happens to these people. Its so frustrating to me when people complain whenever there's not an action packed episode.
I think he gained confidence from delivering Judith safely to the church and gaining Rick and everyone's respect. He finally feels part of the group.
I thought his death was very affecting. I was sorry to see him go, though. I really liked him as a character. This gentle giant who is struggling to contain his rage. Wasnt ruined for me, but then I find the comic characters not that likable personally.
Next, Dwights is going to kill someone. Its important for the introduction.
I already hate that guy and his girlfriend for stealing Daryl's bike and crossbow.
..........Wait.........you haven't read the comics?..........
I think its still not that big a group considering how large the Saviors are.
