I'm tired to see How they keep emphasizing Daenerys' badassery. Even Martin explained that she isn't immune from fire, that was a unique event because of the birth of her dragons. For her everything seems too easy, she has dragons and this unburning power, that I repeat, is totally out of place. Let's just make Daenerys badass again even if she seems more close to the mad king than a good ruler.
Personally, the most powerful moment was the hug between Sansa and Jon, and Margaery and Loras close second. This is the real "women's strength", Sansa and Margaery encouraging their brothers to stay strong and fight for their houses, not that waste of CGI.

I haven't really seen such blind hatred around, though. The few of us who are actually expressing frustration just have a problem with her storyline and how it rarely feels like it's actually going forward. Although, there's also those who feel she's getting shoved down our throats a little, like the guy above. Not necessarily hatred, though. Her character is definitely interesting. Some of us just feel like they're not letting it reach its full potential.
Agreed.
I'm not much of a Dany fan either, but I'm soo bored of the incessant hate on her character. And Emilia Clarke.
It seems nothing she does is ever okay or justifiable.
Yeah, not that kind of fight. Just that he grabs at her or chokes her not realising that she's armed and she sticks the dagger through his e… moreye or into his neck or something, before he can do anything else. Just so that, even if it was in self-defence, she was actively taking a life rather than just allowing fire/dragons/other people to do it for her.
I hate what they did to Osha. I could've came up with something better for her. When she and Ramsey were talking I thought that Ramsey was g… moreonna take her as his new Myranda and THAT is what should've happened. Bringing back a character/actress after 2 seasons just to kill her in the next episode is shitty writing. This is my main problem with this episode. She was a true example of what a femme fetale and a strong female character is. RIP Osha..
one thing that ive seen, which made me like the scene a bit more, its from the books so SPOILERS: some book people have said that in the chapter of the House of the Undying, Dany saw or was told that she would set/see 3 fires. well numero uno was the dragon's birth, now in the show, we see this new fire. it was something like, one for life, one for death and one for love. one still hasnt happened in the books so that made me like it far more than when i saw it.

Best episode of the season!
Pros:
* Jon and Sansa reuniting. Its about time something good happened to the Starks
* Tormund eyeing … moreBrienne at the table was fucking gold! I don't think I've ever laughed that hard during an episode before
* BASTARDBOWL HYPE
* Sansa's confidence and convincing Jon to take back Winterfell
* Margaery telling Loras to stay strong
* The plan to deal with those religious zealots
* The ending scene with Daenerys!
Cons:
* Ramsay's plot armor continues to shine. Seriously, it is almost unbelievable at this point
* Osha's death at the hands of invisible psychopath aka Ramsay
I dont see how Ramsey has had plot armor apart from that one time when he fought Yara barechested.
He sure didnt have any this week. He already knew Osha's trick and was ready for her. He just let her think she had the upperhand.

I noticed scenes involving Ramsay are becoming quieter and darker every time. Compare him now to that smiley obnoxious deranged hobbit he was while making Reek. I just wonder how intimidating he'll be at Bastardbowl, with shirt on and no plot armor. Also he is not mush of a fighter (or a strategist, or a leader, etc) in books, but they'll probably show that TV glamorous cereal killa fight like fucking Arthur Dayne, I bet
I dont think their gonna fight. Her and Davos have too much honor, especially as they have others to follow. Melisandre is currently obsessing about Jon so she wont care either.
There is definitely a chance of something coming of Mel and Davos with regards to shireen. Though again he doesnt seem like the type to kill her.
Sure thing for the illiterate people who never heard of a thing called law :P
But on a serious note, she just came to them with the sword drawn so hey, it wouldn't suprise me..
I don't think Show Brienne have honor: she served several factions (Baratheon/Tully/Lannister/Stark) and the only major characters she kills/beats are weakened men. She beats the Hound simply to get Arya to fullfill her personal oath, no matter what Arya thinks. If she actually killed him it's simply murder. The same goes for Sansa in S5.
DD like to foreshadow; Renly talking about winds, Tyrion mentionning the helmet to Oberyn.. I guessed Stannis's death by Brienne as soon as she mentionned Renly and her hate toward Stan. The Shireen-thing might be one of these foreshadowing.

She has personal honor and loyalty she just doesnt really care about who rules. I feel the show isnt going to explore her naivety about good and bad anymore however, her scene with Jamie after he lost his hand was the one time I liked her that much, shes pretty dull otherwise.

I wouldn't say he's incompetent in the books. He destroyed Ser Rodrik's forces with a quarter of men while slicing his arm off in one swing. He even before tricks him into thinking he's reek to save his life on instinct. As far as fighting goes, Roose describes his style as ferocious but not skillful.

Though I wouldn't go as far as to say she's annoying, I think at this point her storyline has made her almost meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Like in my personal opinion, there is no way she will survive The Long Night, or if she does she won't rule Westeros after.
So I don't hate her but I will not waste my time getting attached to her. She honestly (to me) is starting to resemble that of the mad King more than The Prince (or Princess) that was promised In my opinion. So I understand how she will have an important role, but I already understand it won't be the one we all think it is.
She's definitely not getting it on with Jon Snow after all this
Ferocious, yes. He is so treacherous and cruel that even experienced warriors fall victims to surprise, those qualities pretty much substitute his underdeveloped (due to his unlordly upbringing) strategic and fighting skills, I thought when I read those chapters. Jon, on the other hand, is experienced with battles, but not so much with man-made shock content, I mean, even Kraster likely wouldn't stay chill with Ramsay's usual shit. Bastardbowl promises to be fun.

Surprised attack surely helped. Don't get me wrong: the idea by itself is good, but any person could have win it once since his army wasn't assembled. It only asks treachery, no tactical genius.
For the arm it doesn't mean he's skillful nor ferocious, just that he sliced an arm, caught by surprise aswell?..
Roose describes him ferocious but his fighting skills as a butcher. There's a huge difference there. Send a butcher with no experience against a trained man, and you're pretty sure you will know the result.

Khals or Osha.
I never knew how much I needed Tormund/Brienne until this episode.

I'm not even a huge Dany fan, but to me this hatewagon towards Dany is much more tiresome than anything the character has done.
I ship it. Brienne needs someone to love who will respect her and let her be herself.
RIP Osha.
I'd ship it if I didn't hate Brienne.
Agreed.

Bite your tongue.
Well sah-ree, but I still can't forgive her for what she did to the Hound.

This.
Funny.
The director said to Iwan "Here, eat an apple. It'll make you look like even more of an asshole."

I've got a bad feeling that Brienne and Davos are going to fight each other.
More like Brienne slaughtering them for "justice".
In the name of the one true king Renly Baratheon.
Sure thing for the illiterate people who never heard of a thing called law :P

I will never forgive telltale because they gave us the perfect match that will never happen
Brienne and Tyrion!!!
Are you telling me he wouldn't treat her (in every way wink wink) like a lady?
Love tormund though and he'd eat Tyrion for breakfast, so not a bad runner up
