"If I was 20 years younger, I'd be taking bullets like a man!" :joy:

  • PewDiePie.

But another one that always deliver TTG is Yogscast Hannah. One of my favorite youtubers.

  • It was PewDiePie that first introducd me to TellTale's games, when he played The Wolf Among Us and TWD S02 in 2014. I remember not really liking TWD at first, but after episode 4, I decided to check out his Let's Play of TWD S01 to see who this Lee guy was that they kept talking about, and I immediatly got hooked. After finishing that, of course tearing up at the end (a feeling I'm addicted to now, thanks Telltale!), I rewatched S02 and this time I liked it, I didn't even remember that I didn't like it the first time. So I hope he will play season 3 as well.

  • Yogcast Hannah, swingpoynt, Zackscottgames, jacksepticeye and whoever else plays Telltale's walking dead series that I'm forgetting.

I'm not too sure if Pewdiepie will play season 3 but I hope he does. If so, I'll watch him too.

  • I never got on the "I'm a regular person who uploaded my reactions to a video game to the internet and now I'm famous!" bandwagon. Seems about as relevant as Kim Kardashian's $ex tape. Sorry, not sorry.

  • The Two Best Friends. Their Kenny hatred is gold on a plate of gold.

  • Absolutely love that their is a compilation series on their relentless ripping.

I still go back every now-and-again just to catch their amazing phrases.

Kenny: "Lee had a fire in him, sure as anything."

Matt & Pat: "Yeah, not like me. I have an anti-fire, I have a water in me."

    Still fucking kills me everytime.

  • PewDiePie, because he was the one who introduced me to TWD and Telltale Games.

  • I like people who actually choose what they would do. 90% of playthroughs are literally just people picking the nice options regardless how the person feels.

  • Oh hell fucking yeah i love those two those two are legends

Absolutely love that their is a compilation series on their relentless ripping. I still go back every now-and-again just to catch

  • I can't even look at you right now

  • I watch InfernoKun too he makes a lot of interesting TellTale discussion videos. PewDiePie I do like his vids, even if his sense of humor is a bit off for me however I don't watch him very often as I used to. JackSepticEye he is cool to watch too.

  • SwingPoynt gotta love him. ZackScottGames don't do a lot of TellTale Games as of recent, like with Minecraft Story Mode.

That's well and fine, I just don't think people deserve worldwide fame for cracking a few jokes, showing some skin, doing something for shock value, etc. To each their own. I apologise if I derailed the discussion, but I stand by my opinion. The concept of YouTube "celebrities" is ridiculous.

  • Lifesimmer's playthrough is what originally introduced me to the games.

  • Ms500watts. Small youtube channel that used to play TT games.

  • Actualy the old piedewpie have some good humors in the time of the walking dead s1

  • Yeah, I watch all of them for different reasons, but they're all entertaining. For instance, I find Hannah enjoys playing them as well as talking about the game play's technicalities. Swingpoynt solely loves playing them the same way I do.

You're right with Zack, but he's starting to play the Minecraft series again. He and Ashley will always play the walking dead series together around the time they come out.

I go back forth between watching SwingPoynt and @MetallicaRules ' playthroughs. @javoris767 (InfernoKun) and TheRadBrad are good too.

I watch other YouTubers when they play different Telltale games. But these 4 guys are my favorite TWD playthroughs.

(lol sorry for the multiple edits, I'm trying to fix my post as much as possible.)

  • I'm going to get into the oddballs here since the big ones have been named already.
Lavinia has a good playthrough of both seasons and some serious Kenny love for us zealots, but is probably best avoided if you're a filthy Jane peasant.
Nuttylamb has one I'm going through right now that's good so far.
And they've probably already been mentioned but Cryaotic and Christopher Odd have good ones.

    Enjoy!

  • I understand your opinion, but for me, I think the concept of YouTube celebrities is, in a way, revolutionary.

When you think about it, YouTube isn't any different than the film reel or the radio or television. It's an idea that sparked a new medium for entertainment. YouTube celebrities aren't that much different than actors and radio stars when film and radio first reached mainstream. But the novel thing about YouTube is that it's accessible to everyone with an internet connection, enabling the average Joe to essentially be a celebrity through his own merits without the barriers put in place by Hollywood.

Does this mean there will be less regulated, less qualified people uploading videos in the attempt to be a celebrity? Of course. Does this mean people who do ridiculous things just for fame may get their undeserving 15 minutes of fame? Absolutely. But the people who are consistently successful are usually so because they fulfill a mass internet demand for the type of entertainment they provide. And to have millions of people follow you because you are consistently entertaining I think requires talent that sets them apart from the rest. For most celebrities YouTube isn't just where they crack a few jokes, it's a job, and they work at it to get better and learn to evolve in what is essentially a marketplace, and that's what I think is the fascinating thing about YouTube celebrities.

YouTube does have it's problems yeah, for one it nearly has a monopoly in this area and can do whatever the hell it wants to their content creators. It pushes videos that may not be very deserving of views to the top of the recommended lists to get more ad revenue. And there are some pretty deplorable channels that are inexplicably popular. But still, YouTube follows what I think is the most straightforward model of supply and demand, and content creators will become celebrities if they meet the demand of the market.

That's well and fine, I just don't think people deserve worldwide fame for cracking a few jokes, showing some skin, doing something for shoc

  • I like HarshlyCritical, and Two Best Friends Play. Tbfp was a little difficult for me to get into because they talk over lot of the dialogue and that is a huge pet peeve of mine, but the humor in their commentary makes up for it.

  • Cryaotic is the best of them all, he always playing his games seriously without stupid quotes or other things...

  • farfromsubtle.. they do same choices like me.

  • Yeah perhaps.
