Afraid not, although she wouldn't have had reason to. Even though Bruce felt that Vicki would be willing to help him, Alfred said it would draw too much heat and had me go as Batman instead. She was still hostile when mentioning Bruce, but did say something to the effect of "As much as I'd like to believe he's innocent, you should investigate him". Not those exact words, but close enough.
Hmm, looks like the game crossed wires in that dialogue option. The fact that another dialogue option got it right makes me hopeful that it'… mores just a glitch in that particular conversation. When you reloaded the game, did Vicki mention you giving her the name in the conversation with her?
If anyone reading this got the right dialogue option that said you didn't give Montoya's name to Vicki, can you say if she mentions it when you talk to her?

Whew. My overall feeling about events by the end:
But not in a bad way. I just...there's so MUCH to discuss
Namely, that I'll ne… morever see a bag of bagels and cream cheese the same way again. I really wanted Bruce to ask Alfred how to work a toaster.
I admit, I did not at all suspect Vicki, even though I kept her at arms length throughout my game. I guess because she was a reporter. But wow. Nicely done twist.
I was also not expecting to feel as bad as I did for Harvey. Admittedly, I wasn't a great friend in that I didn't rescue him first, and I didn't wait around to let Selina's cat let it out of the bag, so to speak. But after that scene, I kinda wished I'd saved him in Episode 2, as much as I carrot-three BatCat.
BATCAT. SO SWEET AND SEXY. I know I've said it before, but it ain't like Harvey isn't invited in my game. Even with the Other Guy dripping blood everywhere.
Haven't even gotten to Cobblepot's BS. My brain is a kid in a candy store
If you choose 'Tell me' (Bruce ends up actually saying 'Pretty please') he tells it to you.
Basically, it seems that Martha became aware of what was going on on the Arkham Asylum. She threatened telling everything. Hill felt endangered and had them both killed (Thomas too since killing Martha would mean making Thomas his enemy). That's why Joe didn't kill Bruce as well, it was simply unecessary since he wasn't aware of anything.
Thomas and Martha's Wayne killing exaplained!
Thank god they took their time to get this explained! it was one of my major "Wtf" 's … morefrom episode two. Hill ordering a hit because he had a change of heart? Yeah, sure! But seriously, I cannot appreciate this clarification enough. Thank you Telltale.
How was that explained? What did I miss? I didn't ask Oz in the end btw.
Im over here selling otu Montoya and the game tell me I didnt, also I guess the game still thinks I beat the fuck out of that guy in episode 1 according to Gordan, although in episode 2 he called me a hero and in the previously on.
Did anybody else get a dialogue option that said you sold out Montoya to Vicki in episode 2 even when you didn't? I really hope it's just a … moredialogue bug and doesn't affect the game going forward.
On that note, what do you all think will be the deal with Montoya? It seems like we have the chance to help/hurt her with our choices. Do you think it's going to be a matter of whether or not you can save her down the line?
Im over here selling otu Montoya and the game tell me I didnt, also I guess the game still thinks I beat the fuck out of that guy in episode 1 according to Gordan, although in episode 2 he called me a hero and in the previously on.
It's not too late for Bruce. He can have Lucius invent the Bat-toaster, which he can then throw bagel slices at like batarangs. Bagelrangs. Anyway, then he can technically say he knows how to use a toaster-- just a very specific one
Nope! We are a small yet mighty 10%, my friend. To me, if a friend is romantically involved with someone, that someone is automatically off-limits. I don't care if they're just in a casual relationship, I still can't do it. To make matters worse in this scenario, Harvey cared a lot more for Selina than she cared for him. That freaking hospital scene got to me, and that was just the tip of the iceberg. I felt terrible for Harvey when he saw me at Selina's, and I didn't even romance Selina! You know what? There was not one scene in this episode where I didn't feel incredibly empathetic towards the guy.
I know it's pretty much impossible at this point, but I'm still holding onto the hope that Harvey is salvageable. I just really got the waves of friendship between Harvey and Bruce, which makes Harvey's deterioration all the more tragic. Harvey is truly a good guy, and his mental illness does not define him. He's really, truly, not in control of himself half of the time. I will never give up on him! I will be there, by his side, even if it kills me! Ahhh, I'm still in denial, aren't I? Don't crush my dreams! It's just so nauseating! Every friendship I have ends with me being sent to an asylum and my friend barging into my home with heavy weaponry!
Yeah, I've had a problem like this before, in episode 2, though it's much more minor. The game couldn't remember what Bat-UI colour I chose in the beginning of episode 1. When you talked to Alfred for the first time there, it was yellow (my chosen colour), then when the next few dialogue choices came, it was blue. Once I could start investigating the alley, it showed purple, but then went back to blue once I started moving.
Though a quick restart fixed it.
'Cept it mistook my "not giving Montoya's name" choice in EP3 and said I did. (But, that probably won't have too big an effect later on, so I'm not too worried about that.
I'm on Xbox One. I did sell her out, but the game seemed to get confused. When Alfred asked whether or not she would help Bruce out, the b… moreottom dialogue option gave me the choice to say she was mad at me. When I picked it, Bruce claimed that he stonewalled her at the GCPD and didn't give her Montoya's name.
I was really upset by that. Nearly filed another support ticket. But I reloaded the game first, and this time, I picked the right dialogue option which had Bruce agreeing with Alfred, saying he needed to get the information. The game then had Bruce mention that he gave Montoya's name to Vicki and that she may be willing to help me out here.
Not sure which one the game considers correct. When Episode 2 launched, the Xbox One version was incapable of remembering you gave the evidence to Vicki. She seems to bring about a lot of glitches.
Well. That was definitely the BEST EPISODE YET. Wow. Amazing stuff. With that said, did anyone else run into this issue? I was SURE not to tell Vicky that Montoya was the shooter, and yet, when I talked to Alfred, he said that he hopes no ones finds out that I was the one who gave up Montoya's name to Vicky? Huh? Not sure why that happened. Other then that, FANTASTIC episode!!!!! Great job Nicole. Seriously. Job well done.

It seems like, with that option in particular, the responses somehow got reversed; if you didn't give her a name, the game acts like you did. If you did tell her it was Montoya, the game acts like you didn't.

Thank you Telltale! This is one of my favourite Telltale episodes so far. Over the course of the seven games I've played by you guys, you still continue to impress me.
I really love what you have done with these characters, from Bruce Wayne/Batman still fighting for Gotham, despite everyone turning their backs on him. To Havey Dent's slow descent into madness, yet still trying to do what's best for Gotham. To Oswald Copplepot, who is just trying to get revenge on what the Wayne family did to his.
I didn't feel bad for Harvey per se, I just knew he had feelings for Selina. So I thought it wouldn't have been right for Bruce to get in the middle, even if Selina doesn't feel the same way. If Harvey and Selina had been on the same page about their relationship; say they both didn't think it was serious, then I think I would have let Bruce be with Selina.
So yeah I resisted also, for Harvey's sake anyway. I just hope Bruce can get a chance to explain that nothing happened.
I'd probably say this was the best episode as well. I did have the glitches where it stated that i had given Vicki the name when i didn't and Gordon wanting to arrest me even though he had previously called me a hero. I originally didn't plan on romancing Selina and wanted to romance Vicki but once she started acting a little strange with her answers in the park i figured something was up and ended up with Selina. I've supported Harvey the whole way and chose him at the debate but that didn't stop me from romancing Selina. She obviously didn't have romantic intentions with Harvey so...
I understand how that could feel frustrating, but for that specific scene it made sense. If you saw your friend shirtless and in his underwear with someone you're seeing also sporting under-garments, what other conclusion could you draw? Harvey also wasn't in the ideal state for listening to reason, and any explanation as to why you were in her house half naked wouldn't have made too much sense either way. Or are you referring to the fact that you had to sleep over at Selina's no matter what, which led to the "reveal"? If your complaint is with that, eh, I get it more. But once you reach that scene, I feel that there is no other way for things to go down. And who knows, this decision might bring on some differences later on?
Personally, I feel that this game is handing choices wonderfully so far. There were a few decisions in other Telltale games that I felt a little dissatisfied with, but this game is handling such things wonderfully in my eyes. These games tell a story, and the choices affect the experience, not the end-game. I'm perfectly content with this.
So here we have Erin Yvette's character with a stun baton, probably making Troy Baker's character impressed by it (if he hadn't got hit with it at least), exact opposite of TFTB. The similarities between the games keep expanding.

The scene where Harvey finds out about Bruce and Selina, reminds me of the time in The Wolf Among Us, where Beast thought Bigby and Beauty was having an affair. Only this time, Bruce and Selina was really sleeping together.
Batman is getting very strangely close to Wolf's original plot, it already has some similarities where there is a type of mystery, people are against the main protagonist because who he is, friend fighting him because they think they were sleeping together, now arrested and framed like the original wolf storyline. Interesting Telltale.

Oh, gotcha. I'm sorry for misinterpreting a little. Still, I hold the same opinion. Telltale typically creates one cohesive narrative with the same or extremely similar over-arching themes regardless of player choice. I feel that Harvey being "betrayed" is one of those plot-points that is necessary to further the story that they plan on putting forth. If choices were to branch off too much, I feel that this game could very easily become muddled and therefore less satisfying. I also apologize if I came off as rude.

She said something along those lines to me too.
If anyone reading this got the right dialogue option that said you didn't give Montoya's name to Vicki, can you say if she mentions it when you talk to her?
Crap. We totally missed out on an opportunity here. @emilybuckshot @Nicole_M

Fics or it didn't happen.
Thanks!
That would've been amazing. lol

Now that you mention it, him saying he'd rather see me arrested was extremely out of place. Why are these games so buggy? What can't they fix them?
Wow, every episode is getting better than the last!
I read that in Patrick Warburton's voice lol
Your episode is a flawless 10/10.
Am I the only one who didn't sleep with Selina? The whole thing just felt wrong to me, like I felt so bad for Harvey...

the sex scene was good but we need more boobs

I forgive these small errors, mostly because this episode was so good. Still, would be very nice if they patch it someday.

Bravo, Telltale, Bravo.
I didn't either yet Telltale screwed me over with having Harvey show up anyway.
I'm not going to resist her for a third time, damn it! (If there is a third time).

Loving the discussion so far guys!
Do any of you reckon we'll get the Batman avatars before episode 4? If not, we could always make some.
I read this in the Magic Mirror's voice lmao.
Oh yeah, I really love that shot!
It's possible, but who knows? Telltale is pretty inconsistent with adding new avatars. (still waiting for Asher )

This episode made me remember this song from Fairly Odd Parents.
I was sorta pissed that not screwing Catwoman didn't matter, I pass her up and Harvey still hates me, otherwise good episode.

I get Harvey getting the wrong idea, I just wish you could've successfully hidden yourself.

You didn't come off as rude.
The closest thing we'll ever get to a sequel.
