Would Lee be ashamed of S3 Clem?
The way she kills Lingard, If Javi chooses not to, and the way she acts after she murders Eli? Yes I think he would be.
What do you guys think?

My Lee, Kenny and My Clem would certainly be ashamed by S3 Clem aka Fake Clem
I believe this is called denial
Lemme guess, ANF wasn't canon for you, right ?
It was, because I had the Wellington ending, which wasn't as butchered as the rest.
Yes
No...because context is key. As much as I disliked ANF...desperation drives good people to do questionable things...oh and fuck Eli.
Lol you have no idea
I don't think so, i think he would still be proud of her no matter what, Lee has killed people too in order to keep her safe. Lee would be proud to see how much she cares for AJ and how long she has survived.
You are acting like I said that....I did not...I just pointed out that context and desperate situations drive people to do things...and it is funny you point out an "overused" Clem has seen some shit when you use that to defend people like Kenny.
So no...I was not defending ANF..
i think Lee would be dissapointed in her because every time Lee killed someone in season 1 he had a reason:
Helping to kill Larry: He had a heart attack and they dint have any proper medicine to save him.
Andy/Danny: They were Cannibals who tried to murder the group and eat them .
The stranger: He kidnapped Clementine and tried to kill him.
The save lots Bandits: They attacked Lee s group.
while in ANF:
Eli: GIV ME BULLITS Thut Wurk BOI ´´Points gun at eli assuming that none of the bullets worked and shoots him´´.
Lingard: I WILL KILL YOU FOR INFORMATION INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR YOU TO ACTUALLY BE SOBER AND THINKING CLEARLY!
That wasn't Clem's choice. It was Lingard's.
I think if anything, he'd be incredibly proud of her. She's lived nearly half her life in this awful world now and she always comes out the other end a stronger person. She isn't perfect, she's done some things I think Lee wouldn't approve of (such as killing that Eli guy, even if it was accidental) but the fact that she's still alive is actually thanks to Lee and I know he'd be proud with how long she's survived. She is his legacy.
That depends cause it is about how was your Lee and Clem but in general, if you ended up with Jane he would be disappointed because she will be more selfish and self-adapted. But if you end up in Wellington or with Kenny, he would be proud of her because she will pay attention about the meaning of people and family which makes a lot of sense despite of the choices that people made in season 1 because Lee was kind and a protective man. He was de-facto leader of the group cause of his good intentions.
Actually I think that lingard choice is determined by weather you killed Lee or not. If you shot Lee Clem would kill Lingard if you left Lee Clem will hesitate and not kill him. But some of the other decisions she makes Lee would be disappointed.
She still kills the doc if you leave lee.
Its still the same old clem just the new world has harden her and made her cold and more of a lone wolf.
Oh maybe I’m thinking of another choice or maybe I’m just stupid and nothing determines it.
I have one question. Why do people care that Clem killed a man we don't give a shit about?
Because it was stupid and irresponsible.
And? What's the big deal?
I am thinking that one must consider the world they are in and how long they've inhabited life in that world. 4 years into the outbreak most people probably would not be the same based on their past experiences. Some things about Clem are over the top and ridiculous but not all.
The doctor- Clem has taken on this maternal role over AJ similar to how Lee had taken on the adoptive father role for Clem. If Clem was separated, kidnapped from Lee and he didn't want to be separated from her at any cost because of his love, care and protection then you might be surprised as well at what he or any good parent might do to find their kid.
Eli guy- Well Clementine also is basically an underage preteen and likely to make more selfish, uncaring reckless, or irrational choices as well than a older adult with a more leveled head would whom wouldn't keep pulling a trigger regardless if some or all the bullets are duds when angered over a crooked deal because the danger is real and Clem likely wasn't thinking straight, maybe can also be blamed on PMS the first hint of what she is going through in ep.4. I take it. Not that adults always are level headed but their brains are fully developed and thinking is far likely to be more critical than someone under 21 and rebellious.
Lee might not be proud as I doubt anyone would but given the time and crap situations I doubt anyone would be "proud" at who they've become at that point.
Because instead of taking responsibility for the mistake her first reaction is to not only lie about it but then get someone else to lie for her.
For me, that was the first time she has ever killed a person before so her reaction is completely out of character and she feels no remorse or guilt about what she's done. That is completely unacceptable.
A DOCTOR dude really ?
He would be more sad than ashamed.
Honestly, Lingard doesn't bother me. He asked to die. Assisted suicide is very complicated matter. That the person is withholding vital information just complicates it more. Personally, I see the choice by Javier or Clementine to be very grey area either way.
Eli.... well, that whole scene is stupid. Eli never once suggests the gun is jammed or maybe that bullet is bad and the rest are good. Both things you might want to point out when someone is pointing a LOADED gun at you. Especially if you know those bullets are good. In fact, he seems to act as if he did give her bad bullets. After trying to stab someone, he starts trying to make a deal like he believes he could die. Yet, he still doesn't try to suggest that his bullets in fact do work (and presumably work after shooting him since Clementine uses a pistol afterwards). He doesn't say, "Hey, let me take a look at them and see if I figure out the problem." The exact thing Clementine wants. Sure, he's an asshole, but at this point, he's presented as legitimately scared as he's trying to give Clementine a refund.
And of course, there is NO consequences beyond the immediate scene after. Conrad says, "Didn't we exile her?" at the New Frontier standoff. Tripp shrugs his shoulders. Otherwise, everything plays out as if it never happens. Conrad doesn't even bother bring it up when he's trying to convince Javier to turn her over the New Frontier. No one cares.
The scene isn't natural. It doesn't play out in any way that fits reasonable human beings (it even feels out of place for A New Frontier Clemenetine who, while brutal sometimes and does not act nearly so recklessly and Eli, as I said above, never even tries to claim the bullets work when she's pointing a loaded gun at him and pulling the trigger). It exists to give us a meaningless choice to protect Clem. It changes almost nothing and has no lasting impact (Clementine unlike Kenny from Season 1 will always be buddies with the Garcia's even if you treat her like trash and never help her) despite the fact that half of the group is going to care very much that she just came in and shot one of their people (even if he is an asshole). Actually, considering how important he had to be (he made bullets!), the Prescott citizens should have been SUPER pissed. At least the Conrad choice changes multiple scenes throughout the game.
So, for that scene, I just shrug and pretend it's not cannon. Even the game itself does the same thing once you leave for the junkyard.
EDIT: Oh. About Clem trying to hide it..... that doesn't bother me too much. We're talking about a 13 year-old girl who just accidentally killed a man knowing that she could easily die if the town decides she deserves it. I can see that as a choice if we were playing as Clementine. Yeah. It feels a little out of character for most of my Clementines, but it's also a little understandable. Especially, when it wasn't that much of a lie (Eli did attack Javier, just not the exact moment Clementine shot him). At the very least, it doesn't bother as much as the stupidity that lead up to that moment.
She still wanted to do it.
And what happens when he s sober?
He tells them he will find a reason to keepgoing and tells Clem AJ s location.
Clem is ruined.....glad Lee is dead not to see this
I'd say he'd be more embarrassed then ashamed. But hey, ashamed works as well.
If Lee came back to life and saw Clem now he would crawl back into his grave
But Lingard wanted to die, he asked for it, it was an assisted suicide and in the moment it seemed like that was the only way to know about AJ's whereabouts.
If Lee would have been in the same situation, he would've done it.
The wellington/alone ending was the only ending that made sense for the story. Basically Telltale saying thats the cannon ending
I think he'd understand. Everyone was still coming to grips with the world becoming nightmare-land during Season 1. If he lived long enough to be in S3 I think he'd get that Clem had gone through a lot, and at this point she was doing pretty well all things considered.
I mean, if Lee tried to be a badass with an attitude then no, but my Lee was kind and humane, heck, even Season 2 Clem followed in his footsteps, if anything, I'm rather ashamed at how Clementine had a set path of personality.
My biggest gripe is that he can be the first person Clementine ever kills, yet, she doesn't have any special reaction to it.
This question really depends on the type of Lee you developed not everybody had the same Lee. Much of Lee's personality was left open to the player. Many people had the soft Lee who always made the "good" choices and always said the right thing at the right time. I went a darker route for my Lee where he started as a pretty good guy trying to atone for what he did before the apocalypse but as the game went on the apocalypse messed him up a bit and he realized that sometimes it is necessary to make the hard decisions to survive and that always being the good person can be dangerous.
It annoys me how so many people view the decisions in these games as black and white "Oh this is the good choice," and "Oh this is the evil choice." "Make these choices to get the good ending."
The vast majority of the choices in these games are gray. There really isn't a right or wrong choice.
Such as whether or not to steal from the car in S1. If you steal from the car you are looking out for your group and keeping the two kids you are taking care from starving. While as if you don't you are refusing to interfere with the owner's of the car survival but are thus risking the health of yourself and your group. So in the end both choices aren't right or wrong. So my Lee wouldn't be disappointed in S3 Clem but it is certainly possible that some people's Lee would be.
Let's face it if Clementine continued to be that soft innocent little girl she was in season 1 she wouldn't be alive.
My Lee would be ashamed of this edge Lord aka Clementine. She was made to be this edgy savage. She was fine in Season 2. I just think she should calm down a little and stop being so edgy.
My Lee wouldn't have murdered someone for personal gain especially a doctor
The choice of someone who is high, we don't murder people who are intoxicated as they are not thinking clearly and if Lingard truly wants it he can do it himself
ignore
Lol damn your disregard for human life is concerning lol when a character has no care about killing people then they're evil simple as that.
Me too but if he was alive maybe she would still be good
