Awesome game folks! Managed to get it to run in CrossOver for Mac, so that's even more awesome sauce. Macbook died because of lack-o-battery, so I can't really say much about the game itself so far, but the first few screens looked fantastic! And I'm not really sure why one would be concerned about the voice acting, it was rather pleasant to listen to. *thumbs up*

Yes, as far as fan projects go it was good. The Apprentice is still one of my favorite independent adventure games though.:p
Hey, the "super quick miniproject.txt" file from the bonus years disc includes a dig at how long it takes one of Dave Gilbert's artists to make backgrounds. I resemble that remark!

Gah, when I read the chat log to make sure I wasn't too socially unacceptable before monkey showed it to everyone, that was the one remark that made me go "Ok, I sound like a big ego headed jerk there!"
Please forgive my arrogance and know that I'm envious of your awesome artwork, John! (and hey, at least you do stuff at an acceptable resolution )
@theKryz: There's something wrong with the full-game download option.
But you can download the seperated-game-with-no-speechpack-include plus the speech-pack it self. Combine them and you can start playing.:)
@hplikelike: the speech-pack download did work OK with me.
I wish the bonus disk wasn't in .rar format. Could you please upload it in another format? Please? With Cherry flavored grog on top?
On a side note, fun game. (Though is was a little hard to realize I could pick up the small mushroom). Actually, I used the cheat to win before winning the real way.
Whoops... my bad.... I saw this a while back while I've been lurking the forums. I didn't realize it'd be out today and felt I should have posted some encouragment.... That facepalm hurt me emotionally .
Well the music worked on my laptop but not my Desktop... Sounded great though. Would like to hear the music as an MP3 and not MIDI.
The song in the first room, while good, didn't really fit the scene to me. Nice blend of other theme's though. The second (after you leave the first room) was perfect and a really talented piece of work. M0ds did a great job with it. Lechuck's theme was mixed really well into it. Perfect pitch wheel on the flutes too.

You could voice a mohai head in Sam and Max!

My favourites are the IM transcript and the dancing gif.
Thanks!
Thanks,

Same here. I keep getting
The connection has timed out
The server at download632.mediafire.com is taking too long to respond.
EDIT: it does work when I download the speech separately.
EDIT2: Except the speech folder was empty, and I'm trying to download it again.
He wasn't happy...

Hi Ben
You can't download these 2?:
download the game with no speech pack

I don't understand your last one, unless you mean using hook on ham.
Also, did you try, after the cheat,
No, but I have now.... He's got a lot to say....
It has been released... today...
How long did it take you to beat it?
hmm... about 3-4 minutes...
Thanks, the other one wasn't working for me.
That's why I put them on the Megaupload host

Great little game.
But can someone spoil me the cheaT? (cheaT with a capital T (Tm) )
It's the ultimate honour to receive as a fan-video.... A fan-game of a fan-video!
personnally, I think it might even be the way TOMI should've been... nice and oldskool!
ps: @ Deny: cheat code is extremely easy to find via google...
