Tom hasn't been on the forum for months either. It's like one of those scenarios when somebody is frozen for a period of time before they wake up to find that the world they knew before is now different in many ways. Except, in the case, the world is just a forum, the time period was only 8-or-so months, and the subject wasn't frozen, but rather busy.

Yes, I know Tom wasn't around and all, but even when he was Sean has never been an active forum member, and never an active mod. He was much more active on IRC.

Seriously Space Quest... time limits? I pay money to buy you and give you the time of day, and the first thing you present me with is an objective with a 15-minute time limit? I am not impressed, Space Quest.

Why would the developers ruin arguably the best game genre with the worst gameplay element in history?

I post it for two reasons.

    1. Maybe someone at Telltale sees it and shows it too him.
    2. It makes me feel better to think I am helping find a solution.

Also, so it's not early 2010 anymore?

Now what is going on here?

Okay, so, in As The World Turns, apparently Jack turns from a family guy to a complete dickwad.

Man, Jack really is suck a dickwad. What happened to the man who always was responsible and caring and responsible and stuff?

Speaking of Stitch: At the beginning of Lilo And Stitch Lilo is seen feeding Pudge the fish a peanut butter sandwich because he "controls the weather". One thinks this is just a device to show how weird Lilo is, until you find out that her parents were killed in a car crash when they drove in the rain, and realize that Lilo is attempting to appease the hungry god that killed her parents so nothing like that ever happens to anyone else she loves.

I just thought I'd leave this here.

I have seen this movie just under a bajillion times. I never made that connection. It's a bit more creepy than anything else honestly...

I read that on TV Tropes before. It was either on the Fridge Brilliance or Fridge Horror page.

I just had an epic duel.

This is me, level 4, only having played like 8 or 9 duels against a guy twice my level who has played over 60 duels.

It lasted for about an hour and a half!

Early on I lost a nibble of health, then a chunk, then a BIG CHUNK!.
I was eventually down to only 400 health! But I never gave up.

We eventually got down to a few cards in each hand, but everytime one of us attacked, the other would counter.

I managed to make a massive comback, and drag him down to like 500 lifepoints.
Then I run out of monsters and/or counters, and he killed me with a 1600 attack monster.

That duel could have gone either way, and I bet its one he's not going to forget for a while... XD

    Yu-Gi-Oh Online of course! XD
(I decided to go with Yu-Gi-Oh, as Magic makes you change your cards to the new ones for tournaments (whereas Yu-Gi-Oh has a Limited/Banned list), and I don't think pokemon has an online PC version of its card game)

I wonder how many people would be interested in using a time machine, if the person who enters the time machine also would age acccording to the time he's moving forward. So a jump 20 years into the future makes you also 20 years older. I suspect jumping backward is more attractive this way.

Man, if I didn't have the cool runnings, I would have made spaghetti. Unfortunately, if I'm correct, fat makes the chocolate rivers flood.

So you'd still age the way you normally would? I see nothing wrong with that.

That makes it impossible to travel outside of your actual lifetime (actually, correction, your life expectancy. Someone who would die at age 20 in a car crash can most likely still travel to being age, say, 80, if their body could have lived that long. I also assume you simply age and don't develop diseases), and it also means you'd be your own identical double (can't even appear to your kid self as an adult they won't remember by the time they reach that age, or something).

I think it would limit the amount of things you could do. It would probably simply be a curiosity thing or a nostalgia thing (I wonder how this is in the future! I can't remember what she said that day, I should go there and check! I miss this store/this person, I'll go back and spend time there).

Could be very useful for trials, I would say. You'd be able to check what happened pretty easily. But then the problem becomes, should you try to stop it or not?
  • edited January 2011
Yes but contrary to your normal life it happens *snip* immediately so without a chance that you could life those years.

Fell asleep for a bit of my regular D&D campaign tonight. Felt bad about it, but given how stressful today has been, I'm not really as upset as I normally would be. Plus I woke up to find my party failing at killing a gelatinous cube which was funny.

I hope you're excited for Nintendogs + Cats, because unless by a miracle they release Zelda here before Japan, that's about it.

    You wanna destroy my fun.
    And you know what?
I did like Nintendogs, so I would get Nintendogs + Cats, if it was quite literally the ONLY option I have.

The Secret of Nimh 2? Greatest day? Really?

I get to see the Critic tear apart and probably take a dump on my least favorite movie of all time. I have waited for this day for a year.

Oh, well, in that case, it probably should be epic then.
