Woke up today to my flatmate playing her harp, a good way to wake up when you're sick.

    Pretty cool video, though.

Wow. more People took the challenge than I thought.

If you listened to that song without feeling any sort of urge to move, then you MUST be some kinda robot.

Honestly, I didn't like it. Admittedly, I just don't like OK Go. Their music bores me, but I love their videos.

I've got to stop using my right shift key. It's slightly broken.

Who's worried for me? To worry for some one is to be in denial. That person is the way they are to begin with.

For example, say I am self acclaimed insane.

Ok, then. I'm in denial that I'm imperfect, human, and I'm labeling myself so that I fit into the social architecture, constructs to relate to others and perhaps go into the process of others helping me. BUT I'm convinced I'm insane.

Truth is that I'm messed up, or have problems like every one else in this case, but I'm not TRULY willing to admit that. That's why they say the first step to solving such problems is admitting you have a problem.

Truth is that I'm in denial that this is who I am as a person, I desire for more, I fantasize about being more, a better person. I'm human, the world is incomplete, imperfect. This is the real me, I have to deal with that and admit there is a problem, but THAT IS NOT the same thing as admitting to a label now is it?

Slipping behind labels is not the same thing as coming face to face with the ugly truth, that is by far a obvious statement and in this context this sentence may make sense to you...

Now, people are worried for me? For me to accept this, owe up to this, I'd only begin to romanticize, search out for non related issues, out side issues of myself. People can learn to know me better, judge me as they do, as they are human. But this petty worry only leads to the superficiality of identity crises, professional help, others personal gain.

You don't face a problem standing backwards.

People are ignorant to worry for me, they only go off of what's socially norm, or superficial.

Seriously, these posts are a bit too long for a forum post, a first post in a thread maybe, but you keep posting endless posts of these sorts and it's a bit of a chore to read through them

This is on my mind: Why do so many people soley study psycology at university, but have no intention of becoming a physcologist?

Because Psychology is fascinating just to read and learn about with no intention of ever using it. Like History is interesting to learn but you might never use it in your work.

I do Psychology of consumer behaviour.
And that applies psychological principles to the context of consumer's purchasing products.
Its interesting AND useful! >: D

I can't stop listening to Tom Waits. His music has gone unnoticed by me for far too long, and now I'm finally diving into his work.

I'm completely overwhelmed by what I'm hearing, so I'll let the music speak for itself:

    Lonely
    God's Away on Business
    Walk Away

    Damn...

Gah! Why is Snes stuff so expensive here in the UK?

Its kind of funny to see a lot of good Mega Drive games for cheap.
(I picked up Sonic and Sonic 2 for a £1 each with boxes!)

But Snes games average at about 2-3 times the price!

I guess its due to the popularity of the console... :/
(Certainly couldn't collect Snes games for a habit!)

EDIT: I find it very wierd that I have a very specific list of Snes games I want.

    -Donkey Kong Country
    -F-Zero
    -Stunt Race FX
    -Super Smash TV
    -Super Mario Kart

I recon they must have been the best of the Snes games I originally had as a kid.

I am happy with the Snes games I've managed to get tonight though.

    Starwing (aka Starfox)
    Street Fighter 2
    Street Fighter 2 Turbo
    Super Street Fighter 2
    Ghoul Patrol
    B.O.B
    Flashback
    Pilotwings
    Super Mario Allstars
    Super Game Boy Cart
Nigel Mansell World Championship (bundled in unfortunately)
    Krustys Funhouse (bundled in... :/)

Yep. Should last me quite a while! :D

For the first time ever I get an actual beta key for a game I signed up for, but the key only lasted a weekend.
And this last weekend I didn't have time to play the computer, just my luck I guess...

I've spent all night reading up on Haunted Majora's Mask. I'm taking a break from it...and playing Ocarina of Time: Master Quest.

Either I'm more resilient than I give myself credit for or I'm a damn idiot.

I just wrote two D&D missions. One of them features the phrase "Ship vs. Giant Manatee" the other features "Also, Giant Crabs. 5 of them." My love for giant monsters has apparently bled over to my D&D campaigns.

Also, I may or may not have spent a good chunk of yesterday genning Spinner Cay and the Narwhal into existence for the aforesaid D&D game. *hangs head in shame*

Gah. After waiting two days for a reply from Sony with regards to the blu-ray issue I have (outdated supplied software plus over protective DRM means I can't play some of my blu-rays!), and they just told me to do the exact same thing I'm having trouble with (updating my software: Nowhere seems to have any updates!). Thanks a lot. ¬_¬

I'm going to get that third gym badge, then I'm off to bed!

EDIT: Third gym completed. Only lost one of my Pokemon, and that was avoidable...

Well 3 Gyms in one day (just got my copy of Pokemon White today) isn't too bad progress.
Especially considering I've been taking my time and trying to catch every new Pokemon in each area.

I'm glad that my love of giant monsters and addiction to Monkey Island has engendered some affection from my players. I'm... embarrassingly enough in the process of finishing up generating Winslow as an NPC (finished Guybrush before I left for my campaign today and I'm still debating whether or not to gen Elaine) as I type this.
