I was going to suggest a hot air balloon, or pandora's box opening, but your(klatuu) idea sounds much better!

Air pirates. Cockerel can be there too, fighting them on a flying war castle so that you can use both Klatuu's and Coolsome's ideas as well.

XD I hadn't seen your photoshop. That's funny.

I'm the guy who watches and laughs then gets shot while trying to run away. Either that or Heavy grabs me to pull my fingers out and shoves my own arm down my throat when he's done.

Edit: I'm on the last page! Wtf? This feels weird, and temporary...

Well, then, it'll have to be this or this.

Like I said, that "fake" last page doesn't pop up until the last page has 10-15 posts on it. Which means it's the last 5-10 posts on the page that can't be directly linked to.

You know, when a thread goes on a certain length on the Superherohype Baords, the manager doesn't delete it, he just locks it and starts a [insert thread title] Part 1 [or part 2, or whatever]. I say Page 1000 for this thread should warrant such a thing.

Thank you, some of you show true balance , the way to balance in my own life. I really appreciate that. To find balance is the best thing, next to being flawed and sacred and seeking balance. In my opinion, which I don't want to assert on you, that is my balance, my point of life, so I feel at the moment. Balance, harmony. Even when things are flawed.

I don't think perfection is perfection. Chew on that a while, doodo.

Actually, I find the imperfection of things, the transience of them, to make them the beautiful things that they are. Perfection is ugly.

I'm a failed perfectionist who spends a lot of time being dissatisfied with her own work, regardless of outside approval.

    This.

Me too. The biggest and best perfectionist I know of was Sergio Leone. It's why he made so few films in his lifetime, leaving many unfinished projects.

Not perfection, thanks for sharing both you. I had a video series on the balance between the miracle of life and the human reality. And I decided balance in accepting yourself as you are flawed, but being self honest and self forgiven , self secure, self aware is as close to perfection as we can come.

But, people hurt my feelings and went nuts when I developed this into beliefs who "god" is and went on to say we were a miracle. They were upset with me because they didn't want to accept I was talking about a balance between the two pillars and they were angry at me.

But, more over, you both understand what I was getting at I think. And I would love to see that spread if it's not against the wills and self honesty and self awareness of others.

Self awareness, self honesty. I think you're all very wise, and I appreciate that you are as wise as you are. Unfortunately I can not deliver this message to people and I am thrilled and I admire you if that's ok, that you can tell me this message so easily. As I have failed to spread this to others.

You have my respect, admiration, you all do, but thank you.

I don't see the point. But if you can give me a good reason, I'll do it.

This thread has helped bring me close to everyone here. This is a really nice group of people. And the only place I've never been permit banned from. It's hard to live in my own self conception, and that's my own standard, my own thing I got going on, trying to balance myself between the miracle and the vessel, but I got to say this place means a lot to me, and I feel it could mean a lot to humanity over all if you'd buy that.
  • edited August 2011
XD! not because of me, I didn't mean that. I'm not being that ignorant. XD! No, I meant it's a good group of people, a good collection of positive energy, even when we fight here.

Could always lock this thread and start a 'Whatever's on your mind: The gritty reboot" thread. Since we're nearing a thousand pages anyway, it'd be the perfect milestone to do it at.

I'm starting to get the taste for fighting games back again!

Methinks I should boot up the 360 and play some SSF4AE.

I think I'll train myself a bit with Cody this time around since I was testing him out on SFA3 on my arcade machine, and I found him to be suprisingly competent.

So far my top 5 characters are:

    -Ryu
    -Ken
    -Dan
    -Bison (Dictator)
    -Vega (Claw)

Sorry but let's get something straight here people; Cockerel is a very non-violent bird. Okay, so he once pecked Mrs. Clayton but that's only because he was high off of the fumes of Mr. Clayton's tractor washing liquid and thought she was a giant seed.

My suggestion for a foreground element for Mr. Fawful's wonderful painting would be a spaceship.

How about Cockerel high on tractor liquid flying through the sky toward a giant rainbow colored seed straight out of Arthur C. Clarke.

My God. It's full of seeds....

Not that the idea isn't great, but your color in the sky scene is lavish already. For the composition to work, you'd have to go for contrast, put some muted and darker colors in. For example, a normal-colored giant seed (yet influenced by the surrounding light) in the upper left corner, right on the line formed by the orange-yellow vs. green border.

    ...Perhaps?

I dunno. I was a nerd before I even knew what the term meant and I'll probably be one until I get hit in the head one too many times. Which is bound to happen sooner or later, what with the nature of my favorite recreational activities...

Watch my videos and show me if it's good or bad, as I admire your miracle to show me the way, it's the only true flow of life that I can embrace within the miracle I hold.

Rainbows and self honesty and butter flies lalalala, lol, but it's not a bad way to live when you can see it in different ways.
