I thought this was a stop motion or slow shutter speed or something, then I realized it's just a Photoshop.

Quick! Go make a backup character!

I haven't finished my main character yet!

Very well, then. Finish your main character, then. Then build a back-up.

Edit (and completely unrelated): CURSES, GOG SALES! YOU WILL BE THE DEATH OF MY BANK ACCOUNT!

    That is all.

Do admins have a built in editor tool for this site? They are deleting my more juvenile posts in record times.

No, I just happened to notice that one right away. Please don't scare off the newbies.

We have to do all that stuff manually. I spend like an hour each day looking at the new members and getting rid of spambots. I swear, they're like Tribbles. You get one, but it's already multiplied into five more before you get rid of it.

Sometimes I do this, but instead of new users, I look at everyone who's online whose names I don't recognize and I pick out the ones with spam signatures. There's so many, though, and most just log in and don't post anything, so it's hard to say how much good it does or if I'm wasting my time. Mostly I just wait for them to post something and then ban them.

The people on the Portal forums over on Steam think I'm married. Apparently cosplaying together with someone of the opposite geneder immediately means you and them are married. LOLWUT.

Then it means I should be married to my GLaDOS puppet. When I carry it, we are literally attached at the hip.

Maybe you should marry that thing since you love it so much. Do you want to marry it? WELL I WON'T LET YOU! How does that feel?

Gun selling first, maybe. Unless you intend to get one of those plastic ring prizes that you can win at those prize machines in grocery stores. I actually got a pretty nice ring out of one of those once...it even had a nice fake opal in it.

That sounds like it would be rather large and unwieldy. How about you just take out a bell and give it a little shake every once and awhile?

You're going to be the sick, dying Cave Johnson, right? I mean, it fits with the wheelchair and you get to do the lemon rant. Win-win!

    Courtesy of twitter.

I'm a little bit miffed at the inclusion of the Daleks, given they aren't technically robots. They're more similair to Tanks. Or fully armoured killer wheelchairs.
  • edited August 2011
At least Daleks are (as far as I can tell without watching the show) closer to robots than the Tin Man.
  • edited August 2011
Kinda hoped that someone would take on that challenge.

Ones I can name that haven't been named already:

Robot Bill & Robot Ted - Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey
    Cybermen - Doctor Who
    EVE - WALL-E
Cooker - A Grand Day Out
    Preston - A Close Shave
Smash Martian - Smash (instant mashed potato product)
One of the Fix-it things from *batteries not included
    Dot Matrix - Spaceballs
    Nono - Ulysses 31
    T-Bob - M.A.S.K.
Marvin, the Paranoid Android - Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

    Both TV & Film versions.

I think I can identify some.
I'll leave out the ones where Guru beat me to it.
    Samantha and Nick - Telebugs
Henry the Hoover (not from any TV show or film I know but a few firms I've worked for have had one)

I've looked for Alpha 5 and can't find him. Has he really changed that much since Zeo (last series I watched)? Also, I remember Weebo well. Lovely, sweet, cute-personalitied robot. She was neglected big time. Sarah didn't deserve to be the object of the doctor's affection.

Good Robot Uses - Bill and Ted
    Nono- Ulysees 31
    Noonoo- Tellytubbies
Robot Cat and mouse from Tom and Jerry (I'm actually not sure if that is right now. Then again I think there are quite a few robots used in the series over the years...)
The robots from Mystery Science Theatre 3000
Preston - Wallace and Gromit: A Close Shave
    A henry Hoover
    Tik Tok- Return to Oz
    K9 - Doctor Who
    Humping Robot - Robot Chicken
(Who is humping) - The Machine on the moon from Wallace and Gromit: A grand day out
Both Versions of the Cybermen from Doctor Who
    A droid from Star Wars
Most of the cast from Robots
    Dot Matrix - Spaceballs
    Bumblebee- Transformers
I think that weird blue one is from Ghost in the Shell...
    ED-209 - Robocop
    Clank - Ratchet and Clank
    The Rover - Planet 51
    RobotBoy

EDIT: Damn some people have beat me to a few of those...
    Oh well...

In voice only, twice. Stopped being on the show after Lost Galaxy. ALthough technically the second (more annoying) one was Alpha 6.
