I just realized that most of my favorite characters are somehow associated with the color green.

Really, it's a much larger number than I originally though it would be.

On to a really good dish here.

Okay so its sweet long peppers sliced lengthwise on one side, (with the cap cut off and re-inserted a little further in to stop stuff from oozing out of the end), then stuffed with chunks of Goat's Cheese and mushrooms. Seasoned with salt and pepper and roasted for about 25-30 mins.
To serve, slice pepper in half (through the already slit side) to turn into little side-boats, and carefully serve onto plates.

Its just one or two things away from perfection.
(You have the earthy flavour of the mushroom, with the punch of the goats cheese, softened by the sweetness of the pepper)

Maybe switiching to chestnut mushrooms or adding another flavour (maybe another cheese))

Definately went well with the Sausage and rice (with diced bell peppers and mushrooms in).

More filling maybe. (Both shrunk in the oven, so adding a bit more to overflowing might bring out those flavours a little more)

Definately a good use for reduced goats cheese I bought on a whim.
(89p! But the regular £1.70 isn't a bad price either for what you get...)

EDIT: Hmmm... maybe a little more ground pepper, or coursley-grounded peppercorns might do the trick.
EDIT 2: Maybe grilling might work nicely, though it would have to be for a fairly short time.

That sounds great except for the mushroom bit (mushrooms being the devil's butt nuggets). I miss having a properly equipped kitchen... I'd planned to make empanadas (including dough) from scratch for Cinco de Mayo. Bought all the ingredients and stuff, and only afterwards realised I should probably check that the oven works. It works all right, so long as all you want it to do is fill the place up with gas. Ugh.

I would agree with the sole exception of sautéed mushrooms. Because butter makes everything better.

Just been tweaking my PSP some more.
(Added on a battery saving plug-in (disables UMD drive when not in use, apparently saves up to 15% of battery life good for my PSP + it's battery grip! :D) and enabled hold+ in game (forgot to do it before), volume boosting plugin (psp is a bit too quiet by default))

Found the best music solution for it: SensMe

It must have been added after I stopped using my PSP before, and I've only just been told about it now, but it does exactly what I want (random shuffle with a nice UI).

Its a bit slow, but its about as good as the PSP is going to get.

Also bought a replica remote off ebay (comes with headphones, but I'm never going to use those! XD), so I can plug that into the PSP, then plug in my headphones, and be able to easily change tracks, volume ect.

(My PSP came with no accessories... -_- )

    Romans 5:3b-5
[...]we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

    James 1:2-4
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

    John 9:1-3
As [Jesus] went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him."

Yeah... gas ovens have always scared me a bit, I'd much prefer electric. I like gas for stovetop because of the instant heat control, but I've never seen a gas stovetop / electric oven combination. Guess kitchens generally aren't wired for a mix like that.

Anyway, since it hasn't killed me at any point during the past 6 months I'll probably just leave it and never bake in this apartment. :p

Actually, I hadn't heard of such a thing either, until I saw them install one for the winner of DIY Network's Worst Kitchen in America contest. That thing was sweet. All the control of a gas stove with the evenness of an electric oven.
Anyway, since it hasn't killed me in the past 6 months I'll probably just leave it and never bake in this apartment. :p

    But...that's incredibly sad...

God, I hope not. I think the hotel would be pretty pissed off if we did.

What's the point of living in an apartment if you don't complain to the landlord that the appliances won't work?

There will be plenty of time for that someday when you own the place.

So I had a brainwave today and came up with another video game idea.

I might actually go for this one this time. (sounds fairly easy to design/make compared to my other ideas!)

So imagine a game that combined Classic Legend of Zelda/top down RPG, Visual Novels and Elite beat Agents styled goofiness.

That would be this game I am thinking of! :D

So you, the player, play as an embodiment of cupid.
(Origin I haven't decided on. Might make the main character a guy being a rep of cupid out of family tradition, might make it a fallen angel having to do community service and finding he wants to do this instead over time. Might just make it plain Cupid)

Your job is to ensure people who "are meant for each other" to fall in love and live happily ever after.

However, its not as simple as shooting a love arrow! (Though you will be doing that quite a lot! XD)

You have to use your special powers (Such powers include: suggestion, possession, and persuation), in order to get the exact circumstances for the couple-to-be to fall in love and form a relationship.

(So thats most of the Visual novel part)

The Zelda part, is the overworld. You will be moving top-down around the town the game is based in.
You go around talking to people, solving other types of puzzles, and stealth.

You see there are elements that make your job difficult.

    1. You aren't allowed to be seen using your powers.
Its not as simple as running up to a person and charming them. People get suspicious, and suspicion gets you in trouble with the higher ups.
You have to be very careful how you act.

    2. There are demons trying to stop you. (Thats where those arrows come in handy! XD)

Demons that feed of the negative energy of people. And they have some very particular tastes as well!

They won't appreciate you trying to rob them of their meal tickets!

Now where the Elite Beat Agents/Ouendan wackiness comes in, is the circumstances.

Doing a straight romance game is boring! (Plus you're a specialist! You don't need to waste your time with regular relationships. Any fool with a love bow can handle that! XD)

One of the relationship ideas is that you would need to help a guy confess his feelings to the love of his life.
However, he is also a vampire!
Even worse, is that he's being hunted down by a crazy guy wanting to prove his mad love to the same girl.

Another one would be having to solve a puzzle to bring a man's wife back from the dead.
However the real challenge is trying to convince her to take him back! XD

Thats all I have so far. Its pretty interesting, something a bit different that makes me want to have a go at it! :D

(I might draw a map of a tunnel of love, I think I might make the player start off the game there, and for it to be the main base of his operations (I'd have some kind of "Love Machine" that would be used for a puzzle, a "Heartbreak Detector" to find the next mission to complete. Just need to have a bit of time to play around with some stuff))
