EDIT: OOH! AGDI (Himalaya Studios) says they won't do fan games anymore (ie. a KQ4 Remake) because they cost money to develop. What if AGDI used Kickstarter to fund such a project??
:D:D:D:D what a wonderful idea I just had!
EDIT AGAIN: Okay, nevermind. Apparently they can't accept donations of any kind for fan games...
Take a picture, I'm watching basketball. Though staying true to what I previously said, I'm watching the only exciting part: The last 2 minutes of a tie game.
I think the IPO will go extremelywell, but a lot of people will regret it.
It was a bit anticlimactic... I was hoping for something even crazier than the LinkedIn IPO. The underwriters were supporting the stock all day, that's why it never dipped below the initial price of $38. I'd expect it to be more interesting next week when they stop buoying it up like that.
We have a 3-day next weekend. I really want to go away somewhere (preferably beachy), but I also want to save money. Laziness means the latter is currently the clear winner.

I had a three day weekend once and then...I didn't know what to do with myself...with all that Time Off.
We had a fantastic night except for one slight hiccup.
I was trying to explain thematic borrowing done in modern films, like Star Wars. Essentially I was trying to explain that John Williams had likely lifted elements and small movements from "Mars, Bringer of War" by Gustav Holst to compose the Imperial March. Which is not a bad thing, many composers lift elements to put together their work. No problem as long as it's not plagiarism.
Anyway, she's processing all this, acknowledges it with a slight nod of the head, then leans in close and whispers, "Is it bad that I've never seen a Star Wars movie?"
I leaned back with a decidedly agape jaw and in mild shock retorted, "I'm not sure we can date. That's like a 500 B.C. Greek if he'd ever heard of Zeus or Hercules. This isn't even about nerd culture, Star Wars is a part of the American landscape."
Outside, after the symphony, I explained the true crime was that because of George Lucas' meddling she'd probably never see the original films in their perfection, and would have to settle for the inferior remakes.
To her credit she asked if we could start with the first one because she knew there were six, to which I calmly explained that, truly, there were only three, and even the good versions of those were relegated to VHS.
Unless you can get your hands on the 2006 Editions, which had the laserdisc transfers of the theatrical releases. Only Star Wars movies I watch are the bonus discs of those releases.
I'm going to easily be able to break even next month (don't want an overdraft if I quit uni! It would be a total nightmare to sort out), with about £100+ extra in the bank!
(I'm not that badly overdrawn. Probably about £100-200, and this overtime will cover that no problem (plus I DO get regular pay as well don't forget! XD))
Good thing, since I bought stuff recently & supported a few kickstarters!

Good stuff Retro! I'm a huge fan of good financial management. Keep it up.
Speaking of overdrafts, check out this letter my mum passed on from my UK bank:
I write to inform you that your account is overdrawn by £5.50. [...] If we do not hear from you we may close your account and take legal action to recover the amount owed.
Good luck with the international police hunt, bank. Don't let that £5.50 get away!
Yeah I've gotten stupid form letters like that. At least that one included the amount. It's worse when you have to inquire and it's some stupid amount like that.
I saw the title and believe me, I haven't closed a window that fast since Fawful sent me that creepy Korean comic (scariest comic I haven't been able to understand a word of). So... kudos.

I didn't even know what these were since I never hear their name before.
I used to be able to pick up Daddy Long Legs and kiss their mouth as a kid....now I crawl onto the ceiling if I see one...even if the ceiling is THE SKY.
Comments
I just want to play as Tuco.

Crap. and I was getting all excited about it.
Mother of God!

I would have started my answer with:
Best of luck with the job.
Coolsome has the right of it. Go to the Forum Games index and click the number of replies.

If it looks godawful, would it just be called "The Ugly"?
Nor do I. Glad I don't have to!
Admittedly, that was unhelpful.

Wait ... why?
(I know there are lots of reasons, but I want to know the present one)

That's 20,000 songs

I'd like to see them try! Ahhhahahahaha
I doubt it. It's probably a form letter they spam out whenever an account is overdrawn.

This is the stuff my nightmares are made of.

The venomous thing is a myth. May I refer you to this page (although they mix up poisonous and venomous, schoolboy error).
Also, Mythbusters covered it (warning for the squeamish: lots of spider footage).
Damn you for responding to this sooner.
