I'm listening to the previews of the Guns n' Roses Greatest Hits album on eMusic. I forgot how much I liked their music.

I honestly can't fathom how anyone thinks India will ever get within striking distance of China's rate of economic development.

    ...Dashing.

I am going to finally write my 800 page book The Do's and Don't's of bouncing a beach ball. Including 68 ways those fat cat's don't want you to know.

Your attempts to be passive-aggressive are sort of falling apart lately, aren't they?

Or maybe they're succeeding so spectacularly that you cannot withstand the sheer pressure of my brilliance, old friend.

Never done a proper steam trade before.

(I'm probably going to suck at it! XD)

    EDIT: Gave up.

Bought Sonic Generations during the Steam Holiday Sale. Just found out that it's so laggy it's unplayable on my computer.

You wouldn't get that problem with Gumboy.

I think you should play Gumboy.

Did you know, that people who don't play Gumboy are 110% more likely to die?

I hate the god damn Disney Vault.

Reddit has given me an awesome idea. It will make the radio bearable, at long last. Whenever you hear an Adele song, just visualize her singing it to a sandwich.

Me missing one episode of Sam and Max. Individual episodes used to cost 9 dollars. They not longer sell individual episodes. Today in steam, season 2 was 8 bucks. Slightly less that the old cost for individuals.

    Mission Accomplished.

Considering that everyone dies as some point, I'm not sure how this statement works.

They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.

I suppose that does make more than less than less than more sense now.

Reddit: that stupid place that fancied themselves some sort of internet detective agency over some stupid piece of viral marketing and mobbed innocent people loudly and in crowds because they thought it was going to teach them some sort of top secret shit: aka idiots.

Reddit: that stupid place where a single member just has to post accusations against Telltale without any proof whatsoever, and immediately an angry mob of almost a hundred people threatens ex-employees within the reddit community with death and rape via telephone on her birthday!

And with a bit of effort, some Adele songs are quite bearable:

Forgot about that. What a shitty place. Not surprised Pants would go there, though.

I'll go on a limb and say that reddit is probably quite a nice community! But let's not forget that swarm intelligence is an oxymoron.

I had a self-loathing attack at work that was so bad that I almost cried!

Manage to barely keep my composure and finish my shift.

Funny thing is, I feel better now.
I think I promised myself that on Monday, I would go out and do something new.
Maybe go to the library or something.

I would also like to take the time to apologise for my constant dumping of my crap on here.
I feel selfish posting about all my "worries", when others have to deal with much worse things, or kill a nice buzz going around.

I feel even more selfish, for bottling all these emotions up. Its obviously getting to me moreso than usual.
Then again, I don't exactly have anyone to share these kind of worries with.
I tried my mum, several times, but I guess she doesn't really understand how I feel. I don't think many people could really.

EDIT: Also something funny happened at work.

One of the women I served was so pretty, I almost literally swooned! XD
(I didn't think it was possible for men to swoon. (especially one as cool headed as me! XD))

Oh my god. Pet Shop Boys + Adole = Win.

° Adole - Rolling In The Deep
° Pet Shop Boys - Did You See Me Coming
    ° Guetta/Rihanna - Who's That Chick
° Bloodhound Gang - The Bad Touch
° Huey Lewis - The Power Of Love

All th other songs were needed to make Rolling In THe Deep bearable. Sounds about right.
  • edited July 2012
I actually like Adele. I absolutely love her voice.

To be honest, the only other artists in that thing I even began to like were Huey Lewis and Bloodhound Gang, because they're just awesome.

I forgot that Reddit and Telltale have a... history. It's kind of funny that the forums have a Digg button instead of a Reddit button though. You know, because people still use Digg.

Also, Adele is only bearable when she's singing to her sandwiches. I honestly can't stand her music.

You realize that there's a Digg button rather than a Reddit button not due to some anti-Reddit bias, but because the forum is a decaying gargantuan husk of code that hasn't changed in nearly half a decade, right?

This is true of the larger "communities"(r/gaming, r/atheism, r/politics, r/funny) that don't have strong moderation policies. The site can STILL be useful as an aggregator, though, you just have to set yourself up for good subreddits.

r/gamingnews, r/indiegaming, and r/science are examples of really good subreddits.

    ^ This really.

I like to laugh at the stupidity of r/gaming though.
(Generally funnier than r/funny ironically enough! XD)

I like how I got a -9 for this post:
    Here here!

Also, if a guy had said something like that, I probably would have posted it somewhere.

(It like when people have Mario ringtones but never played any games at all. Sure it has mass appeal, but its kind of ironic and mocking. Its like if I had a message tone that went "TOUCHDOWN!" or something... ¬_¬)

Man. Now I'm all steamed up over these posers. (Its like when my older brother, a non-gamer CODfag, blindly claims the PS3 to be better than the 360, which may be the case as is, but he didn't really intellectually justify it. The douche... >:/)

The woman in question was getting a Mario tattoo and didn't know what a Snes was. -_-
