Shame, as it sounds like the sort of strategy title I'd actually enjoy to play.
EDIT: So I decided to have another walk today.
I went to the usual path, but something interesting happened.
The path was flooded.
Enough to put me off walking down either path, and I had to then, replan a route.
So I decided I would walk to town.
On the way there, I took one of the longest ways to walk there. About 45 minutes of walking (+15 mins of walking at the route).
When I was uptown I went into the shopping centre part, on the way to the library (I thought I'd spend a little time in there since hey, I'm up town, why not?).
At the library, I didn't interact with anyone, but I did look for some books to try out.
So after a while of browsing, I went to the science fiction and fantasy section, and I picked up two books that looked interesting.
The first one was called Light. Seemed quite quirky, and the opening chapter was fairly interesting. Didn't read much of it though, but I will get back to it later.
The second book, was Metro 2033. I have the game, never played it, but I DO remember it was based on a book, so I thought I'd have a quick read of that. And yeah, its very interesting.
So I gave myself an hour of reading, and I went to take them out. Apparently I owed them like 89p from 2009, which sounds pretty silly, since I don't even remember what I even took out, and the system was down so they couldn't check. I'll sort that out the next time I am there.
Anyway, I went to take some money out, (I took out £20), and I headed back to the shopping centre.
Why did I need the money? I saw something interesting there. Something new.
A comic shop.
I walked past it and had a quick look earlier (didn't speak to anyone since I was a bit shocked and as you guys know, I'm shy.), and decided to come back on my way back.
So armed with some dosh I came back in, browsed some comics, and found some Marvel Zombies comics I hadn't read.
I asked the owner if he had any more, but he only had the original run. I had a nice chat with them about the series, and the shop itself.
I noticed they play Magic there, and I wish I had asked if they do events (I assume they do).
I'm actually thinking about picking Magic up.
I prefer Yu-Gi-Oh, but thats a bit dead now. But I could get into 2013 magic. And it might be a good gateway activity at conventions and meetups, so maybe I should get a starter deck, play some Planeswalker some more, and go for it.
(Going to double post because my edits are becoming a little too big for me to even properly read! XD)
So I read those comics I bought.
The Marvel Zombies one.... Its.. okay.
I mean, not much happened in it, I only know Howard the Duck from the line-up, I like the idea of Nazi zombies, especially Super-powered Nazi zombies, but it was a little dry.
If the shop has a second issue next time I visit, I might pick it up and give it another chance (its a 1 of 5 series,), but if that one is not good, then I might abandon Marvel Zombies altogether
(Though that original run they offered me is starting to sound tempting.. (I just love the artwork of the covers))
The other one Adventure Time #6 was actually pretty great.
Looks and acts like the show. Made me chuckle a little. Was suprisingly meaty.
I like how comics like those are self-contained, (I don't like long runs as I don't really read comics).
I actually want another Adventure Time issue, and if they have a good one there next time I'm going to pick it up for sure!
(I think they would be great to read by themselves, but also as a series runthrough as well)
I've put the comics back into their sleaves and I plan to put them back up into my room.
I should get a book rack or something in there. Would be nice to pick up a book or comic, read it in bed, then put it back.
Next time I should ask them if they have any Deadpool. I got some deadpool comics I bought from a charity shop in my room, and I liked those. I definately would pick up a couple of issues if they have them.
(I would especially like the Cable and Deadpool ones, since I'm always hearing how good those ones are!)
Grr, I'm surrounded by assholes! Double grr! They think that they're so clever and yet I've never seen such braindead fools. Seriously, don't even dare to look within my eyes, I'm too good for you.
Grr, I'm angry. I'm so angry that I'm mega-grr! I don't think that there's such a thing as "mega-grr" but if there is, I'm experiencing it. Seriously, I'm like; grr x2. Ggrrrr! I am certainly annoyed, to say the least. Grr!
Looks like official drivers 12.6 and 12.7 beta do not work with my laptop.
I have AMD switchable graphics cards, but its AMD 5000m series and AMD 4000m series, which AMD have conveniently split up into the regular and legacy drivers.
So the new installers do not work. That suuuuuuuuucks.
Looks like I'll have to keep my eyes and ears open for modified drivers.
(I don't like where this is going, but I don't want to be stuck on 12.4 forever. That would suck)
Comments
I still like him though.
Curses! You've foiled my nefarious plans to continually promote a subpar movie.
Psst... the cheque is in the mail.
So, anyway, how is your sex life?
Corrected.
50 shades of grey.
No probs. Most of us are Monkey Island spambots anyway.
Not me. I'm a proud Strong Bad spambot.
Do not want its DRM.

Ooh Batman!
I can't wait for the Nolan trilogy to be out on Blu Ray.
Then I can watch them all, marathon style!
EDIT: Also why do we not have real life medabots.
Because Medabots are fucking. AWESOMEEE!!!!! HELL YEAH!!

Oh, tobacco. It went wether I did go.
Oh, tobacco. Oh, tobacco. Where did you go?

How the bleeding HELL did we go from that masterwork of written science fiction to the ass-hemorrhoid that is Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Hmm, yeah. It was either there or down the back of the sofa. Georgia's more likely to be honest.
Hey, I love Megan's C**ks... though I prefer her C**t; not as much as I adore her C**rr*i**y, though. That s**t is f****al**.
Shia LaBeouf I don't mind so much. Michael Bay's screenwriting, on the other hand...
Speaking of movie quality, I find it incredibly odd how the same person who gave us "This Is Spinal Tap" also gave us "North".
Michael Bay performed vigorous fellatio upon a manatee. True story.
Careful. You'll give Comrade Pants a heart attack.
Pfft... you're an intermission. You fucking intermission, you. Um, yeah!

... I could dance to that all night.
EDIT: Also, if I were a good man, I'd sing this song all night...

My favourite in the series.
