While you're all sitting on pins and needles (btw, STOP DOING THAT - you could get an infection or something), here's a last piece of teaser art...

Yes! I've been waiting for this since that episode from the cartoon!

Actually no, I haven't. But it amuses me nonetheless.

    But wait, what's this?
I meant to put THIS one up... it's a wee bit spoilericious, so keep it under your hats for the next 24 hours, m'kay?

... Aaagghdammit. It's not enough there's an off chance the .jpg's name is meant to be misleading. This is gonna bug the living hell out of me for the next 24-ish hours. In a good way, mind. But still. *shoos away the possible implications assailing her since she's still at work and has to get something done*

On a less hyperbolic, ensnared-by-the-hype-machine note: let's not forget about Sam & Max vs. The Uglions, if'n we're fixing on mentioning at least one other parody . :O)

I think the arm belongs to the same person as the one in the previous piece of concept art

    Statue of Liberty parody?

Planet of the Apes comes to mind, but since they already know
    they're on the earth here
... I HAVE NO BLOODY IDEA!

THE GEEK MADE THE SAM CLONES D: D: D:

...That's not it? Fine, I'll take my capslock elsewhere.

Voodoo Lady cameo appearance? Or demonic Statue Toy?

The awful truth is gold btw.

Why The Geek? Why do so many people think Telltale would bring back such a fail of a character?

Cause people actually like that annoying little crap. I personally think she should have been shot in "The Final Episode", but unfortunately it was a children's show.

Why do you think I used the D: emoticon?

Actually, I don't particularly like or dislike the Geek, she just said the same thing as the image filename.
  • edited July 2010
    whats the filename?

Darn You All To Heck.JPG (84.6 KB, 72 views)

I think that's what she says. It's something similar to that.

Actually, I have no idea why it's like that. Must be early concept art, because in the game the flame is...

Well, why don't you just wait and find out ;)

Maybe the unknown villian is the secret great, great, great, great, great granddaughter of Morgan Leflay and Guybrush Threepwood!

You never know; it could be a VERY big yard.

Nevertheless, all of us will find something to preoccupy ourselves until the episode is released. I always try to play the previous game or games to get me back in the swing of things.

Yeah... well, I have other stuff too.

    in no order....

    Jailbreak brother's ipod
Put CDs on iTunes for tech-challenged mom
Help brother beat lego harry potter
    Take out the trash

That should knock off an hour or two... but then what?
I dunno... I guess I'll fool around with my TTG DVDs, watch the commentaries and stuff.

@The Highway - the TMI DE one?

I don't think 5 hours - Telltale should be starting up in about an hour and hopefully well see it 2 or 3 hours after that maybe sooner.

I couldn't even get past the first sequence. :( I did every pixel hunting...

It must be something about toast machine, but I can't find it. :(

    Edit: Nvm. Found out.

When I see the dispenser, I couldn't resist laughing out loud.

Pixel hunting isn't necessarily where it's that, now that you have those cool psychic powers.

Okay Mike, I gotta ask. What lame gag did you get to put into this game that you were so excited about?

Oh, and that bit about 'Papierwaite's hairless and ladylike torso' made me laugh so hard, absolute brilliance.
  • edited July 2010
I'll second that. My curiosity is peaked.

(And don't think the reference to pastry golems made it past me, Mike "Occasionally Places Hints to Gags in his Middle Initial Quotation Marks" Stemmle! BRILLIANT!)
  • edited July 2010
Yeah, what was the lame gag you were referring to?

    Hey Mike,

I have one major important question.
Will the guy being squashed between two buildings FINALLY be in this episode?
You guys have been keeping me waiting since the pre-order of the Devils Playhouse!
    Gman5852 wrote: »
    What do you mean.

Waaaaay back when the Devils Playhouse was only available as a pre-order I asked Chuck if there would be a guy being squashed between two buildings in this season. His answer was that since I mentioned it, now there had to be.
So I've been waiting patiently for that to happen, but since there's only two episodes left, I'm getting kinda worried...
