    I'm not sure if this is correct, but I've heard there is a scene or two in the movies where the flux capacitor fluxes the wrong way.

    You are correct sir. When Marty shows 1955 Doc the Flux Capacitor for the first time, it fluxes the "wrong" way.

    As for the comment about Doc saying "You've come to my rescue in the past. Or was it the Future?" That's actually very good paying attention to the series, there are several points where they can't keep the tenses straight. Time travel does that to you. lol

    I finally found something I don't like since TellTale announced BTTF: The Game. :D Not that I was looking for something to rant about, no no no... It seemed too perfect for me :p Okay, kidding... but I do have this question:

    I find Marty's forehead to be a bit too tall/large... does anyone else think this? I know they're caricatures, but still...a weeeee bit too tall.

    Great SCOTT, that was a good trailer! Hope the PS3 version comes out soon! I'll DEFINITELY be downloading it from PSN!

    Yup, there definately is something wrong with the lightning.

    It's less a realistic vs. cartoony graphics discussion. There are tons of games with a awesome cartoony style, also adventures. For me it's more about the rather ugly try in between and the almost complete lack of good animations/textures/colours in the video, i didn't even get to the point to care about the out of sync lip-sync.

    The gameplay/storyline certainly is more important but a) we don't know if it will be convincing yet (it only has been written that they'll try to target a larger audience, which normally isn't a good sign for adventure gamers but maybe things will turn out just fine) and b) that if the gfx don't count this much (which for many people isn't true) then why not doing something more basic which works as well and where such bad animations are less obvious due to the higher degree of abstraction?!

    Compared to Sam&Max S3 or Puzzle Agent this looks like quite some steps back. I don't really want to compare it with other good looking games, no matter if they are from the realistic or cartoony corner. This is one of the worst game videos i've seen since quite some time.

    And those games you are talking about, do they price like telltales games or are you comparing a Telltale game to a 49.99$ or even 59.99$ game ?. Just curious.

    Cool, bugfixes on gametrailers. I'm waiting for betalists for gametrailers and further hotfixes/revisions now, any history files?

    Btw will the iPad version of BTTF be built on a more capable version of the engine or will it stutter like Sam&Max S3 did with only showing up one episode without any updates?

    http://itunes.apple.com/de/app/sam-max-episode-1-the-penal/id364177936?mt=8

    Maybe the character design looks more awesome if you see it in a relative context. Oh, well...

    They range from usual low iPhone prices, over indie price range (dunno $10-$20) up to full blown AAA segment.

    I don't think that's the case because
    when you see Doc in his prison cell, he's wearing a wedding ring, which means it'd have to be sometime after he got married to Clara.

    Excellent catch! I hadn't noticed that before. Great job on that! I gotta admit, I'm slightly disappointed by this news though. That would have been awesomely 4th dimensional if it was, in fact, the same Delorean from a different time trip.
    Doc's an old man... so's Christopher Lloyd. In fact, we must presume that the actor's voice right now is more fitting the character than it was in the movies! ;)

    I completely agree with that, which is why it doesn't bother me. Like you said, it's more fitting now.
    Seconded. He walks like an ape, sorry.

    Thats a better explanation. :)

    Honestly, I was afraid that Lloyd wouldn't be able to pull off Doc again until the trailer. He sounded perfect.

    Thanks very much. I can see why he'd do it though, the ads are ridiculous, IMO anyways.

    I actually did it because the GT website is so buggy I couldn't watch the whole thing there, so I downloaded it and put it on youtube cos I thought others would be in the same position.
    Now we can go back and forth between parts of the vids without having to wait half an hour for it to decide whether or not it's going to load!

    Am I the only person who thinks Marty's walk is great?! Yeah, when he's walking to the DeLorean he looks like he's on the moon, but the actual gameplay walk-cycle's got such a kick to each step; really looks like Marty.

    Ah, well, I still like that there's no ads there anyways, but your right, YouTube works better, and it seems to load faster.

    @Silverwolfpet

    I don't think his forehead looks to wide. It contributes to the cartoon style. Also It's covered by nice set of hair. Only picture his forehead was very apparent is the one with the guitar.

    His walk however is a bit sluggish, but I wouldn't go as to far as to say it's apish. The walk isn't really something that bothers me. Especially not in the bubble vest clothes. It's more camouflaged.

    marty could literally walk around like a velociraptor and i wouldn't care.... im just excited we are less than a month away from playing this!

    Because, you know... nazi*Dinosaurs.

    Probably Marty, he had half a year to do it.

    I've read some complaints about the lip sync and animation, but personally that didn't bother me. I see the lip-syncing has improved today. Gamers today are definitely pickier than they used to be. On the one hand, I get it, that the bar has been raised extremely high, but on the other, it's just a game and if the mouth doesn't match the voice exactly it really doesn't pull me out of the experience.

    @Shadowknight,

    Yeah, I was thinking of that. It would seem pretty logical. He probably visits Doc's lab daily. Probably to take care of Einstein mostly.
    He would've wanted to fix the speaker to do some rock and rolling.

    @Moxxi

    Luckily most of those complaints were directed at the pre-fix trailer.
    I have seen everybody be happy though with the new trailer.

    There are still some issues with the lipsync, just not as evident, but when George says the word "son" and I see his mouth, it distracts me from the awesome stuff and "scares away" the mood the video was presenting :(.

    The lipsync comments are still showing up on the fixed TTG Youtube account trailer.

    Anyone know where I can find the updated trailer?

    EDIT: I am a moron. Sorry.

    He wouldn't have been taking care of Einstein. Doc picked him up prior to seeing Marty and Jennifer at the end of Back to the Future 3. Marty probably checked back on and off again as habit, though probably would've wanted plenty of practice on the amp.

    I was the same, I was on youtube and google for ages with "BTTF game trailer" and all sorts of variants and I couldn't find anything, then the game trailers link magically appeared out of nowhere.

    The amp wouldn't necessarily have broken in the new timeline. Hope it's dealt with in the game either way.

    I was thinking the same thing. The the "4th dimensionally" way it'll probably be handled.

    Another question about the gameplay footage we saw: Why is Einstein walking around with Marty in 1986? Didn't Doc take him with him on the time train at the end of part III? It seems to be implied that Marty is now taking care of Einstein. So, when/how did Einstein come back? :confused:

    Just thought I'd suggest that this dialogue tree is now surely a part of the trailer conversation between Marty and George in Doc's lab.

    With this assumption in mind, I like that George might assume the Doc had died given his extended absence.
