Ah, rental store would make sense. I've gotten weird versions of things that are rental store copies, including DVDs that were only available from rental stores and not for purchase.
It works fine and looks and plays great. Apparently it's a used rental store copy, but I got it at Hastings.

With the short hair and the beard, he sort of looks more like Kurt than he looks like himself. For all our sakes, I hope that this isn't deliberate and in preparation for something.

It's not deliberate...I actually started out trying to do a Tim Curry beard...people keep telling me I look like Tony Stark though.

I rented a copy of BTTF3 from a local Blockbuster Video and shortly thereafter the store I rented from went out of business. As such, I have never returned it. I have since rented at least one other item from a different nearby Blockbuster and they never said anything about my having a fine for not having returned BTTF.

I used to love it when I was younger. Unfortunately, I had a faulty cartridge with a dodgy battery, so the save function didn't work. Thus, I became an expert at the first two dungeons. I must have played them somewhere in the 20's now, which has kind of ruined it for me. Hopefully the rest of the game will be nice and new!
