Today is March 20. So along these 10 days EP 3 will be released. Hopefully
Well, if they only release on weekdays like everyone is saying, it's either between this upcoming Mon-Fri (doubtful) or next Mon-Wed. I'm guessing a pre or post weekend release. Just seems more conventional.
its times like these we wish we have a working flux capacitor, mr fusion and delorean right now. come on tell tale games! give us episode 3 already =(.

I know how you feel, I see the preview and really can't wait! it's almost here..I can feel it maybe tomorrow.
How hard would it be to release a trailer for the game before it comes out. Also i could venture to say how hard is it given the months of anticipation to release a game. It's ten days until the end of march guys give the fans a break already!

Well, that sort of happened with Ep. 2, but here's the deal. The trailer for Ep. 2 said "Available Now!" when it wasn't up yet. lol
Not necessarily. Look at Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People. Episode 3 came out on October 27, 2008. Episode 4 came out on November 17. It's always been "it's done when it's done", sometimes for shorter, sometimes for longer. Anymore, Telltale has been releasing the first four episodes in consecutive months (BttF being an exception) and labeling the last episode with "Finale" in place of a month to give themselves a little breathing room if they need it (or not, as was the case with Sam & Max season 3).
People complained about Tales of Monkey Island chapter 5 coming out in December, after chapter 4 had come out in October, but because the release dates were October 30th and December 8th, the waiting period was actually shorter than the wait between episodes 1 and 2 (July 7th and August 20th, opposite ends of consecutive months).
The forum went down this morning!!! So I thought they were having a Monday release! I was wrong!
Where are you from? My World Time Clock tells me that it's currently 3:42 A.M. in San Rafael, CA (that's where Telltale's "HQ" is), so I don't think there's anyone in the office yet.
This thread cheers me up..... "Where's Episode 3, or 2 for PSN? Come on already!".
As before with all TT games, you'll see a trailer for each episode (PC/Mac) 7 days prior, however, BTTF is different as only Episode 1 trailer was a week before, Episode 2 was a surprise (trailer and release back to back)..... Episode 3 trailer has to be today or tomorrow, unless they do a surprise again like Episode 2. Chill.

The forum (and the rest of the site) goes down every morning around 1 am Pacific (8 am/9 am GMT, depending on daylight savings). It's just routine maintenance.
What the hell is taking this company so long to distribute episode two for the playstation Network? I was promised one every month after the first one, well its been over a month and they say on the 29 it will be released, thats almost a month and a half by my calculations. So this shit company lied and cant make do on thier promises...huh ill never buy another game from telltale ever again cause of this bullshit!!!
Ok first off they are at Sony's mercy. So go complain to Sony.
Second thing is that they didn't promise one every 30 days. If you notice it says for each episode when the other will be out which is the month of whatever. Hence they could release an episode on march 1st for example then not release another till the last day of April and that would still be within the timeframe promised.
Third thing the PS3 episode uses the old trailers from the PC version hence they're a month behind. So as long as episode two comes in March which it's going to then they are right on freaking time. So quit crying and be patient.
Think of it this way: Telltale is giving you the opportunity to leave your computer, go outside and enjoy the world for what it is.
As soon as the episode is released, everyone's going to lock themselves in their rooms and play the episode until completion. Once the episode is complete, everyone will come back to the forums and complain about how long it's taking episode four to be released.

Go outside and do something of value.
bingo. I plowed through episodes 1 and 2 in one sitting and likely will do the same with 3. So the longer it takes episode 3 to be released, just shortens the episode 4 wait times (and I am trusting they will have them released by the end of the months.
There were a bunch of other topics made asking about release dates, which have since been moved into this thread. Hence all of the posts telling people to come here. Those messages used to be in different topics, once upon a time, before they were consolidated.
The email does not say the 29th, it only says "next week." The 29th is for Episode two on the PSN. The way the text flows I guess I could see how it was confusing... This is the relative blurb from the interloper:
Things didn't look quite normal for Marty McFly in good old 1986 at the end of the last episode of Back to the Future, and even Dr. Emmett L. Brown himself isn't immune to changes in the time stream. The only way to get the next chapter of the story is by playing Episode 3: Citzen Brown - coming to PC and Mac next week.
As evidenced in the new concept art of a mysterious Emmett Brown, things didn't go as planned while Marty and Doc toiled away in 1931. Will this incarnation of Emmett Brown help or hinder young McFly?
If you aren't experiencing the continued adventures of Hill Valley's most famous (and only) time-travelers, get the full season of Back to the Future: The Game now!
Back to the Future: Episode 2 is coming to the North American PSN on Tuesday, March 29, with the European PSN and iPad launch dates coming soon!
Well, even if we don't have a precise date for Episode 3, I feel that "next week" announcement is already far better than the ugly "surprise release" of Episode 2.

Yay finally maybe a date to put in the calendar!
Ok yes i know this has been discussed.. I just found that someone had already mentioned it in a release date thread.. dohh.. fail on my part..
"It makes perfect sense" :P
Well if my calculations are correct, when the calendar hits the release date of this game, your gonna see some serious *ABC FAMILY EDIT* stuff.....
Stupid censors!!
But seriously....I have a VERY good feeling about this week....

On that note, I will be looking forward to Jurassic Park this May
LOL. No kidding

Where is the preview? Or are you talking about the end of the 2nd episode?

I'm just about to go to bed!!!! but I hoped TTG would release it before I do, so ....

Just so people know.
It's obvious that PSN users won't be seeing Episode 2 until the 29th, but who did you get that e-mail from? I'm doubtful.
It's in the Telltale Interloper, i.e. directly from Telltale.
I appreciate it.
