I don;t know if its just me, but it seems the activity/updates been quiet for a while.
When episode 1 was about to release, so much news, pictures, trailer, behind the scenes and such go on.
When episode 2 was coming and psn release for US psn was coming, there was so much news of it on blog and about new characters we would see in the upcoimg episodes 2 then and details of other stuffs. But once episode 2 was done for Pc, no news anymore.
When eu psn release, no news was posted on here like they did for us psn. Episode 3 is supose release this month, but we don;t have any news/ blogs or scoop on any new characters that might be in or something about episode 3.
In my opinion, it would be nicer if the company communicate more with us, keep us updates and such, give us a rough estimate when they think the episode be ready for pc and such. a month ahs 31 days or so. Could say coming Early this month , or mid this month, or end this month. At least its better than no news :P.
not quite. The trailer for episode 1 was out weeks or possibly even a month before it's release but the trailer for episode 2 was released less than 24 hours before the episode was available. Not that I'm complaining, I'm sure there is a lot of logistics, copyrights, and legalities which much go through for an episode to be released so as Alan said I'm greatful (as is everyone else) that they release the episodes when they're ready to go instead of holding onto them to build up hype. It does seem from the outside that there have been legal/copyright issues; the PS3 game got delayed due to this as did the episode 2 trailer (went up, then got taken down).
I know what you're saying with the whole legal approval thing, but is the ep4 process independent? Because if it isn't, I doubt we'll see ep4 in April.

From what I've heard, the PS3 delay of this game is the first time they haven't been able to stay true to a promise release and you can attribute that to the legalities. Seems up until this game and now Jurrasic Park, this is the first time they've had to go through copyrights (Universal), every other game was original.
It was over a month and a half between episodes 1 and 2 so even if episode 3 is released the last day in march, it's still a shorter timeline. I'd imagine these logistics are getting easier for them.

I suspect that it was longer than a month between 1 & 2 because during that time, there was Thanksgiving and Xmas holidays.
There release dates are going to be a month behind on pc then 2 months on ps3 yay lol whats the point of even following and playing this cat and mouse when I should just wait til MAY when all the episodes will be out and save time and not see or hear about spoilers on the ps3 version haha.

Where do you get that the release dates will be behind on PC? That has never happened before. Episode II was released 1 month ago from today (28 days ago) and 30 days ago there was the similar specuation/distres that there is now about how episode 2 would not make the promised february release, why have there been no trailers or images etc.. but they still got it out with 11 days remaining in the month (the shortest month of the year). The episode was released less than 24 hours after the trailer was.
Still 13 days remaining in march people, no need for panic.
Most likely because they honestly don't know. They get the episode out to us pretty much as soon as it's ready. Have patience, it's only the middle of the month.

I find it completely ridiculous that we aren't given a release date. Why can't the team at TT just be specific with the release date?
Have you ever had an IT job? Ever made a fair-sized program and had to debug? If the answer is yes, then you can appreciate that they really have no clue exactly how long it will take. It's not like building a wall. If you've never done either of the former things, then you can have even less clue than me as to what problems TT encounter when preparing episodes for release.
I really don't want to spend $20 or $25 ahead of time with the episodes being released longer than 1 month or more. I thought when I purchased the bundle, the episodes will be released in a monthly frequency.
What about the other games like Jurrasic Park? Will this be released in episodes as well?

Yes. Episodic gaming is Telltale's bread and butter.
It's too late for Back to the Future, but nothing prevents you from waiting until the final episode is released before purchasing Jurassic Park (if you're interested, that is).
Yeah, guys. Excuse excuse excuse. Excuse excuse excuse excuse. Oh, and excuse excuse. I mean, seriously, it's not like any other game or form of media has ever had a release date. What was that? It explicitly states in the credits of the PS3 version of Episode 1 that Episode 2 will arrive in February 2011? Yeah! On Mac! Duh! How stupid can you be? I mean seriously, guys. You are expecting way too much. You just don't get it. And who do you think you are? A paying customer? Pffft! Big deal! Telltale doesn't need your business! It only needs the business of the handful of schlubs who will blindly and endlessly defend a company that HAS CLEARLY MADE SOME MISTAKES.

Oh, blah, blah, blah. TellTale said that the game was ready on PS3 in January, but Sony didn't put it up until February. This isn't TellTale's fault, but Sony's.
On a plus side, Episode 2 will be out for PS3 on the 29th.

just look at the dates, mmmkay. so far ep 3 is behind 1 week and counting, by the time we hit ep 5 im sure it will be 1 month behind.

No it's not behind at all, they only advertised MARCH and we are still in march.
As I said a month ago, would you rather have a game rushed and either be poor quality and unfinished just so they can release it at the beginning of the month or have it done properly and released at the end of the month?
telltale should release all console versions on same day. no matter how much longer it takes to release the game
That would be probably impossible as the various consoles have different days for uploads and that's not taking into account the various different regions. None of which Telltale have any control over so the idea of getting them to do this just won't happen or even work.

Hey, as long as it's released in March, they still kept their promise. It's not like they ever gave us a specific day.
Bingo. And it doesn't make sense for them to announce a specific date; they miss it and they break their promise. If the game gets done early, then they'd have to hold onto it and give it to us LATER.
For those who are hell bent on having exact dates, just assume it'll be there by the last day of the month. If not then telltale are liars.

Not that it matters much. Telltale is notorious for being truthful with release dates, but I'm sure people could wait an extra few days to even a week if that's what it came down to.
At least Telltale isn't like Valve in these matters, constantly giving us games that we only semi-want (ie, Portal 2) instead of games that we really want (HL2 Episode 3). My argument about that is pretty much what everyone else's is: there's no reason why another entry in the series should take so long to make when there's a perfectly good engine to use.
And that's where Telltale differs. Rain or shine, they deliver... instead of needlessly pushing things back and making excuses.
I want it by 7 days from now. I would prefer today or tommorrow.
Today or tomorrow would be nice. I have friends coming over and I want them to see it - otherwise I have to wait for another week or two to show them the third episode. And I don't want to have to suffer through three to four hours of playing through it again.

Yes, for PC.
With the projected console release being in the fall ( ), I'd half expect a full-on release for its platform(s).

Soon, yes. If my calculations are correct, Episode 3 should hit us in the face at 88 miles per hour before the twenty-second day of March!
Actually, there haven't been enough releases for there to be any predictive validity whatsoever in that statement. I'm just getting hopeful.
Stop complaining now

Sorry for going off-topic. But the only other game I'm obsessively waiting for (besides Citizen Brown) is Portal 2.
I am waiting portal 2 too
Telltale has never been late with releasing episodes. What makes you think they're going to start now?
SPOILER! (any week now)

It'll come when it comes. And when it does, you all will play it and enjoy it.
Quit whining. It's getting ridiculous.
