We were aiming for a January release for Episode 1 on PSN but a number of delaying factors, including the approval process, made that impossible. We had already turned the game in with a February tag in the teaser video for Episode 2 when Episode 1 launched that month. Because of the delayed schedule, Episode 2 would not be hitting in February, but we're working on getting it into your hands soon! We'll absolutely keep you posted when we know more.
Apologies for any confusion.
^^^See? There is a reason people. Be thankful the wait wasn't as long as it might have been on XBLA.
As for the PS3 version, it's pretty well the same, though there's no cursor. It just jumps from "hotspot" to hotspot. Personally, I thought that the other analog stick would move the cursor, but that's just me.
Rough guess either the 15th,22nd,or29th of march since there isnt a release for today
We dont know that though, episode 2 there was no announcement. We simply went on the forums to find the site was down and lo and behold when it was back up, so was get tannen.
I dont understand why telltale games is taking so long to put bttf ep2 for ps3 out? I talked to soembody from playstaion and they said it would be out tuesday march 8th 2011 well to find out that wheni came home and turned on the ps3 and checked the store and nothing! I think that stupid company likes to lie when they says something will be out when its not.
I personaly think it will never be out on the ps3 its all a bunch ofcrap! lies lies lies. I will be amazed to find the day that, that episode will ever be out.
That's heavy, Nate. I believe only Telltale knows when their games will be released. Any dates from anyone else is pure speculation. At least, that's from my experience.
Here's my usual reply to NateMan (though I'm sure he won't find it very helpful and will probably open a new thread on the same subject - which would be his fourth, this one being his third and the first two having since been moved to this thread - in the very near future):
Here's what Telltale's own Caleb said a while back:
When we want to put a game on any of the major consoles, we have to send Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo/etc a finished version of the game for approval. This approval process usually takes at least two weeks--sometimes longer, if the company finds problems or requests that changes be made. Every game that comes out for every console goes through this same process.
On Sam & Max Season 3, the PS3 versions were developed first, and the PC/Mac versions were finished while the PS3 versions were in the approval process. So when each episode was approved and we knew when it would be up on the Playstation Network, we could release the PC/Mac versions at about the same time.
With BttF, it was decided to develop the PC/Mac versions first, which is why they're coming out earlier--the PSN versions don't take that much longer to finish, but the approval process can take a while, and those versions can't come out until they're completely approved.
If its not up, then the next day would be friday, so im pretty sure it will be on the ps3 on fri! just a few more days. I bet u will be thinking i wish didnt want it to come soo soon after you play and beat the episode in a few hrs and then are back to waiting once again for the next episode lol.

It clearly states one episode a month, 15th of february - 15th of March = One month!
Watch and learn... (I hope haha! )
No, it clearly states "monthly", which in this case means "somewhen in March". If the PSN people are very nice.
And, DUUUDES. There's a "release date discussion thread" in here. It's quite frankly the only place where you go to post your madness and/or amazement about unannounced release dates on any platform. That's where posts of this kind, per definition, belong.
And if someone somewhere talks about an announced release date, and it's not on Telltale's blog, just forget about it. Please just forget about it, saves a lot of pain and disappointment. "Somebody" seems to be the worst possible source.
Episode 1 was released on 2/15/11 during the psn tuesday update. Hopefully, and this is me speculating, that this tuesday (3/15/11) should have the release of episode 2.

^ That's pretty much your best bet, but dont be surprised if it's a psn update or two later, since nothing's concrete. I also can't stress enough to check out the Release date discussions (merged threads) thread before making any release-date related topics, since at least a half dozen other users have made the exact same topic, and have pretty much received the exact same answer. All of those previous topics have been consolidated into that topic, and I'm sure this topic will be moved there shortly, as well. So basically, I would check there for the release dates of future episodes in the coming months to save yourself (and everyone else) some time
The site loaded slowly for me today and I was all excited thinking it's due to the new episode being loaded!
Honestly, if the episode would have been uploaded, the site would have been down instead of loading slower than usually. Check your broadband connection, I sometimes have the same problem.

We have not announced a release date for Episode 3 yet.
great, you jinxed it.
Yes you did :V
March, 2011.
Are you going to announce it this time Alan, or will it be a surprise again?
You're welcome, everybody.

But we don't have one, except for the "Next Episode" trailer included with Episode 2.
Really? I haven't had any slowdowns at all today.
Or maybe they misconfigured and caused everything to be 403 forbidden >_>
That said, we're still waiting on SBCG4AP.
All this TT goodness for my PS3, no wonder Ive had to upgrade to a 160gb model.

I'm watching a playthrough on Youtube.
Is the Episode 2 available for download on Playstation network yet?

Next week is spring break.
This could work for me.
