yup pretty certain this is the last game im buying from telltale or w/e games they help make...good job losing a customer, how much longer before you tell us something? how many customers are you willing to lose for a tad bit of information?
It seams that you never bought a game from TellTale before. So they do not lose a customer, instead they gained a customer, or didn't you buy this game? At least they will not lose a regular customer. :D

Telltale before INFORMED at their customers and apologized, at least. Seems Alex it's not angry because "Telltale sell the game using episodic model instead of selling the whole game". He's angry because Telltale don't say a word about this delay which it's normal, I think.

Lachi, are you a Telltale fanboy or you didn't read to Alex? ;)

    To the telltale team,

Thanks for such a great game(from what I see from reviews). I would like to purchase the PS3 version of the game and I currently reside in Malaysia. Are there any plans to sell them on the PSN Asia store where I can purchase it digitally? If not; any suggestions on where I can get it? Evidently I can't purchase it from the US store.

Thanks again for a great game!

I bought the first episode in the german PS Store and played it through. Now im wondering if i can download the second episode from the us store and if my decisions from the first episode will influence the second episode from the us store exactly like it would if i bought the second episode from th german store as well.So basically i don't want to loose my progress but i would still prefer to download from the US store now. So are these two versions compatible with each other just like episodes from the same store ?

for anyone still wanting a reason why they havent came out with ep2. Here's mine. E3 wasnt the version we will get...therefore another version needed to be made. all the ttg devs were working really hard to polish the E3 1 while our version was put on standby till E3 was over. Bet im close if not hit the nail on the head.

Will PS3-version characters' self-shadowing problem be fixed?

I have been searching the forums, but can't find an answer to this. Is there only going to be 5 episodes, or are you planing on making this an ongoing game?

This forum is full of useless posts like his, mine and yours. Does it really matter what intentions I had when writing? But obviously I was just trolling. It is just too easy, somebody will always fall for it...

I just want to be a jerk here and say they never really lost a customer now did they? You never bought a game before this so you weren't a customer then, and since you won't be buying their future games then you aren't their customer then. They never really lost(or gained for that matter) a customer...

I love the Fanboys they are the only reason I keep coming back to this forum...

new poster whines - Fanboys usually the same 4 turn up to poke fun.

Another new poster whines - Same 4 posters (do they not have better things to do?) turn up to whine about the cry babies and poke fun.

Now that’s a good way to make long Cab trips from point A to point B go quicker, plus that way I don't have to engage in convo with the cab drivers.

    Thanks Cry-babies!

Thanks Fanboy boys who have nothing better to do!

I have a question for The Walking Dead Team. is it possible to start the game with ep2, or an even later episode? if so what are the pre-determined choices that Lee makes? thanks.

How are the relationships between Lee and other survivors being recorded by the game? Is there a score which the game records, or do their actions depend on whether you sided with them on a particular argument?

There isn't a score or a slider or anything like that. We look at all the different things you've done and try to figure out how those things would make the characters behave towards you. It's being looked at far more from the angle of a writer or storyteller than a computer spreadsheet. Kenny doesn't have an "Allegiance to Lee: 5/10" value or anything like that. We look at the different actions as story points and as events in the characters lives, try to figure out how much weight they'd have to that character relative to other events, and then weigh them all against each other to figure out which things that character would care about in your playthrough. From there it's easy to know what they should say to you and how they should act.

It's not a very mathmatically clean approach (a hardcore RPG designer would probably barf at it), but it means (we hope!) that it won't just feel like you're being nice or mean to a character to push a "nice to you/mean to you" slider around.

    The game is five episodes.

If we do more afterwards, it will be a "second season" of more episodes, which would be sold separately. (See our Sam & Max games for an example of this!) We haven't announced (and aren't currently making) anything beyond these five, though!

I believe that it is possible to start from ep 2. The game will open with a "previously on!" which shows a predetermined set of choices. I'm not sure what those choices are, or if we will have multiple starting seeds for mid-season players, or what. That's a good question!

thanks. Maybe for episodes 3 and up you could do like a random choice generator type of thing, so that people (not me) won't get upset about the pre-determined choices ruining their "canon". just a thought. can't wait for ep2! :)

Simple question for The Walking Dead Team:
Does saving different person result in different outcomes for the storyline, or does it merely make for variations in the dialogue?
I wonder how many possibilities it would be..
    Thanks :D

hey here is a question....where is episode 2? The end of June could not be more vague. How about some concrete information for a change?

Why is ttg communicating more with potential customers instead current customers?

Why has ttg not yet made a statement here on the forums regarding the delay of the product we've paid for and when we can expect it?

Can we expect this kind of disrespect in the future as paying customers?

Got an email today from support saying you are working hard to release episode 2 "in the coming few weeks."

Maybe it's been asked (I'm not going to skim through 20 pages)

Given a general consensus what's or would be the team's favourite Zombie movie?

Well, my personal favorite would have to be "Shaun of the Dead".

Correct. There aren't invisible stat sliders you push up and down through your actions in this game. Larry literally remembers that you called him an asshole (and above that, knows that Larry is angry or touchy about certain subjects), then sees what is available for Larry to say to you given that fact. It's more complicated and more varied than that, but it's definitely closer to a web of tiny and big story opportunities than it is a series of sliders you can grind up and down.

Winners have been chosen but aren't yet announced. I think they're waiting for episode 2 to come out before announcing the winner, because if the winners were announced right now for better or worse the only comments would be "stop wasting time picking winners and release the second episode, you asses."

Depends on what you mean "outcomes for the storyline." It would be crazy of us to confirm or deny that doing something like Saving Doug will change the end of the season, but the different characters do mean that your story goes in slightly different directions at points. A lot of that change will "just" be that you have different dialog and conversations, but there are consequences to your actions, and the effects of your early actions start to fragment and have greater change the longer you and the survivors live with them.

If I had a 100% confirmed date and time, it would be because we're already sharing it, but I do know it's damn soon. We'll have more legit answers in the very near future, because (as you can tell by looking at the calendar) we are running out of June! I know it sucks that you guys have waited this long. We're squirming around in our seats just about as much as you are about it, I guarantee! Ep 2 is pretty sweet and I can't wait for you guys to be playing it.

Do you really want an answer to this? I can confirm that the episode does NOT end with Lee literally hanging off the edge of a cliff. As for what does happen, I would feel kind of bad giving away even the TYPE of ending in store for ep 2.

Across the team you would probably find a lot of votes for Shaun of the dead, and then a lot of original Romero Dawn of the Dead fans coming in second (I actually don't know the breakdown of Night/Dawn/Day preferences among the team, but they are for obvious reasons cited often as favorites and as reference by folks who are excited to be making a Walking Dead game).

So can you say whether or not it will remain a June release? Is there a possibility we won't see it until July?

Can you cite what caused the delays?

Also, are the other episodes (as of now) on schedule for July, August, September releases, or will we be seeing more extended gaps?

My question is how long has episode 2 been finished for? I imagine it was finished a helluva long time ago but the licensing deals kind of screwed us with the wait.
