I like anything with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, though Shaun of the dead is definately one of their best. It's a classic. It's probably one of my most watched zombie films.
STOP POSTING ON THE DAMN MESSAGE BOARD.. GET BACK TO WORK AND GET THE GAME RELEASED ALREADY.
joking
figured someone would say something like this sooner or later (kind of like NFL fans who think a player should be constantly practicing and not posting something on twitter)
My question (possibly asked before):
You said that you haven't announced or started on a second season but....
The Walking Dead Game Season 2... Possible, Probable, Not likely???
I know we have only gotten one episode but I love it.. If a second season were announced I'd probably go ahead and pay for it now lol
My fear is that this game will play the game 2 ways. A deceitful aggressive lee. And a smart and nice lee.
That is not the way this game has worked in episode 1. Really deceitful and aggressive options were hardly to be found. Lee's a decent guy mostly, however you play... so I doubt that will determine the final ending(s).
Alright, I have quite the shopping list of questions so I suppose I might as well start from the top.
In Episode 1 there seemed to be a greater opportunity to interact with Carly as Opposed to Doug. You have the conversation in the office, the side "mission" to find the batteries, the ability to give her an energy bar as opposed to Doug, the opportunity to go out into the field with her to assist Glenn. Not to mention she saves you from zombies twice, I just feel there was meant to be more of a connection to Carly given all the interaction. Was this intentional? Are you going to balance out things like this in the future to destroy the perception of a right choice? (I honestly picked Carly just because I felt like she was given A LOT more face time and was thus the appropriate person to save, as well as enjoying her aid, of course.)
A large amount of the community has a lot of hate for Larry. I honestly was on the ropes with him until Episode 1 was coming to an end at which point I joined the crowd of Larry haters. In your recent E3 coverage I noticed Larry actually attempting to save you from a zombie in the truck bed, and after it all goes down hill and you're rolling around he's the one who finishes it off. Does this mean that Larry is going to be portrayed in a more positive light in future Episodes, or perhaps he's just saving you because of your ability to complete tasks and assist the group?
From what iv'e read of E3 coverage it seems as though Mark was introduced between Ep1 and Ep2, is this true or does he have an introduction during Ep 2? If he is introduced between, will we get any of his backstory previous to the group? (I really dig his Jacket and Pants, seems like a "cool" guy)
Will we be running into any other tasteful cameos? I know Lilly eventually becomes a part of the Woodbury community, is there a chance we'll actually see this happen? (Or perhaps be in Woodbury for a small portion of time and then leave?!:D)
Last but not least I was wondering about your plans for group dynamics. At the moment at least Lee reminds me a lot of a combination of Axle and Tyreese from the comics being that he has a generally good disposition, brings some much needed muscle to the group and seems to be very loyal to the people he is with at this time (Except Larry and to a lesser extent Lilly). It seems like Lilly is the self proclaimed leader of the group; my question is this. If you were to influence the other survivors in positive ways, would you be shifted into a more leader-esque role in later Episodes?
Mines just a short question that I apologize if it's already been asked... Any chance that future episodes will have more then three save spots? With the sheer amount of changing that could take place and different options available... I'll probably be playing through a fair number of times!

well once you've used all three slots out of all 5 episodes you can use the rewind feature to change choices without redoing the earlier choices that don't change anything ?
Will we be running into any other tasteful cameos? I know Lilly eventually becomes a part of the Woodbury community, is there a chance we'll actually see this happen? (Or perhaps be in Woodbury for a small portion of time and then leave?!:D)
OH MY GOD! I just had to go flip through like 20 comics but I finally found Lilly! That bitch!!! Ah man.... shit's gonna get good I can feel it! (I hope anyways! And sorry if I'm not allowed to curse... sensor me? ) I did read on wiki, what they have for episode 3, says that Lee's group may possibly encounter the infamous town of Woodbury... so if this Lilly is gonna be that Lilly, I can totally see that happening! That'd be so cool if they take it that way!
heres a question about the contest i can't participate in . Will the bitten human Winners personality be determined by TTG or will they have input. it be terrible if say a member of K.I.Q.C.S. wins and is written to be psychotic toward the Queen before the transformation
Okay big question here. First let me explain the scenario then ask the question.
Mini spoiler.
Your first big decision when you find clementine. Wait til night to leave or find help now. Its fun but there really isnt an impact at all. One guy dies if u wait. He lives if not... but then he leaves after you reach the farm so it doesnt really matter.
I hope later in the game you run into the cop or meet that guy you saved cause you found help instead. Because if not that decision had no effect on the storyline other than the 3 seconds you spend on the road outside of clemintines house.
and the question is.......
*Is this a bigger decision than it looks, or is it just a small wimpy decision that just affects the dialouge on the street?*
And i would haaate it if this game is filled with small wimpy decisions, but yeah theres insane ones like, who do you want to save. But i want every little thing to add up and possibly change the storyline, but maybe im just being greedy cause this game is blazing amazing already. But it needs to be balls to wall blazing amazing. Every little thing should have an affect on the big picture, this is probably insanely hard to do, but telltall rocks and they are beasts so hopefully you guys can set this sucker on fire and let it rip!!

Why cant the dev team tel us anything about the game.
I can understand that they maybe don't have a release date as long as things aren't certain.
But it would be the polite thing to do to just say. Hey guys hang in there we are working on it. We have some problems regarding the game. etc.
That will bring some peace back to the community. Dont leave us in the dark you will only set the customer against you. As you can see in many threads here on the forums. People are sick of waiting and be left out in the dark. Without any proper response of the dev team.
I am on a point where if I don't here anything regarding ep.2 I will NOT purchase any episode of the Walking Dead. I will not risk the chance of getting ep.2 after a long wait. Then to be left in the dark again for ep.3.

This is another failed attempt to beg for a response from a company that obviously has no concern for their customers. Sorry to break the news to you, but TTG is only swimming in the cash they have already raked in. Shame on you TTG!
Yeah, I have a question. How in the fuck is it July 26th and episode 2 isn't out yet, its fucking ridiculous. The only reason I bought the game is because it was a once a month. Its not been 2 months, and not a word from any of you on why it was delayed or even a date for the release, other than a cryptic "late june" at the end of a trailer you played at E3.. TWO FUCKING WEEKS AFTER it was originally supposed to be released. I waited somewhat patiently for it, you guys won't get another cent or another microsoft point out of me on the walking dead or any other games you've currently made or will in the future.
I'm not sure TTG actually HAS a PR team. Pretty evident by the lack of info. TTG is still a fairly small company, but has a lot of adventure game veterans behind it. Many OWNERS of this company ARE DEVS. They can say whatever they want

There is a PR manager but I've not seen him round here much recently. As for the devs, they will have limits on what they can freely discuss which will have been agreed upon well in advance and stipulations entered into contracts. That is why you will mostly see the devs talking about non game specific stuff but that are also related to either what they are working on or what they generally like. The CEO (Dan Connors) has been in the industry a while but regardless these kinds of restrictions will be in place.
I'm sort of surprised to see a member of the development team on the forums answering pointless questions...like how many walkers does it take...etc.

Don't you sort of think that there is enough bad PR surrounding the TellTale team as is?
I think it was in poor taste to even speak up (referring to you answering something so pointless) since you know there are plenty of upset TWD fans...wanting refunds, speaking of legal action, etc.
Since it's rumored there are 90 people working on TWD game...maybe you should keep hush when it comes to commenting on pointless questions, and get back to work.
Not only does it make your company look bad, it makes a lot of the fans feel as though you’re not taking your job too seriously, since we all know how "hard" the Telltale team is working.
I truly think Robert Kirkman would be disappointed in knowing this is the way you are treating HIS fan base.

Actually if you got the game through Steam, the wording for the purchase has changed for TWD. Instead of monthly installments, it states episodes will release periodically in 2012. It also clearly says Season ONE.
Strange as there was never any mention previously about doing multiple seasons of the game itself. Steam know something we dont? Or is this also a big reason for the long delay in Ep 2. Reason being that they were overwhelmed by the 1 million purchases and have decided to make this an epic series, instead of a 5 episode and done concept.
It is quite possible they are completely rewriting elements of the story to work with a 2 or more season approach. With that idea, they cant go killing off everyone all the time, or there wont be enough characters to last a second season
Oh sorry, we just always call it that, sorry. That's not meant to imply anything. A second season isn't announced, nor are we working on it! (That's not to say a second season wouldn't be cool, but right now we have this season to make!)

New characters-New season, not such a bad idea. Left 4 dead did it....I know, bad example But if they kill off everyone this season, they can always create a new protagonist, might even be cooler that way.
i.e., "The wait is over. The Walking Dead: The Game Episode 2 is coming this week. Yes, in a bit of last minute news, Episode 2: "Starving For Help" will land on Xbox Live tomorrow, Wednesday, June 27th. PC and PS3 versions of the second of five downloadable episodes will arrive on Friday, June 29th."

I got a rather good question. What possible reason could you have for delaying the pc release yet again? It's not a bug issue, because its only a 2 day wait...so I just have to know, why?

I hope this game has a Ton of different endings..
My fear is that this game will play the game 2 ways. A deceitful aggressive lee. And a smart and nice lee.
When i play one of these types if games.... i like to be a jerk first.
The next playthrough im very honest and positive. Then the games over. And im done with it
I hope this doesnt happen to the walking dead. And my question is.......

also anyone think the protagonist from the first two Penny Arcade games will be back for 3 in any way shape or form?

e3 interviews imply ep2 is balls to the wall...
The community assumes that in some kind of butterfly effect, this seemingly arbitrary decision will have definite impact on following episodes.
What issue is Lily in?? I don't remember.
Thanks.
