As far as "more after 5" goes, right now this is it! We're focusing on getting these five out and in your hands as fast as we can first, before thinking about what could possibly come after.
Fair enough. As long as the other three episodes are as great as the first two, we will totally support if you guys ever have plans to continue after this. I am sure it would have to be different characters due to story and productions reasons, but that could be a fun way to expand the universe (maybe they can show somewhere else other than the South to see where else has been infected).
I still hope you guys can address the issue I pointed out with Kenny (I listed it in the "To Telltale" thread. I just would love to just know if it was a glitch or intentional). Other than that though, I have had few complaints with the game. Even with some of the technical glitches, for being the format it is this is still very impressive work. Glad to have been supporting Telltale for better (Back to the Future, Sam and Max, Walking Dead) and for worse (Jurassic Park, sorry but i did not enjoy that one much). Keep it up

and on time with only a month wait and not a two month wait like last time
Jake I have a query. My decision from episode 1 didn't carry though completely. Kenny called me a friend at the end of episode 1. Although in episode 2 he commented that I was against Duck at the drugstore. That was because of the "reason with him" response, which I thought would side with Kenny, but it ended up siding with Larry. Through conversation though, I generally stuck up for Duck and even punched Larry. So i was a bit confused why Kenny was p**** at me.
Apart from that hiccup, great episode and I can't wait for the third one.

That was my only one too. Did it not just seem so weird and inconsistent story and gameplay wise?
Bonus note: This thread is also not really the best place to ask tech support questions. If you're having trouble with a save game or a download/unlocking issue, please post in the Support Forum or write to support@telltalegames.com.
How much does The Road To Woodbury effect your freedom of writing the series for Lily? Are you guys limited by what you can do with her because of it? Or does the events in this series take place before her story in The Road To Woodbury.
Thanks Jake. I really needed a post like this a lot sooner.
Could we get more decisive episodes in the future? Episode 2 felt a little devoid of options. Lee is his own character but I think some creativity could allow him to branch this way or that slightly more. For example, maybe eating people isn't so bad that you need to make the cannibals feel uncomfortable? Also there's at least one dialogue option that goes no where. When you talk to the brother on the farm who's obsessed with his gun and he "notes your suspicion". It doesn't seem to lead to anything. Maybe I missed it?
Anyway thanks for the post. Now I won't be nearly as angry waiting til October for Episode 3.
Will our decisions ever affect the story direction? Right now I have a feeling of doom that they will only make slight changes that actually don't matter such as
-
Larry or Mark missing with the axe
-
Kenny or Lilly shooting (or not shooting) Andy
-
Clem saying "Shit" "Manure" or "Doody"
-Dialogue that doesn't affect the story
(Mark bitching about not getting a ration etc)
Also,
saving Doug or Carley
hasn't seemed to matter at all yet since
you interact with them at the same times for the same purposes, they just accomplish the same goals in slightly different ways
The first time in episode 2 when
you wound up locked in the freezer
I felt guilty for getting my group in that situation, but later I was really disappointed when I found out it happens regardless of what you do.
I'm really hoping that there will be a season 2 with Clem and Lee! I don't think that any other survivor should be alive because it might affect gameplay(if you saved Doug/Carley, how is that going to carry on to the new season save files?) All in all, TT is doing a wonderful job with the game.
@Jake: Thanks for that enlightening post, Jake! It definitely renews my hope to see TellTale provide such insight to their customers. Can't wait to hear further news regarding Episode 3's release!
A question for Jake, Harrison, or anyone else from TTG who reads these and answers them [if i didnt mention you and you do answer here alot i apologize]
What do you envision when you think about Jenny Pitcher?
I personally imagine a quiet but attractive redhead. Her father was businessman and her mother was a nurse. She was bisexual and often had a boyfriend and girlfriend at the same time. She was incredibly sweet and careing. but she suffered from depression. and with her older sister Becky away at college she lost her greatest confidant so she ended up O.D.ing away from the others to not be a bother. But she was unaware she would reanimate and when her girlfriend saw her not moving she called some friends to come help her and one locked the door so the adults wouldnt find out...and then she came back.
Also can we get a TWDG blooper reel? not just the audio outtakes although those would be fun but animated bloopers just for fun. example
Larry comes backs from the dead and shouts at kenny who freaks and drops the salt lick on his own foot.
Any idea when you guys are going to fix any of these game-breaking glitches? Especially the glitch that deletes all previous save-files on the Ps3 during 3rd playthrough attempt of episode 2? I don't have 40+ hours to keep replaying this game after each new episode is released.
I bought it on PS3 because of the season pass, but I'm hearing the 360 version also has glitches that don't remember past story choices made! How the hell is this game even tailored to how you play if it can't remember your choices, or if it deletes all your save files- sucking away the enthusiasm needed to even continue playing future episodes?!
Anything in mind to appease your fan-paying public? This is a real drag. If this is a sign of what's to come with digital gaming, I'll focus on reading more. There's no excuse for this kind of crap, especially when its lining your company's pockets with millions!

I've never thought anything specific. I don't know if anyone has. She lives on in your memory, apparently. Weird.

I've seen this mentioned but I don't know the answer or the status of that, I'm sorry. I'll ask around. It's definitely known by the team and is being investigated. Out of curiosity, by "third playthrough attempt" do you mean third playthrough on the same save slot, or once you fill three save slots? Any details of how it happened to you would help.
As far as questions about the way the season ends I don't really want to say anything. Talking about how that stuff plays out even in the most vague terms would be giving too much away.
I think we'll be talking about it in some way reasonably soon. Sorry for the protracted radio silence. I know it sucks/sucked.
I get that you are upset at the delay, but please know that the delay is not meant out of disrespect, it is meant out of the OPPOSITE. We are honored that you are interested enough in our take on the Walking Dead to purchase the game from us, and we want to do right by your purchase and the world of the Walking Dead with a quality game we hope you'll remember well for years to come. Hopefully the delay between eps 1 and 2 hasn't marred that too much! (Also, if it's any consolation, a silence like that is unlikely to ever happen again.)
Yes, that was and is my main problem. Being a long time customer of TTG i am not used to being ignored. This time however i felt ignored and not being valued. The "radio silence" as you call imo was the worst decision TTG ever made (If it was your own decision). If you (or others) sometime could give us some explanation for this (i assume it might have something to do with microsoft...but i don't want to go x-files here...that is exactly why a real explanation would be helpfull) maybe i can understand what happened here and building new trust in your company again (I really like you and your games....until this unlucky thing happened).

It happened to me in the third save slot, after playing through episode one when I was attempting to start episode 2. And I'm reassured just knowing that the team is aware of it, so thanks for that.

For me the 2 times it happened were on the 3rd save slot of the 1st playthrough attempt on episode 2(essentially making it the 3rd overall attempt when in conjunction with the first 2 save slots). I'm going to replay both episodes on the 1st two save slots, and leave the 3rd one empty until a possible fix is mentioned. Again, thanks for the response.
I know its been said that you don't need to follow the show or comic to play the game, but should I wait till all 5 episodes are out? or is each episode enough to play alone? Or is that just personal preference?
I've read a little on the forums, and I know it was mentioned that Rick and Lee will never meet, and I'm fine with that it is meant to be different stories, but I was thinking it would be great for a cameo as in, Rick hears a broadcast from Lee that he can't make out or vice versa... Just enough to give a nod to the other...
Please never stop inserting those Monkey Island trophies/achievements. When I got the "you fight like a dairy farmer" trophy, I bursted out laughing. Great job!
I know this isn't really the right thread for it, but are you guys thinking about perhaps making a new "Monkey Island" related game? That would be so awesome.

If I had it to do all over again, I would have waited. Originally when I bought the season pass, (I know it's been said a billion times) I thought the episodes were going to be released every month. That would have been enough time to pass where I could keep up and not lose the story and characters (like the comics). Now that they have a "periodic release" status. I wish I had waited. It is too much time in between to get a fluid experience.
Jake will there ever be a test where we find a settlement with nine spaces open and we have ten people so we're forced to kill one person with a pistol and we can talk to everyone kenny suggests lily lily suggests kenny and others have suggestions and you can choose anyone even duck clementine the guy who made you choose or even lee but the guns empty and whatever you choose gets you called out
Why is choosing to Reason with Larry tracked as siding with Larry instead of the following choices where you can shout him down or punch him? It feels like it was the wrong thing for the game to be tracking.

Looking through the files, it's one of many things in that argument which change how Kenny saw the outcome. Shouting him down or punching him is also tracked. They appear to have equal weight, which was probably not smart, but the "reason with him" dialog is not the only thing being looked at.

Ok. It just seems inconsistent though that he tells me what a great person I was because I saved Duck and then shouted down Larry, but then Kenny tells me I tried to throw Duck out in Episode 2

Nice vague response Jake hehe!
Jake mentions it above in his post.
Or, more likely, he was including your post with the suggestion to use the support forums for tech support questions:

Also,
The first time in episode 2 when
Ending A. Kenny Clem Lee and the gang decide to have an epic beach party and all the survivors has a massive beach party.
Ending B. Lily Clem and Lee go to The Circus and have a grand old time. if you hardened Clem she doesnt throw up on the teacups .
Ending C. The world is suddenly Cured
Ending D. Clementine establishes a new world order.
As you can see they are completely diffrent.
Instead of essentially Mass Effect Three which had three pallet swapped endings with a few diffrent characters.
Again not asking for ANY details on the endings just asking if there will be extremely diffrent endings which are positive in their own ways

Also weird. Not out of the question, though. I've been fixated on the idea of seeing

my 2 cents.
Jane Clementine Rizzoli
that is pointless you just won the jackpot
