But what about multi-player...Or maybe have a part where a second player is nessesary to do something. I'd be fine with any one of those.

Knowing the type of people who are on the forum, about half of them wouldn't be able to beat the game if there was a part that it was nessesary for a second player to do something. ;)
I'd like some ac-miniature golf course-tion as well though.

O.K., Here's my new episode speculation: IGN said that the third episode was something about metal music so......... What if it was where Strong Bad starts his own metal band in order to score some tickets to a Limozeen concert? You would have to run around recruiting characters to join your band, each playing different instruments and effecting how your songs sound. After you have enough band members, you get to play both original songs and songs from the website (awesome tracks right here: http://www.homestarrunner.com/limozloshy.html) by sloshy and Limozeen, etc. in a Guitar Hero type setting. After you play enough songs, you start to earn tickets for your band. Also, you would be able to steal/buy music sheets from other players to unlock more songs to play.

look awesome5, this is all well and good, but totally unrealistic. Telltale doesn't make rhythm based games, they make point 'n click adventure games.

....multiplayer is something that does not work with Adventure games. At all. In fact, it really doesn't work in any game with lots of dialogue and critical thinking.
Rather Dashing, you have a good point, but we shoudn't rule out the possibility of online leaderboards for microgames such as Snake Boxer 5. I wouldn't be devastated if they weren't there, but one could only hope...

Zelda Phantom Horglass ring a bell? It can be done, but it needs to be thought about well. It doesn't even have to be anything like the main game, it could be a bunch of minigames really.
  • edited July 2008
The only minigames i can see working well are videlectrix ones, ones involving the main characters would make several peoples heads explode about continuity, how they managed to organize the event with Homestars screwed up perception of time, etc. I can see it now:
Snake Boxer 5: VS Mode included! Now your 2-bit buddy can be an 8-bit snake!
  • edited July 2008
i think that online minigames would be fun. i would play videlectrix games against my friends and the rest of the world. but the whole game being two player compatible, no. just... no.

Have fun, simultaneosly clicking objects, getting mixed voice clips, and arguing over which item will do what you need to do!Yes, it's Multi-player point and clicks!

how does it sound Sam & Maxish?
  • edited July 2008
He may be talking about how they get the call at the begining, but I don't see how that is purely related to S&M.
  • edited July 2008
me either. the plot line isn't sam & maxish at all

(In response to multiplayer madness) Well, I'd just like there to be multiplayer in the minigames. The Wii sounds like "we" for a reason!
  • edited July 2008
Yeah! That's why every game on the Wii has multiplayer!

Well, other than Metroid Prime Three.

    And Zelda.

    And Super Paper Mario.

    Fire Emblem....Endless Ocean....No More Heroes....Mario Galaxy....

I think in one of the episodes there should be a fun machine microgame called Kid Speedy 3-D:It would have mode-7-like visuals and look like super mario kart on the SNES!And since it would be mode-7, everything except Kid Speedy and his opponents would look like it was a paper cutout glued to the ground!!!

play the original Kid Speedy at http://www.videlectrix.com/videlectrix_demos.html

    and on the wii:www.videlectrix.com/vii/

Maybe they should invent mode-8 just for that game!

Maybe they should use GOOD GRAPHICS.

    I mean...

    3D?

Who do they think they are, spacemen?!

But it wouldn't really be 3-D, it would look kinda like F-zero and Super mario kart style. Those games weren't actually 3-D.

    P.S.
"REMEMBER THESE DAYS?!THOSE WERE THE HAY-DAYS!!!"

    "I...I can draw hay."

Grammar is for people who actually want to accomplish things in life. When the Telltale employes type, they spell like real people. If you want to ever get that degree from CGNU you'd better learn your english! I'm not talking about one of those shady online degrees either. Speaking of which, perhaps that could be a goal in a future SBCG4AP episode, you have to get a shady online degree from CGNU online where one click equals one year!

Game would only last few minutes, and anyway my reply would be speculation from this point onward. I'm gonna type it as one word so it looks like gibberish and isn't offtopic.

    it's up to Nintendo now

    Nintendo better hurry up

they will, they're Nintendo! masters of the 3D! once 2D!

I'm not shure that the game is DONE done, but like, almost. Like, there using the tinny fluffy wheel to buff up any bit of possable splinterieness. And ESRB needs to rate it. Unless they already have. Nintendo should be fast, I think it'll either be next Monday or the one after. Or the one after that... *stares at calender*
  • edited July 2008
Telltale made it playable at Comic-con so yes it is done, and it's sure no shure

Multiplayer might be good for certain mini games, but for the entire game? No. One Strong Bad running around is enough.

Bad news peoples, looks like there won't be any Strong Bad games released this Monday in the U.S.

Heres the quote by Dazza, an admin of WiiWare-World:
"Wild West Guns is out this Monday in the USA..."

..and here's the link (3rd post down): LINK!

Who will know what this slogan is, when one realizes that, starting today, this is in fact not Telltale's newest series?
