By the by, are you guys going to make the game have any Mii usage? At least in the background? It would be su cuul. I got, like, a dozon Miis (out of alot of Miis) that I'd like to see in Free Country, U.S.A..
  • edited July 2008
    No Miis, sorry :)

It means she didn't make it. Someone else did. I'm not sure we could be more clear than that :)

Did Sam & Max have any cheat codes? It would be a near-shure sign that they'll be in SBCG4AP. Not the "I'm too lazy and a cheepo to try to beat this game so I'm gunna cheat" cheats, but the ones that do funny things, like "If you go into the kitchen and press 1, A, 2, B, and then Z, the room will change to resemble Stinkoman 20X6 level 2" type cheats.

AaAaAnd another thing. The videos show Strong Bad running to the pointer's location, but could you move him with the Nunchuck anolog stick too? Or the Wii-mote's D-pad?

Well, those aren't cheats, per se. Those are more like Easter Eggs.
  • edited July 2008
I wouldn't want it to resemble that Stinkoman level.I might be attacked by a rogue chicken...
  • edited July 2008
Well, still. I had the Grand theft auto series in mind. Not cheats like Remove Wanted Level and full weapons, but ones like All Green Lights, or All Pedestrians are poor. Those are still cheats, 'cause you put in a code, but it's not cheating, because it won't help you do anything. Those are the kinda codes I like... mostley. :P

i wouldn't want anything to resemble Stinkoman, mostly cause he's not that great, i like Stinkoman 20X6 but that's it

I've got a feeling SBCG4AP is coming out soon, but for me, that's a BAD thing! I'm going camping until the end of the month what ever will I do!?! Please August 1st Release!

HEY!!! NO!!!! NOT!!!! AUGUST!!!!!! NNNNNNNOOOOOO even though it probably will be but still NO!!!!!

In response to the cheat code discussion up there, there are definitely cheat codes in SBCG4AP. "If I can find the rest of this thing, I'll have the cheat code that unlocks Snake Boxer V's super secret forbidden mode!"

Other than that, I don't know. But The Cheat is in it!
  • edited July 2008
I didn't mean that, that's just plain obvius. I ment SBCG4AP itself. Yes, Snake Boxer 5 has one, and although it's IN SBCG4AP, it ISN'T SBCG4AP in my book. A videogame in a videogame would be an intire other game. To me. And yeah. Wha-eva.

I guess I didn't make it clear enough (or at all) that I was joking. My bad.

I wonder how difficult it'll be. And what kind of difficulty. Like, will it be puzzly, or would it be... ... ... ...not... puzzly? Like the exact way you'd get through the game's story stuff.

It's a unique combination of puzzles, not-puzzles, and lies.

One of the episodes should be strong bad checking his emails and let the players control him in flashbacks or when he uses his imagination.

I will not be happy unless I get to play in all the different side-universes. Old-timey, Strong Badman, Stinkoman, Powered by the Cheat, Teen Girl Squad, young Strong Bad, and Puppet Time.

No, I'd be expecting too much....eth if I was expecting the final episode to include a full-blown Peasant's Quest II.

    *hint hint, Telltale*

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, the fact is that there's 5 episodes THIS SEASON, and then since the sales are going to be crazy go nuts, there will be additional seasons to cover all the rest. Puppet Time will be a hard one to incorperate into a video game...

In conclusion: I want to spend some time on the CGNU campus. Maybe even have the jolly Dumple as the final boss!
  • edited July 2008
Fighting the Dumple!? Strong Bad made that! And Homestar wears it. I don't see that, but CGNU would be fun. A flashback, like in the e-mail "bike theif". And you'd actually be able to steal Homestar's bike, only to have it taken by Marzipan!

Don't you see, you'd want to completely demolish the Dumple because Homestar wears it. Beating somebody senseless is more fun when the person being beaten is surrounded by polymascotfoamalate! Believe me on this one guys!

Ok, now that's funny. I thought you ment a... living Joly Dumple.

What about a putt-putt mini game set in Sweet Cuppin Cakes' minature golf course, Sweet Puttin' Cakes?

After checking the list of WiiWare games on Wikipedia, I noticed that SBCG4AP has been put down for a July 28th release. Before I start getting beat up with jumping to conclusion comments, I would like to state that I am aware that Wikipedia is probably wrong (as anyone can edit the page), and that I am a fool to even think that the page is right. Just gave me a little hope... and any hope is good hope.:)
  • edited July 2008

Some things can only be truly expressed in Haiku

The source used on the date just takes you to a blog that has nothing about the release date. I think some fan out there is jumping the gun. I'm waiting to hear it from the horse's mouth (not that I'm calling anyone at Telltale Games a horse).

That would be fun, and maybe that could be an episode. Like, after playing, willing himself back into reality dosen't work. And adventure #74 begins... :D

Looks like my statement didn't help anything.
Anyway, although I may have found false hope earlier, I have been trying to find somewhere that says what WiiWare game is coming out July 28, and it hasn't been decided/announced yet. False hope? It's not false, and it's hope so, it's just hope.:)
PS: (I landed on 'Could be':D)

That makes it unconfirmed hope. (I landed on "Think again")

20X6 v. 1936 needs to be an episode unto itself. I'm also still hoping for the last levels in the Stinkoman game.

    All hope is unconfirmed.
