    I'd say she's Spanish or Portuguese by the name of her cat (Gomez)

    Exactly, tbm. Everything surrounding her is Spanish.

    No, I think you're wrong, I think there will be a small cutscene after the credits just like there was in "Lair of the Leviathan" and all three of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
