I hope someone from TTG tells us when these names are finalised so that we don' just keep posting stuff for no reason.

One would think that with over 18 pages of comments, that limit would have been breached a long time ago.

    " Singin in the wind"
    "101 ways to break wind"

Can't seem to edit my last post, so I'll put it here... another book the Voodoo Lady might have: "Tales of Monkey Island Walkthrough". Just to taunt us players. :P
Or, to pay homage to a great inside joke from sam and max, in the last episode have all the books be quick fixes for the previous episodes. Like:

Surviving a Siege, with Style! (Ep 2)
5 foolproof defenses for a pirate on death row (Ep4)
YES. Yes yes yes. Very good idea! :D

Or to pay homage to one of Sam and Max's best characters (in my humble opinion) - a series of books entitled "Do You Have Any..."

    Hey guys 'n' gals,
-- What sort of book titles do you think could be found on the Voodoo Lady's bookshelf? Y'know, things like "The Joy of Hex," or "Screams of My Father."

"The Bad Book (Papa Jambalaya Version)"
-- For reasons that defy explanation, we're trying to enumerate dozens of unique kinds of winds, things like "The Wind the Blows Off Your Hat," or "The Wind that Sounds Remarkably Like an Unhappy Echidna." Can you think of any others?

"The wind that feels like wind in your hair."
-- Lastly, what's your pirate name?

    According to the generator:
    http://gangstaname.com/pirate_name.php

My pirate name is apparently "Cap'n William Buttscar". Oh well, at least it's not "Cabinboy Richard Buttsecks" or something...

Just to spread knowledge. The Simpsons was referencing a Twilight Zone episode. The plot was that aliens had come to help us all out but one guy didn't trust them. The aliens all carried about called "To Serve Man". You can guess where it goes from there. This would make your suggestion an amusing tertiary reference.

Ah, we've got another Twilight Zone fan! :D

Thanks for pointing that out. I really like TZ ("Time Enough at Last" is one of my favorites episodes of all time, which was also spoofed by Simpsons and Futurama), but forgot to mention that in my previous post. "To Serve Pirate" would be an even better book title, for Guybrush could say: "It's a cookbook!" when you clicked on it. :p

TZ was all about irony, and few eps end more ironically than "Time Enough At Last." Burgess Meredith owned every ep he was in. A favorite of mine as a kid, though, was apparently (just looked it up) the last of the series: "The Bewitchin' Pool." Haven't seen it in forever, but it's a very TZ twist on some Peter Pan themes, which come to think of it, kinda reminds me of MI2's ending
