He was immediately smitten by her and after countless tries, she finally reciprocated his feelings. The two got into a very loving relationship and had six children together. However, Firna's depression proved to be too severe for her too handle. Shortly after the birth of her youngest child, seven years ago, she took her own life. This crushed not only Quentin, but also his children. For a long time he didn't saw how much it affected them, only thinking of himself. He started to drink heavily and relied on his oldest daughter Alara to raise the other children, which heavily alienated her from him. When he realized this, he thought it was too late to change it. To this day, Quentin lives his life in deep regret and self-pity, though his alcoholism also boosted his violent tendencies.

Personality: Ivy is a stern and very serious girl, who is mostly soft-spoken and silent. She knows the heavy burden that lies on her sisters shoulders and tries to help her the best she can. She is deeply affected by the loss of her mother and the condition of her father and often tries to get Alara and Quentin to reconcile. This usually fails because of Alara's stubbornness. Appearance: Cortex looks a lot like his mother, with a soft, feminine face for which he is often mocked. However, he is also muscular like his father, with the light-brown eyes that are typical for his family
Backstory: Cortex is Alara's younger brother and Ivy's twin brother. His mother died when he was seven years old and Alara took care of him. He has the best connection to his father, often spending hours trying to get him to do something. He still remembers his father how he once was and sees a lot of his earlier behaviour in Alara's current behaviour. Personality: Cedric is a free-spirited and independent boy who greatly resembles Alara in his personality. He is friendly, snarky and unlike her, he is always genuinely light-hearted. However, he also believes that he is very strong and often brings himself into bad situations, in which he relies on his sister to get him out of it. He shares her love of the nature and greatly idolizes her.
Appearance: Cedric is tall for his age, but very thin and underfed. Like his siblings, he has dark-brown hair and light-brown eyes. He greatly resembles his younger father, having a handsome, but quite wolfish face.
Backstory: Cedric is the younger brother of Alara, Ivy and Cortex. He was mostly raised by Alara and barely remembers his mother anymore. Alara is his favourite sibling, a feeling that is mutual. She often took him out into the lush forests of District 7, showing him the nature of the district, teaching him songs and telling him stories. He idolizes his sister and like her he has a very low opinion on his father. This year is his first year in which he has the chance of getting reaped and he is very nervous about this.

Personality: Amber has been mainly raised by Alara, a fact that is directly visible in her behaviour. She is wolfish in her behaviour, fiercely independent and comes off as very bratty for her age. Appearance: Amber resembles a younger version of Alara. She is wiry and lean, a bit underfed and shares the Morrow family traits of dark-brown hair and light-brown eyes, but it is apparent that she also got her mother's good looks.

While his rugged and wolfish looks would look great on a boy, they give her a very plain appearance and nobody would call her looks cute or pretty. However, she makes up for it by a naturally sweet smile and her innocent nature. She keeps her dark-brown hair short.
Backstory: Ava is the youngest sibling of Alara. Her birth was very complicated and her mother took her own life shortly after this. This came as a shock for the rest of her family, but thanks to Alara, Ava grew up quite well so far. She grew up as the families sunshine, often helping wherever she could, despite her young age. Even her father is very fond of her and she has by far the best connection to him.
I had indeed a lot of fun creating them However, I found it hard to give each of Alara's siblings a unique personality, seeing how I rushed them for the case that District 7 would be the next to get reaped and given that it is very late in my timezone and I'm quite tired. I hope they are not too bad.

We’re quickly sent to the prison they call the justice building. Peacekeepers force me into the luxurious room with regal carpets and plush couches. I sit in silence on the couch for several minutes before my dad, mom and sister are rudely escorted in by the peacekeepers. To be honest, I almost forgot them entirely when I was up there, it happens too often these days. My little sister, Cara runs up to me. Next year, she’ll be eligible for the games.
Cara and I hold each other for several minutes. I can hear her soft weeps spill onto my dress, some bland white thing.
“C’mon don’t be like that.” I crouch down to her level. “I’m coming home.”
“But you don’t know that.” She cries.
“I do. I promise, why would I ever leave you guys behind?” I’m trying my best not to let Cara’s tears get to me. Right now I’m more worried for her than me, because comforting other people always makes me feel better.
Peacekeepers break through the mahogany doors. They drag me out, but I don’t put up a fight. I’m ready to go to the train.
“You have to try Sasha!” I hear Cara’s mangled scream before the doors shut behind.
Zelos and I board the train together. It’s a short walk from the justice building to the train but the Capitol’s first glance at the newest tributes from district six is not to be taken likely.
Our tribute is a man, he won his hunger games when I was a little girl, that much I can remember. But he doesn’t resemble himself, from his first debut. Like half of district six he’s a morphling now. He tells us his name and tells us his name but I don’t bother to learn it. He walks out and tells us he’ll be in the other cart taking a nap.
It’s just me and Zelos now, it’s finally have time to confront him. My arms instinctively fold and my amber eyes glare him down. “Why?” I ask.
He doesn’t say anything for awhile, he only picks out food from the cart. I wouldn’t blame him, lot’s of people don’t have enough food to eat. It’s not as bad as it is in twelve though, it’s no comparison really.
“You know why.” He finally speaks.
“I don’t honestly.” I hesitate for a moment before what I say next. “You know what you did was pretty fucking stupid. One of us is dead for sure now, probably both of us will be dead in the bloodbath!”
“I won’t let that happen to you. That’s why I volunteered.” Zelos tells me.
“You idiot!” What he did was unacceptable, even if he was concerned with my wellbeing. He just ruined his.

Personallity: Connor is EXTREMELY psychotic. He sees tourture as fun and he adores death (the more painfull the better). He is a complete wild card making alliences and breaking them when ever he wants (even if it dosent benefit him and infact ruins his possition). If he ever faces certain death he will feel imence joy. He has no fear of death and will do what he wants when he wants. His emotions are uncontrolable (he only feels in extremes)
Appearence: He is incredibly attractive ( eventhough he dosent care for his appearence). He has emerald eyes and red hair.
Backstory: Ever since his mother died at birth people have been saying that he was spared because death loved him. This would'nt have supprised him since as long as he can remember hes loved death. He as a kid loved to torture and kill animals. And many rumors say hes killed people too (though it hasent been proven). He dreams of going to the hunger games and having a valid excuse to kill so he dosent have to hide it.

As you requested, here is Alara's family. I realized it would have been easier for me if I had given her only three siblings, but I ended up creating all five of them and her father, since I enjoyed it so much. However, I made her siblings descriptions unusually short, seeing how they are no tributes, I hope that is not a problem. Now I realize why I never submit whole families in a fanfiction
Sorry, for the younger siblings looking quite rushed, but I figured that District 7 will be in one of the upcoming parts, so I hurried with them.
Name: Quentin Morrow
Age: 43
District: 7
Personality: Quentin appears to be an apathetic and uncaring man. He has a foul mouth and a nasty temper towards anyone who gives him a bad time, but even though he might act rude and intimidating, he is also a bit cowardly and usually backs off once someone fights back against his rude behaviour. He is also a heavy alcoholic and when he is drunken he usually has little problems with beating someone up. After the suicide of his wife, he got extremely bitter and blames himself for her death and Alara's alienation. One of his redeeming traits would be that he loves his family, but ever since his wife died he has a hard time showing it. He mainly keeps to himself, often ignoring his children for days, especially when he is drunken. Without the guidance of his wife, he is completely overwhelmed with raising six children. Sometimes he even yells at them, but he would never hit them. Still, he doesn't trust himself that he would never hit them and as a result he tends to alienate himself even more from his children, especially when he is drunken. From time to time, especially when he is completely sober, his old personality shines through. In these rare moments, he is a caring and friendly man, though these moments never last. He is proud of every single one of his children, especially Alara, on whom he relies heavily, but he has a very hard time showing this.
Appearance: Quentin is 6 feet tall and since he has been working as a lumberjack his whole life, he is quite muscular. He also has a wolfish and handsome face. A few years ago he was an attractive man, but seven years of being a heavy alcoholic took a toll on his body. Nowadays he looks very unhealthy, with a short, unkempt beard and messy dark brown hair that shows early signs of grey. His light brown eyes are the same colour as Alara's, but instead of her fierce look, he looks mostly sad and sullen.
Backstory: Quentin was born into one of District 7's poorer families, working as a lumberjack like his father before him. In his youth, he was admired for his strength and fierceness. He often got into fights and loved to beat other people up. For a short time, he even considered volunteering as a tribute. Luckily, he never went through with this. One day, as he was working late as he witnessed a young woman about to commit suicide. He talked her out of it and they got into a long talk. He found out that her name was Firna and that she was about to end her life because of a severe depression. He was immediately smitten by her and after countless tries, she finally reciprocated his feelings. The two got into a very loving relationship and had six children together. However, Firna's depression proved to be too severe for her too handle. Shortly after the birth of her youngest child, seven years ago, she took her own life. This crushed not only Quentin, but also his children. For a long time he didn't saw how much it affected them, only thinking of himself. He started to drink heavily and relied on his oldest daughter Alara to raise the other children, which heavily alienated her from him. When he realized this, he thought it was too late to change it. To this day, Quentin lives his life in deep regret and self-pity, though his alcoholism also boosted his violent tendencies.
Name: Ivy Morrow
Age: 14
District: 7
Personality: Ivy is a stern and very serious girl, who is mostly soft-spoken and silent. She knows the heavy burden that lies on her sisters shoulders and tries to help her the best she can. This leads over the fact that she isn't nearly as strong as Alara is. She is deeply affected by the loss of her mother and the condition of her father and often tries to get Alara and Quentin to reconcile. This usually fails because of Alara's stubbornness. Ivy is deeply afraid of her or one of her siblings getting reaped
Appearance: Ivy looks strikingly like a younger version of her mother, with a pretty face and long dark-brown hair, of which she is very proud of. She has great pride in her appearance.
Backstory: Ivy is Alara's younger sister and Cortex' twin sister. Her mother died when she was seven years old and Alara took care of her. She was never as free-spirited as many of her siblings, preferring to stay at home and helping her father or her older sister with simple tasks, like cooking. She often tries to get her father and older sister to reconcile, usually assisted by her twin brother.
Name: Cortex Morrow
Age: 14
District: 7
Personality: Like his twin sister, Cortex is soft-spoken and silent. Unlike her, he is dreamy and often thinks about living in the capitol, or in the winner's district. He is far more naive than Alara or Ivy and doesn't see the gap that exists between his father and his oldest sister. He has a strong sense of family.
Appearance: Cortex looks a lot like his mother, with a soft, feminine face for which he is often mocked. However, he is also muscular like his father, with the light-brown eyes that are typical for his family
Backstory: Cortex is Alara's younger brother and Ivy's twin brother. His mother died when he was seven years old and Alara took care of him. He has the best connection to his father, often spending hours trying to get him to do something. He still remembers his father how he once was and sees a lot of his earlier behaviour in Alara's current behaviour. He dreams of winning the Hunger Games one day, so that he and his family could life in the victor's village.
Name: Cedric Morrow
Age: 12
District: 7
Personality: Cedric is a free-spirited and independent boy who greatly resembles Alara in his personality. He is friendly, snarky and unlike her, he is always genuinely light-hearted. However, he also believes that he is very strong and often brings himself into bad situations, in which he relies on his sister to get him out of it. He shares her love of the nature and greatly idolizes her.
Appearance: Cedric is tall for his age, but very thin and underfed. Like his siblings, he has dark-brown hair and light-brown eyes. He greatly resembles his younger father, having a handsome, but quite wolfish face.
Backstory: Cedric is the younger brother of Alara, Ivy and Cortex. He was mostly raised by Alara and barely remembers his mother anymore. Alara is his favourite sibling, a feeling that is mutual. She often took him out into the lush forests of District 7, showing him the nature of the district, teaching him songs and telling him stories. He idolizes his sister and like her he has a very low opinion on his father. This year is his first year in which he has the chance of getting reaped and he is very nervous about this.
Name: Amber Morrow
Age: 9
District: 7
Personality: Amber has been mainly raised by Alara, a fact that is directly visible in her behaviour. She is wolfish in her behaviour, fiercely independent and comes off as very bratty for her age. She loves her family, but keeps her distance to them, imitating her father as much as she imitates Alara.
Appearance: Amber resembles a younger version of Alara. She is wiry and lean, a bit underfed and shares the Morrow family traits of dark-brown hair and light-brown eyes, but it is apparent that she also got her mother's good looks.
Backstory: Amber is the younger sibling of Alara, Ivy, Cortex and Cedric. Like Cedric, she was mostly raised by Alara, but unlike him she never had a very close relationship to her older sister, preferring to keep to herself. She often explored the forests of District 7 on her own, without her sisters guidance.
Name: Ava Morrow
Age: 7
District: 7
Personality: Ava is a genuinely sweet and innocent girl. Since she does not remember her mother or her father's old behaviour, she had no problem adapting to the new situation. She is friendly and polite towards anyone, always seeing the best in people. She loves her family very much.
Appearance: Unfortunately Ava got a great part of her appearance from her father. While his rugged and wolfish looks would look great on a boy, they give her a very plain appearance and nobody would call her looks cute or pretty. However, she makes up for it by a naturally sweet smile and her innocent nature. She keeps her dark-brown hair short.
Backstory: Ava is the youngest sibling of Alara. Her birth was very complicated and her mother took her own life shortly after this. This came as a shock for the rest of her family, but thanks to Alara, Ava grew up quite well so far. She grew up as the families sunshine, often helping wherever she could, despite her young age. Even her father is very fond of her and she has by far the best connection to him.
I had indeed a lot of fun creating them
However, I found it hard to give each of Alara's siblings a unique personality, seeing how I rushed them for the case that District 7 would be the next to get reaped and given that it is very late in my timezone and I'm quite tired. I hope they are not too bad.
