First he went on reddit before the s3 release and advertised the 42 starting points as if choices would matter and Clem would be shaped entirely by your choices. When the first two "episodes" actually came out, i called him out on the fact that nothing except the season 2 ending mattered and he gave this weak ass bullshit reply of "The season isnt over, wait and see! The Carver choice will matter! Hope you keep playing!" which I dont have a choice because I had faith in them and bought the season pass.

Basically advertised starting points, they didn't matter for the start of the game for the first two episodes, it was all basically bullshit about choices mattering so we would buy into the premiere. Then he has the balls to say "wait and see the rest of the season" when we now know thanks to Melissa that they haven't the foggiest idea where the season is going so hes just stringing fans along with complete nonanswer and no accountability.

I can give links if you want but it's just insufferable.

Kevin lying and bullshitting me on reddit Wait wut? I am not aware of this. Explanation/summary please?

  • I'm talking about that David would have been like a strict emperor that ran his empire as a model of Rome. This means that he wouldn't be a good guy like Rick as David is OK with killing a few innocents in a town during the process of conquering it. Yet he would have valid reasons for what he does.

"We're 2 episodes in, how do you know ?" Well, Kenny should have died in S1, I would say that his goals should have been clear already seeing as Clem was mentored by him. Oh wait, silly me, that didn't happen. That is another point in this season were I would have wrote things differently.

I didn't mind them, but I think what he was saying and I agree with, is puzzles required for story progression kinda feel monotonous after t

When people compare TWD with a Bay or Snyder movie, you sure know that something is wrong. Dead wrong.

If TWD does take a Bay approach can we at least get a scene with Bad Boys playing at the background?

    Please?

    At Telltale HQ

  • And don't forget when they are sentimental and speak about a certain thing they care about and than a action scene starts playing

Eh, this seems highly unprofessional to me. I know most people are like "yas gurl slay!" but the fact is that Telltale is paying her bill and continues to do so. Slandering them in public and airing their dirty laundry because she knows she has them by the throat as a fan favorite is a pretty crappy thing to do. Not that she's necessarily wrong in a lot of her complaints and I'm glad I know that they're floundering to put this season together because it validates a lot of my thoughts on it. But my opinion of her has lowered a bit.

  • edited January 2017

That didn't feel or sound like slander at all, that felt more like her telling people how it is without being too positive or too negative.

It's a far cry from how you'll find voice actors constantly flaunt over a game their working on without highlighting the cons and pros fairly.

  • Seemed pretty negative to me. It seems to me like she's frustrated about some things and decided to say it in a public manner because she knows it won't affect her. Which is her prerogative but I don't like it.

It feels stale coming from her. I doubt she's feeling any negative effects like we are.

I don't know, I guess "celebrities" don't inspire much feelings of camaraderie in me even if they play a character I like. She sounded bratty in that interview to me. I'm just glad to know that we were all right to be side-eying Telltale on how much effort they've been putting into this game. I also think it speaks to how they've done worse in all of their games compared to the past. They're not thinking things through, spreading out resources, juggling too much at once. They have nothing real in mind and are just winging it, thus they haven't had a good story in years.

So I'm grateful to Melissa for confirming that (though not really because she's saying nothing we didn't basically already know), but I have no growing respect for her for "bravely" speaking out.

  • I hate the fact that remaking/rewritting movies and/or games sometimes don't end up being successful.

It's going to be a complete clusterfuck. Already is, as a matter of fact. One of the main reasons I'd say are the writers. Episode 1 had eig

  • It would just feel wrong, but maybe I'd get used to it after a while, at least if they could manage to find one similar enough. Maybe it could work even better if they make her a lot older, her voice sounding different would just be natural then.

  • The thing that worries me about the carver choice mattering, amongst all the other bullshit, is that in the save creator, there isn't an option to say whether our Clementine watched the slaughter or not.

So now what? Do I pray they implement a question about it later for some reason, or play through seasons 1 and 2 again from scratch just to make sure this one choice is recongised?

They're probably doing this because it isn't selling as well as they'd hoped, despite the introduction of the classic Dark Haired Stubbly Man protagonist they probably thought would bring in new blood.

You know, I'm curious about how they'd do a Sam & Max game currently.

Would they go all the way back to their roots, puzzles and all? Or would they try to make it a hybrid of their current formula plus the gameplay of the originals?

    It's interesting to think about.

Celestia said:. I wish they return to Sam & Max after this Me too!

  • In a previous interview that they had recently after the success of Season 1 (or maybe it was the 2013 Reddit AMA?), they said that they would make a choice based game that resembled their modern titles if they made another Sam and Max or Monkey Island. However, I would personally hope they made it more of a hybrid.
