I doubt it, if they kill AJ that's just dumb. I want to see AJ grow a bit, Rebecca didn't go through all of that and Clem didn't take care of AJ for that long for nothing.

  • Telltale in interviews and statements Job's make are typically quite embellished so you can never really take what they say for any real value or credit.

  • Yeah, but they seem to be focusing more on AJ in Clem's story so far, so I doubt they'll just be like "haha guys he's actually dead, he was never alive! Pranked."

I can only say that if something's a big deal for you and they're not implementing your wishes, then perhaps it's time to move on from Telltale. That is what I'm doing. If I get to the end of S3 and see they've not fixed my issues with it, I'll simply be gone. I've warned them about it and well, that's enough.

PS: I hate the forum's verification system. It's enough to drive me away. I've typed in the letters correctly and even listened to the speech several times and it doesn't post. I get the 'invalid CSRF token' message. Not the first time this has happened either. (Using firefox, had to use chrome)

The forum shouldn't be asking for a code after 10 posts, have you tried clearing your cache/cookies and then logging out and back in again to see if that fixes it?

  • I don't know where else to put this so I am saying this here.

Because of this tweet, last night I dreamed that I was playing Episode 3. And I saw Clementine pointing her gun and shooting at Javier (I was seeing this from his perspective btw).

After a while Javier woke up with a wounded shoulder. He has been abandoned in a train station. He proceed to evade the walkers following him as he seeks shelters in one of the train huts and search for useful items.

  • I haven't, Ozzy. I'll try that if it happens again, as it seems to not be asking for a verification code anymore. Thanks.

I can't remember if she said anything. I am just very certain that this scene happened because Job said that a scene with Clem broke his heart. :)

And I don't even know why I have these dreams and that I remember them clearly enough. But I am sharing them as it is as close to getting some news. And it is fun.

  • Well that's a dialogue option, while it wouldn't matter to me as much as major choices it does slightly matter to me. As I'm gonna pick one of those options based on how I see Javier's personality.

  • Telltale definitely takes fan input into account as they develop future eps and titles -- I suggest posting on the forums.

They don't. I've been saying it time and again, and there still AREN'T ANY RAPTORS IN TWDG!

    enter image description here

Where the fuck are my raptors Telltale!? YA ALL CRAZY!

Just think of how valuable they'd be the team with their high intelligence:

  • Well most of the choices I made were out of a desire to not kill as I believe killing is wrong so what you can take from that is that Javi has the same belief. He didn't kill Rufus (I think that's his name? The guy driving the truck) because he believes that you shouldn't kill people if you don't have to. He told Tripp the truth about what Clementine did because she killed man and that could've easily been avoided. He accepted Conrad's plan not because he thought it was a good plan or because he didn't care about Clementine, but because he didn't want to kill him.

He's also really trusting, moral and does what he can to protect others. You can see that because he obeyed Badger's commands in an attempt to save Francine.

Those are his values, personality wise I play him really playful and happy. I decided to stay the night in the junkyard rather than keep moving because Javi wants to live and be happy rather than focusing all his energy on trying to survive. Of course being smart and making decisions based on survival is important, but that's just not how my Javi thinks.

That's it. Not really sure why you asked me that.

  • Tellate should hire you man

  • It could be the length of episode one and two combined and I'd still only consider it to be an average length

  • I just think it's funny that they expected Javier to be the star in everyone's eyes, but in reality everyone wanted Clem. Like what did you expect lol.

When the choice results are that lopsided, it's pretty clear who to promote lol. I did notice their twitter and FB accounts started using pictures with a major focus on or only Clem shortly after launch, though.

  • And since we have a character named Jesus in the game, it's still unbelievable we don't have any fucking raptors yet.

"I suggest posting on the forums."

Really, because the biggest topics on the forums between Seasons 2 and 3 were:

    1. Episode lengths: People were already upset over the 90 minute episodes, considering how long Season 1's were (most of which were over 2 hours). They wanted to see longer episodes with more content.
    2. Choices: Season 1 is one of the best handled games when it came to our choices, the story didn't change dramatically, but we really saw how our relationship with people changed and had long term effects. Season 2 was lacking in that, and people wanted to see our choices have more of an impact throughout the season.
    3. More hubs and exploration: Again, something Season 2 was lacking that people wanted more of. While I often give it some flack, Amid the Ruins had the most exploration of any episode in Season 2, and yet that episode was still 90 minutes, it proves that they can have that kind of stuff in these type of episodes. Most people also loved the hubs in What We Deserve, and thought it was a good sign of whats to come for Season 3.
    4. S2 Endings: This was the most talked about thing by far, we wanted to see our endings have an impact on the next season if Clem was involved. Most fans knew that it wouldn't eventually matter and all of the endings would eventually meet up again, but we were hoping to see how each specific one played out.

So what did they do with Season 3:

    1. Even shorter episodes
    2. Choices still not having much of an impact
    3. Even less hubs and exploration
    4. 3-5 minute flashbacks that only affect Clem's physical appearance, not her mentality or personality.

Yeah, shows how they really listen to their forums.

Sweet! Looking forward to more info next month. Although I think this should have been put into the Episode 3 waiting thre-Oh that's right, it was removed because it was a just a barrage of insults toward telltale staff, and all around negativity, despite waiting threads being made for people who at least like what's happening in the series.

  • 3-5 minute flashbacks that only affect Clem's physical appearance, not her mentality or personality.

Oh, but don'cha know? The chart says a female's physical appearance is her mentality and personality.

I think it should be mandatory that the writer has to sit down and watch all previous episodes of all previous seasons before they begin to write.

  • Who ever said that they didn't?

  • Try being a pessimist.

When you expect the worst, you're never disappointed, just sometimes pleasantly surprised.

Not true, having your expectations turn out to be fictitious is a horrible feeling
