The episode was too big which why it was split. One of the most memorable lies anyone could tell.
42 Different start-points because somehow management thought they could pull of this kind of number. It'd already be stretching the truth if it were more than 6 starting-points.
Clementine is a main character and is the playable protagonist along with Javier.
The 42 starting points thing was crazy. I was skeptical about it as soon as I heard it but man imagine if it was true. Now that would be amazing. Wonder where they got the number 42 from.
They counted every decision of Season One and Two and the minor differences they caused. And every combination counts as one "starting point", even though none of this really matters, neither does it create a "unique Clementine".
Cutting the first episode into two because "otherwise the episode would've been too long". Garbage.
On paper, there might be 5 episodes now. But Season Three/ANF actually has only 4 episodes.
"ANF is the worst game that has ever been made."
That the Kenny and Jane choices were going to effect S3 and also how "our" Clem would be different.
That episode 1 was too big so they had to split it in two.
Combined they were shorter than pretty much every TWD episode so far.
Telltale got double the money for the same amount of content. They didn't even bother renaming episode 2, its just "Ties That Bind: Part 2"... how cringey and unprofessional.
"This will be the biggest season yet"
"This will be the shortest season yet." *
Choices matters
The biggest lie is that ANF is a 5 episode series. It actually has only 4 episodes.
"Insert character here" Will remember that.
Even 2 would have been good enough, she could have either been selfish and cold if you pretty much took the Jane path "aka the Clem we all have in season 3 now", or caring and protective if you always tried to do the right thing in season 2.
But no, Telltale was too busy rewriting everything 5 times...
"So... we don't have enough content to fill 5 episodes this season... I guess we'll make a shorter game this tim-"
"Wait! I have an idea!"
Worst thing is that it seems that it worked. Beside here, I don't see a lot of people calling them out. In a way, GG Telltale.
The story is tailored by how you play. Every Telltale game since the first season of Walking Dead has told this lie. (Well, except for maybe episode 6 of Game of Thrones and Episode 3 of ANF.)
Probably either they had to split it into two because it was too big or that no character takes a backseat. Both cause me to laugh and feel aggravated at the same time.
I remember playing S1 and going "oh hes gonna remember that,oh snap" and it actually was significant or "blank noticed your action" now its just done to fit in the vibe of a telltale game smh
"We listen to your feedback."
That our decisions will destine Clementine's fate in the No Going Back trailer
I gotta be honest-- ANF, for all its faults, sure as shit doesn't make it to the "worst games ever" list.
I mean, was ANF so terrible that it contributed in a large part to causing the video game industry to crash? Did it tank so badly that it killed the company that made it within mere months/weeks? Was it so bad that more copies were returned than were sold? Is it so shitty that it became a cult classic comparable to The Room for being so bad that it's entertaining? Is it so shameful that it is practically a prerequisite for how to not make a game? Was it such a blunder that you had so many unsold copies, you had to bury them in a fucking landfill? No? Then sorry, but it doesn't get the honor of worst game ever.
Disappointing? Fair enough. Bad? Fine. But worst ever? That's just pure hyperbole, or you're someone that has somehow managed to not witness the absolute worst video games have to offer.
42 clementines
Your S2 ending will be important...
"Here we see Clem and Javy walking in a slaughterhouse..."
really hoping they somehow prove me wrong
They got reeaaal lazy is what we got...
Haha amen to this!
It makes the list for me regardless if it sells well and whatever. There's nothing this once great company could do to make me change my mind
Yes!!! Definitely this! How many times have they pointlessly added "so and so will remember that" and they fucking don't! It's never referred to again. Also i still laugh when they add that to a character who seconds later dies. "So and so will remember that...for the next 5 minutes"
Favourite lie? Like everything they say is bullshit. Tattletale have been lying for years and I don't believe their shite anymore! Biggest season yet and Ep1 was too big to fit into one episode" were the main 2 I really despise
So you say you would just prefer Aliens: Colonial Marines, Ride to Hell: Retribution and Superman 64 over this?
"Carley will remember that"
Gets shot 50 seconds later
They maybe wont prove you wrong by the look to javi's face in this pic he had no beard and I can't imagin him took it off with how the story is going right now so this screen shots are useless and they will never be in the game just like the first E3 2016 trailer.
400 Days' choices will have A BIG REPERCUSSION in S2
I can't tell if people are picking up on my sarcasm or...?
Dude, you better get up and see Bill. He doesn't like to wait. So... you should probably go.
Just imagine if you missed out on lines like that!
Haha all games i have never played anyway so I can't judge but Im sure those games were actually "games" and not 90% sitting back and watching/choosing dialogue throughout
Job saying we hear your feedback we really Do ._. -_-

The butterfly effect in S2E3!
Those weren't games, those were garbages pretending to be games.
