  • Ben's encounter with the bandits wasn't scrapped. It's just not described in detail in the final version. And we all know the bandits are rapists anyway thanks to Jolene (I love how the wiki doesn't list raping and probably killing her daughter as one of the bandit's crimes)

yeah, but we know that joan/clint were SUPPOSED to be in the episode due to the leaks, but there's no indication that Max was ever gonna show up again, despite being a fairly prominent antagonist for the first three episodes.

Gotta love those lingering remnants of scrapped ideas. Yeah, at least for the sake of trivia or if it can still be worked in somehow

Do you think this game was secretly directed by Michael Bay?

  • In Season Two, what happens when Clem gets shot by Arvo but Bonnie died in the lake and you shoot Mike? Does she just pass out and Arvo runs?

  • What does Gabe say if Conrad is alive in episode 4? How does he still get Eleanor pissed at you?

  • Like father, like son huh

Gabe says something about needing an extra hand moving the truck since Conrad is "leaving".

Eleanor still gets pissed at you regardless. It's stupid.

  • Gabe: Wanting to impress Clem if she were to ever return, Gabe is practicing his awesome parkour skills by jumping across Richmond buildings. He trips on a ledge and plunges into a horde of walkers, never to be seen again.

May I ask why walkers have to be involved with that one? Hell, Richmond shouldn't even have walkers at that point and fuckin up at Luke's old favorite game is plenty lethal on it's own.

Kate: If you agreed to start a family with her, she dies of pregnancy issues. If you rejected her, she kills herself since she feels alone.

  • I believe so, given shooting Mike is the one of the times him shooting Clementine makes sense, but I don't think the Mike option is even replicatible.

She gets pissed, because she wanted to live in Richmond under Joan's dictatorship rule because the walls in Richmond are comfortable but apparently Javi and his hispanic street gang ruined all that. She also forgot that The New Frontier were the ones who destroyed her home and killed nearly all of her friends.

She also gets even more pissed off if you shot Conrad or if Tripp dies. So pretty much she's mad at you no matter what.

So let me just say this... FUCK. ELEANOR.

So like she's just pissed at you out of the blue? "JAVI GO FUCK YOURSELF I HAVE NO REASON TO BE MAD BUT I MUST BE PISSED TO FURTHER THE PLOT JUST BECAUSE"

  • I straight up told that bitch to fuck off, I'm surprised at how many people forgave her.

Gabe simply mentions that Conrad being out/dead means they'lll need an extra hand to pull of the plan.

Meanwhile, Eleanor doesn't really get mad, per say: her issue is that they're not listening to her more peaceful plan and deciding to go through with rolling up on Joan and taking her out at a public hearing. She both wanted to capitalize on the fact that the people of Richmond trust and appreciate her to try and get them a place in the city, as well as prevent as many unnecessary deaths as possible.

If you didn't kill Conrad, her tone when Joan singles her out in more hesitant and uncertain, suggesting she at least still has reservations about screwing over the mission. Unfortunately for everyone, David's "hearing" turned out to be an execution, Joan had Ava and Tripp captured while they scoping out the area(hence Ava getting cut off after discovering the plan), and David/Javier attacking Clint/Joan in retribution for whoever Joan killed to prove a point caused a shootout and eventually a breach that killed several people.

What does Gabe say if Conrad is alive in episode 4? How does he still get Eleanor pissed at you?

It does if they single them out determinately: leaving with Kate has her help escort Javier to the Councilors and she more or less takes Ava's place when she hears what's going on with Joan/David's raid and leaves in disillusionment.

I'm sorry, I think there are some real legitimate problems with this season, but none of them have to do with background mooks.

  • Yeah, the tragedy of poor communication between teammates. Joan(and possibly Clint, depending on if Eleanor was included in his deal) screwed everyone over by trying to execute David after turning the people against him, had Ava and Tripp captured while they were scouting to kill one to teach Javier a lesson, and David/Javier ends up attacking one of them, setting off a shoutout anyway.

  • Honestly, I think she was just caught up in the moment and just didn't care about the consequences, especially since she had already framed up David and deemed them accomplices.

  • I Just remembered to ask this now, but why does Clementine leave Richmond with no supplies? All she has is a gun and a knife so what about food etc?

  • actually, i thought about it and might have to say gabe's outburst. the devs used the fact that he is hotheaded in order to justify this, but it was just horrible writing. gabe is so against violence in episodes four and five, yet in episode two, he puts a gun on conrad and tells javi to shoot him. it just made the writing seem so inconsistent, and if the original writers stayed, gabe would've probably been pro-shooting joan, more violent, and wouldn't have had the outburst.

  • I'd have to go with David fighting you no matter what. I played the entire game pro-David/anti-Kate and this fight basically said that none of those choices matter. Even the way he brings it up feels so forced as if the game was expecting everyone to date Kate.

The other ones you mentioned were really bad (though Nick's 2nd death was much worse than his first one). For me, Sarita getting killed at the start of EP4 if you cut her arm off was one of the worst implemented moments. It basically threw away your choice at the end of EP3 just so Kenny could get mad at you.
