Honestly, the fact that they were alone in the quarantine for so long and Clementine had nothing much to say about what Conrad does afterwards kinda makes it irrelevant anyway.
Though I will say the lack of interaction between them after the deal was made is a definite disappointment.
Yeah, Conrad was an asshole, I'm glad I shot him. The way he treats Clem after you accept his plan is horrible, and he didn't even apologize to her about it. What a fucking scumbag.
I'll say it again, she should be punished and educated, I didn't say no! But do not talk to her like that, say the word "ass" to the girl barely at the age of 13, that's wrong.
It's 4 years into the apocalypse at this point. Everyone regardless of age should be well capable of handling being cussed out. I could understand if we were talking about Sarah whose a special case.
I believe you had a misunderstanding of the statement and took it too literal. Conrad meant as in "banning" her similar to how she was kicked out of new frontier.

She was responsible for bringing the militia that destroyed everything he had, and she used to be part of that militia. For all he knew, her story was a lie, too. I think we can let a curse word slide in that situation.
After she pointed the gun at him and pulled the trigger, causing him to flinch and mutter his disbelief before going on the offensive. Him acting like a drunk cheapskate doesn't erase the fact that she was overreacted.
We're not even talking about him here, though. Go say your piece in the appropriate thread.
You do know, he said "Kick her ass out" as in banishment, not something else.
I love Clementine, but why can't she get tugged, yelled at, and cussed at when she makes a dumb mistake, she isn't a queen.
I don't know how you think Conrad saying to another man "I thought you kicked her ass out" regarding Clem after she (accidentally) murdered another man is the end all be all to their characters. You don't like how he has her by the arm? Who cares? She murdered somebody, the fact no one killed her up to that point is kind of shocking to me.
In Clementine's defense here, you wouldn't use a pistol unless you really had to. We saw her kill a Walker with a knife just moments ago, it's not crazy to think she never had to use her handgun up to that point. She's smart, she can use a knife well.
The fact that she acted like the jam outside the gates was the first time it happened, for one thing. I seriously doubt she never would've tested the bullets during her journey when I'm pretty sure a pistol is still quieter than a shotgun.

So, I have read all the comments and I'm a bit confused. This thread is about how tripp was holding clem with both hands? and Conrad saying to tripp, "I thought you kicked her ass out" ?
So, if we go back a bit, outside the gates Clem's gun missfired. She assumed from that that all bullets are faulty, that's her first mistake. She walks to Eli and points the gun at him and pulls the trigger. Second mistake, the second bullet is faulty as well. Eli (now pissed off that a teenager is pointing a gun at him and pulling the trigger) defends him self. Javi get's in the way and gets stabbed. Eli loses the fight, he is pushed back on the chair. Now he want's everyone to calm down. But clem is pissed off thinking that eli ripped her off, points the gun again and pulling the trigger. Thinking that the bullet is yet again faulty, this time shoots him.
Now, if they were living in everything its great lala land. This would all be fucked up. But its apocalypse, everyone outside of the walls is a potential enemy out to kill clem. (of course not only clem, but we are talking about her so going with it). Clem being a pissed off teenager thinks the best way to demonstrate that the bullets are faulty is to point the gun at eli and pull the trigger. I understand her, not saying it's right though. Would also like to point out that when eli dies, Clem is surprised and somewhat scared and tells Javi to lie for her. This shows that it was not Murder (premeditated killing) but an accidental killing. She did not mean to harm Eli, just to scare him.
What Tripp did was totally ok. He made sure Clem can't escape. And Tripp did kick them both out but because of what happens to Kate, Javi goes back to prescott to get his family. And because of the deal between Javi and Clem, She is back there too. Conrad saying "I thought you kicked her ass out", where is the problem really? Clem shot a man in Conrads place, he is pissed off. I don't see anyone else watching their words around the teenagers. To be honest, if the walkers weren't outside the gates, I could see conrad getting the shotgun, shooting Clem, and being like. One less troublemaker.
Of course you'll blame Clem because she's the problem child. Whether you like it or not, it's disgusting how adults behave toward Clementine who is barely at 13.

It was completely an accident. When you didnt covered for Clem, game will say that you told the truth. She was shocked as well which could mean that she didnt do it in the purpose.
Any harsh treatment Clem got was completely justified. I mean she killed a man and no one is to blame but Clementine for that. Sure you coul… mored pull the "It was an accident!" card but she didn't accidentally aim a gun at his head and pull the trigger. And Tripp was pretty damn generous.

Conrad "I thought you kicked her ass out".
Most of people: "You are fucking asshole Conrad. You want to exile a girl just because she had… more caused problems in your community".
Later on
Gabe: "Could you guys stop making such a big deal about it?"
Most of people: "You are a fucking asshole Gabe. I hope I can kill you".
A lot of people hate Conrad for wanting a problematic girl out of his home, but want to do the same for Gabe. That's a bit hypocrite.
Note: you don't have to answer and tell me that you didn't do what I wrote above. You know what you did.
I hope everyone realizes that your Clem's behavior/actions and reasons for them are based on what Lee taught her and how you acted in SSN 2. That makes the discussion moot due to most clems being completely different from yours. My Clem was justified and yours may not be; it depends on the perspective of each person.
P.S. My Clem is the Queen of all she lays her eyes on & I'll kill anyone who gets in her way for any reason. All hail Queen Clementine!
This reminds me of something Charles said to Lee on the train...
"You gotta consider her a living person, that's it! You're either living or you're not. You ain't little, you ain't a girl, you ain't a boy, you ain't strong or smart, you're alive."
—Charles to Lee Everett about Clementine's survival.
Maybe telltale had this in mind when they made Conrad's remark.

There is actually no difference. My Clementine shot Eli just as yours did, with the same dialogue, facial expressions, and emotions. Our Clems are exactly the same in that scenario. It's universally unjustified for Clementine.

Can't you see? I took a microscope and zoomed in on the pixels on the screen when the scene happened and noticed that there were 42 pixels that had their color codes changed by an increasing amount of 1 in hexacode depending on your outcomes in season 1, 400 days, season 2, and Michonne!

How tf did she get punished she was in cell for a night and then released she was lucky her ass wasn't hanged.

For some reason, I had a weird flashback to the scene where Kenny beats Arvo but with Sarah being the former instead.
Clem is plenty mature enough, she can handle it. And saying ass to a child is not traumatizing at all.

How do you even misinterpret that?
Like Tripp originally being a guy who hangs people from the deleted audio lines
Sometimes I think these people are trolls since they can't grasp a simple concept
Thanks to this thread, I now have a mental image of Tripp lining up his foot with Clementine's ass, and just punting her over Prescott's wall
Aw, finally putting that mass to any good use!

I suppose. Carrying multiple ways to fight is smart.
Especially if you stayed silent to Tripp and found out about certain unused concepts.
I don't have pic lol

So, what would be your solution the issues you don't like? I mean with Tripp and Conrad. I'm sorry if you already answered it and I missed it.

You know, people has spammed that so much to prove their biased point that I kinda squint whenever I see it.
Oh. Well, sorry to hear that.
Yeah that quote is completely ruined for me now.
