    Maybe it's because he's voiced by omid, so we got the nicest character playing a character trying to act really tough and nasty. It's kinda meta, if you think of Troy as putting on a tough guy act for Carver. I almost think that maybe Troy looks up to Carver as something resembling a father figure.

  • Like a part that sticks with me at the beginning of episode three, carver tells troy to tie up clem and sarah, he says "will do" in this silly evil growly voice. It really makes it look like he's acting the part.

    That was something of a theory back in the day too.

    And could have been interesting if he had seen what they did to carver...

    Though the possibility that he didn't made/makes his reaction to Jane's suggestion all the more noteworthy.
