My fighter in D&D is awesome when I can hit something.
My sorcerer was nice and happy. Then I was talked into multiclassing and now my sorcerer/duskblade's character sheet is a total clusterfuck, and I have more options in combat than I know what to do with.
Oh, and this thread was totally fixed last night, now it's all screwed up again, and this time I don't have any cause for it. I have an idea on how to fix it, but it would be long, tedious work, it would reset the number of views the thread has, it would piss a lot of people off while I was in the middle of it, and it may or may not work.
How is it I just now learn about the xbox quizes. It makes me sad when I miss those and now Im behind in the sweepstakes. Also. Why is the quiz so easy. I guessed every single one correctly.
I absolutely love this game. I'm trying to think of another in which the main villain's goal is to manipulate you into killing God.
That sounds an awful lot like the 'His Dark Materials' trilogy but in the trilogy, *Spoiler* the kids actually killed 'God'.
Of course, it doesn't distinctly say 'God' but instead is represented by a group known as the 'Authority'. The trilogy has occasioned some controversy, primarily amongst some Christian groups for this reason.
In fact, the author addressed this matter: "I've been surprised by how little criticism I've got. Harry Potter's been taking all the flak. I'm a great fan of J.K. Rowling, but the people - mainly from America's Bible Belt - who complain that Harry Potter promotes Satanism or witchcraft obviously haven't got enough in their lives. Meanwhile, I've been flying under the radar, saying things that are far more subversive than anything poor old Harry has said. My books are about killing God."
That ends our lesson for today. Be sure to study the assigned chapters for next week. Class dismissed.
The AI's are trying to get you to kill and or subdue AM who is pretty much God of the world exept he can't bring people back to life.
That doesn't work for me. Nobody worships or otherwise sees AM as a good thing. He's in control the way a God might be, but the active and obvious antagonism I think ends up not selling it to me.

He makes a bunch of robot villegers to worship him in Bennys story but there not real just somthing for his ego and to use to test Benny or w/e he was doing to the humans in that game.
EDIT
I know it wasnt the same its just the closest thing to what your said in my mind.

I bought that game nearly a year ago but haven't gotten around to playing it... to be honest I had somewhat forgotten about it
Thanks for reminding me, I guess... going to have to play this one someday soon, I have no idea what to expect other than I remember thinking it seemed like quite an interesting game back when I bought it.
So I host poker games in hopes that she'll come, smile whenever she's near, and cannot speak when she can hear. I move the bags to whatever side of the register she is nearest to, even if she is half way across the store, just to be that much nearer. I read her Facebook whenever I am feeling glum, and it cheers me up, yet depresses the hell out of me at the same time. I would do anything for her, but I don't know how. And she doesn't know me.
I mean, she knows who I am, but she doesn't know who I am. I hide whenever she is there.
The question is... How bad of a creepy stalker am I?
Homages aren't always played for humor. Considering none of the aspects of Citizen Brown actively makes jokes regarding the elements or tropes of these stories, "homage" is a far better fit than "parody". "The writers didn't want to actually do work" is even better, but I understand that's more than one word, which is well beyond the attention span American media has brought us up to have.
Something completely unrelated but do any of you sometimes find it odd how many people seemingly put so much weight on highly trivial things?
Such as having a little spot on ones sweater, or something of that sort... people often blow these things way out of proportion, in my opinion
My brain seems to work in quite a different way, I really couldn't care less about trivial things like that, even just spending a few moments thinking about this ends up boring me.
I wonder what it must be like to actually feel real emotions regarding such incredibly trivial and silly stuff.

I haven't played Citizen Brown yet, so I figured it *was* played for laughs. All I got from Guru's response was pedantry, a mistake that could have been avoided with a small explanation.
Haha, no. I was referring to the link in the 'A collection of classic adventure game ads' thread. This video is a related video to the 'Secret of Monkey Island' ad that I linked to. So, in order for you to stumble upon this '12 LucasArts Games in 24 Hours' video, you would have had to have clicked my link... unless this was all some incredible coincidence.
Also: it's just occurred to me that you're probably going to picture me as the guy from that video from now on...
Oh no, it's not that. The devteam even made a blog saying that they finally got back to work after the earthquake. If you're an Ace Attorney fan that was waiting for AAI2 though...

Yes. Yes you are.
Congratulations!
Very easily.
I suppose there isn't much I can say to that.
Ugh, way to ruin my day ;___;

Yes, to many tabs, and beyond!

Difference being? Most parodies *are* homages.

Advertising companies have picked up on this better than anybody.
