No, it's a reply to GaryCXJk's image. Look at the lower right, then continue wrapping around to the left.

At least I didn't mention the blood.

Aaah, that makes more sense. I thought it was rather unlike you to get all emo up in here. :p

I like that dream and imagination are found between dilemma and fear... that's quite nice.

To merely try suggests you don't always succeed.

    This dude?

In all seriousness, though, I know that feel. It's very exciting! I just know you'll have a blast.

NINJA EDIT: I just realized that, wow, there are a fuckton of Telltalers in long distance relationships.

Maybe it helps that we are adept at using electronic media to communicate. :p

It's still not ideal in some ways, like when I had a rough day yesterday and just wanted to crawl home to someone who'd hug me until it all went away. Had to make do with verbal reassurances as to my awesomeness.

I'm feeling a lot more confident about the whole thing now though. After my Peru trip, we'll likely never need to spend more than 12 days apart at a time. That seems perfectly doable.

I guess you just make it work for the right person. My life was pretty amazing before, but I can't remember the last time I was so excited about the next few months.

Sure, why not. At least ONE of us can be happy.

*glancing at hotel rates in NYC*

    ....ouch. ;_;

Parsons is the PERFECT FIT for Elwood. He's not Jimmy Stewart but HOLY WOW his take could actually be the first one for me to consider just as good.

Running my lappy through a HDTV My best friend kindly gifted to me.

Its a slightly larger screen. Doesn't look like an A4 peice of paper turned landscape like my laptop screen.

Has a much higher resolution as well.
Even though it was designed with 720p in mind, it does work with 1080p quite well.

All the games I've played with it look fantastic.
Hell, running zsnes with HQ 4x looks almost like the games were created today. So clean! :D

Had to set everything to 200% though as the text was tiny and almost unreadable! XD
    Its sort of better now.

Hooked up my wireless keyboard and mouse to it, and I may just stick my 360 controller on as well and play some PC games meant for it.

I have to keep an eye on temperature though.

    That'll do for now!

Yeah, we are in a pretty good situation. I also got clearance to work from the SF office about one day a month, which is enormously helpful. If that works out it means we can be together a bit of Thursday night, all of Friday night, and then all weekend until I leave late Sunday evening.

Bear in mind though that we will rarely get to see each other for a couple of weeks at a stretch like you and Comrade Mortis do. I'd love to take him home to meet my family and it'll be months before that's possible. Although on the whole I guess I prefer frequent weekends to infrequent longer visits, since we're both pretty busy during the week anyway.

This response inspired me to look up "emo" in Urban Dictionary, which was surprisingly entertaining. So, thanks for that! (No, I didn't read every single definition.)

My wife and I are talking about buying a house. We went to a realtor, and he gave us access to a database of houses that are for sale.

Among them, there is one house that we thought looked nice and was in our price range.... but it turns out it's only four houses away from my sister!

It'd help if you paid for airfare, a second ticket to the play, and let me stay at your place for the weekend. Otherwise no, it's not gonna help. ;)

See, I thought the avatar printout would be like an amulet sized portrait, yeah? Much too small.
