In all seriousness, though, I know that feel. It's very exciting! I just know you'll have a blast.
NINJA EDIT: I just realized that, wow, there are a fuckton of Telltalers in long distance relationships.
Maybe it helps that we are adept at using electronic media to communicate.
It's still not ideal in some ways, like when I had a rough day yesterday and just wanted to crawl home to someone who'd hug me until it all went away. Had to make do with verbal reassurances as to my awesomeness.
I'm feeling a lot more confident about the whole thing now though. After my Peru trip, we'll likely never need to spend more than 12 days apart at a time. That seems perfectly doable.
I guess you just make it work for the right person. My life was pretty amazing before, but I can't remember the last time I was so excited about the next few months.

I know those days. They're pretty lame. Still, good thing there's Skype.

Yeah, we are in a pretty good situation. I also got clearance to work from the SF office about one day a month, which is enormously helpful. If that works out it means we can be together a bit of Thursday night, all of Friday night, and then all weekend until I leave late Sunday evening.
Bear in mind though that we will rarely get to see each other for a couple of weeks at a stretch like you and Comrade Mortis do. I'd love to take him home to meet my family and it'll be months before that's possible. Although on the whole I guess I prefer frequent weekends to infrequent longer visits, since we're both pretty busy during the week anyway.
I thought it was rather unlike you to get all emo up in here.
This response inspired me to look up "emo" in Urban Dictionary, which was surprisingly entertaining. So, thanks for that! (No, I didn't read every single definition.)
Got back from interview with Electronic Arts... I have a good feeling about this, hope to get that job... REALLY hope. My work permit is not valid for an infinite amount of time, you know.
The poster cutout of Dashing, silly. I don't even want to think about where you were thinking it was going, but I find my mind being drawn to the subject anyways. Curses!

See, I thought the avatar printout would be like an amulet sized portrait, yeah? Much too small.

I don't quite understand your meaning, but I would like to.
I'm being all philosophical tonight.
No, it's a reply to GaryCXJk's image. Look at the lower right, then continue wrapping around to the left.
At least I didn't mention the blood.
ihop breakfast burger
verdict: no idea because it's dangerous to get between rather dashing and his burger
Aaah, that makes more sense. I thought it was rather unlike you to get all emo up in here.
I like that dream and imagination are found between dilemma and fear... that's quite nice.
Like this?
To merely try suggests you don't always succeed.
No, it just requires more effort some days.
Yes.
FINALLY.
YES.
Still love it.
Can't wait for the physical album to arrive in the post.
(So going to put it in a frame or something... )
You should introduce me. Yup.

I am excited! And nervous! And excited!
EDIT: Whoa, two cats from me on the same page. The internet needs better non-cat pictures.
This dude?

Haha, I guess I should give him a name hey.

It's shit like this that makes me wish I was still a New Yorker.
How about I just go, then come back and tell you how awesome it was?
*glancing at hotel rates in NYC*
....ouch. ;_;
Parsons is the PERFECT FIT for Elwood. He's not Jimmy Stewart but HOLY WOW his take could actually be the first one for me to consider just as good.
Done.
Attachment not found.
;_;
What do I want!?
DRAGONBALLS!!
When do I want them!?
NOW!!
Did they even name him in that movie? I mean, anything other than Lebowski.
That's probably it. Still, there's me, you, Avistew, [EXPUNGED], [EXPUNGED II, ELECTRIC BOOGALOO] and... probably others.
I know those days. They're pretty lame. Still, good thing there's Skype.
12 days!? LUCKY!
Its a slightly larger screen. Doesn't look like an A4 peice of paper turned landscape like my laptop screen.
Has a much higher resolution as well.
Even though it was designed with 720p in mind, it does work with 1080p quite well.
All the games I've played with it look fantastic.
Hell, running zsnes with HQ 4x looks almost like the games were created today. So clean!
Had to set everything to 200% though as the text was tiny and almost unreadable! XD
Its sort of better now.
Hooked up my wireless keyboard and mouse to it, and I may just stick my 360 controller on as well and play some PC games meant for it.
I have to keep an eye on temperature though.
Yes, Jeffrey. Big stretch.
I thought you said you wanted one of us to be happy! Although granted, you did not specify which one.
Would it help it I printed out your avatar and took it along with me? It would be almost like you're really there!
That'll do for now!

And I don't suppose that means they'll pay for travel.
So you don't eat pussy?!
I guess that's why I don't always succeed in not doing so.
Among them, there is one house that we thought looked nice and was in our price range.... but it turns out it's only four houses away from my sister!
What if she put a webcam and a tiny microphone inside?
Inside ...where!?
