I've just created an american account just so's I can download the trailer! lol. I think it'll be February for the actual game releasing. So it will be 1 behind the PC releases. Which isn't too bad really, but it would definately be nice to know now. Telltale have also got a press event or something in feb (according to twitter). So might hear about it then...

No, it does "768p", because the iPad has a 1024x768 resolution. But I think it still can't be counted as a HD resolution, since it's 4:3 (technically, 768p is really 1366x768)

Thats laughable when compared to the power of BTTF in 1080p on high on PC.
I highly doubt we'll see it next week. The second week of February would be awesome. I wouldn't pay much attention to the new game announcements at all if it Ep 2 was released in the 3rd week. The week of Valentine's Day would just be cruel (though it'll totally be worth it if they patch Ep 1)
I think Episode 2 will arrive in the last week of Feb, that way it gives them time to test this one out properly, work out any kinks and get a head start on Episode 3!

its so funny that MAC and PC people are waiting from DEC 2010 till FEB 2011 for episode 2 while PS3/IPAD will get it on Feb 2011 with episode 2 already there without waiting a month lool im happy at the same time and still waiting "plzzz no spoilers"

Those wondering about episode 2's release should count themselves lucky. Spare a thought for the ps3 & i-pad (would/should - be!!!) customers. Who still have no confirmed date, and ONLY THE U.S. store with any sight of any BTTF content atm.

If you bought it on the PC it won't work on the iPad, you have to buy the ipad version which will be available on the itunes store.

It's good. Runs perfectly at 1080p over here on my end. It's good but it feels...very incomplete.

Friendly FYI...it's not February 1st in America where Telltale is based. And since they said February, that doesn't automatically mean February 1st.
