I want to play this so bad cause i grew up on Back to the Future & live the trilogy, i think its the best trilogy of all time but why have we got no word yet on the PS3 version of it yet? I would really like to know PS3 release date so i can have money waiting on PS3. I have had $30 on PSN for 3 months but spent most of it cause i got tired of waiting.
Can we please please get some info when it will arrive on PS3.
TTG are having some sort of media event in February (i forget the date, 17th maybe) i've a feeling all will probably be revealed then. But this is only a guess...
so I don't mind waiting for my free game( even though I was prompted to download it but not able to even play it)
I am just wondering if anyone knows when will we actually get it in February?, telltale is just as bad as Nintendo ( its coming sometime in 2009, just sometime...wait December)
will we get it this week or when the next episode comes out? I have been trying hard not to spoil myself by looking up a youtube video

The official answer is, they don't know yet. You'll get an e-mail when it's ready.
I imagine it will be around the time, or just after the second episode is released (likely in the first half of feb, but that's just a guess on my part). It would make more sense for the free first episode to come out after the second episode is released because then people who finish the free game will have something to buy when they're done (provided they enjoyed it).
Thank you for your patience everyone. The free episode will be available on February 31st. In the meantime, feel free to purchase the first episode at anytime.
I've been to the future. I don't know why you're all so excited. Having played the full 5 episode season (and the REALLY crap Season 7!), TTG really messed up.
It's a case of them "jumping the shark". Due to huge pressure, they merged BTTF with Jurassic Park, Day of the Tentacle and Sam and Max. All the series became a disgusting nonsensical mess. Factor in the use of Marty teaching Chuck Norris to fight in reference to the fact Marty gave the idea of Johnny B Goode to Chuck Berry in BTTF1, the use of David Hasslehoff and a bunch of washed-up ex-Friends co-stars replacing AJ/Christopher Lloyd/etc in the voice cast and it's something that makes a rift in the space-time continuum look like a pleasant vacation at the Magic Kingdom.
I DID however like the fact that Episode 403 was set in the 1970s ... that Disco Doc dance sequence was pretty damn cool. But did we have to see him then travel forward to see George & Lorraine make out to create Marty? That perving scene was VERY disappointing. I will never hear 'Great Scott!' the same way again after hearing it come slowly out of Doc's mouth when he was hiding in George's closet.

This is THE most valid thing in this entire thread.
Any official news on the release date of episode 2 then? I can't be bothered reading through the millions of pages of waffle
No announcement of an Episode 2 release date for PC/Mac as of yet or Episode 1 for iPad and PS3, but those announcements are forthcoming. As an aside, the free episode of Back to the Future (Episode 1) will become available for download when Episode 2 goes live.

Are you guys at least sticking to a release date for Episode 2 sometime in February?

A definite month for other versions would be nice!
It's also somewhat disheartening that the eu store hasn't received any video/trailer content yet like the us store has for the past 3 weeks or so. No doubt pointing towards eu members not getting the actual game for an even longer time than the us. Please, let us all have it together the same week TTG

As far as I know, that's not the case. I think plans are in place to launch both versions at the same time. I'll check to make sure.

Assume February 28 and hope for an earlier release. But don't open senseless threads asking for a release date that doesn't yet exist!
Can we please please get some info when it will arrive on PS3.

No info.
My guess given how trailer/behind the scenes videos are being released would be in 1-2 weeks.

so will the PS3/IPAD version of episode 1 will come in February with episode 2??
Telltale tends to announce the release date a week before the actual release.
But it is coming out this month if that helps.
And Im glad you dont feel as big as of an idiot:D
Just keep on checking out the blog because it sounds like the release date is coming soon.
Read my answer two posts up.

Yes. Episode 2 will release this February.
Or as usual we should assume last week of the month and be pleasantly surprised if it's not? =P
Thanks for the quick reply Alan. I can't wait!

Cool. That would be greatly appreciated Mr. Johnson, my good sir:D
Go make a video game with fairly high res graphics and tons of dialog that needs to be recorded. Then you'll see how long it can take.
