Will there be ever the possibility to skip dialouges after a play-through? It's sort of annoying if you heard the same sentence 5 or more times and can't skip it.
I have only my right arm. I would dearly like to be able to remap keys to the numpad as it would mean that I no longer have to reach across my torso to access the control keys. (My desk is not designed to allow me to move the keyboard off to my right.)
Has Robert Kirkman decided who should be dead by the end of Season 1 ?
Knowing him, I'm more interested in knowing who survives, who dies and what not.
We've told Kirkman most of who lives and who dies. We've known for almost a year now. He didn't have a say exactly, but he knows the basic plan for who makes it out and who doesn't!
The last question answered by a team member in this thread was on the 1st, so my question is this... Where are you people? Did you all commit ritual suicide?
There is a new website on the way, and the internal servers were moved over to point at that site for a few weeks for testing. The crappy side effect was that most of the team ended up on a dev server, which doesn't host the live forums.

I'm sure you will let us know the second you get the ep 3 release green light, but are you authorized to tell us if TTG has heard anything from your certification partners yet? We are all chomping at the bit and I'm sure you TTG folks are as well.

I don't actually know the answer to that, at least not for all platforms, but I heard late last week that we had passed at least a couple of the different platforms/regions. My assumption is that that means the game has done alright though cert in general at this point. It's not part of my job to track all that stuff though, I'm sorry to say! I'm busy working on episode 5 at the moment.

What are the chances episode 4 and 5 might be monthly, just give us your best guess please.
Hey TellTale. I got 2 questions for you. #1: My cousin is staying at my house for the week and I let him play TWDG. I have both ep1&2 for xbox and he told me he wants to buy this game when it comes out, most likely he'll play ep3 at my house when I buy it so my question is when he goes back to his house hes gonna want to only buy ep4&5, is that possible to do and how will he be able to do it? #2: this one is game related. I was wondering if during the game will there be more than 2-way choices like where you have to pick a side in a threeway argument or try and save one person over two others? I think that will make the game even more intense. (on my phone.)

Could you please explain why you are unable or unwilling to add such a feature? I'm know you've had it in your previous games.
We've never had key rebinding in our games. We have supported the numpad for movement, but not including it in WD was an oversight. Its also unlikely to get patched in. (the downside of episodes being DLC instead of self contained apps is that the core underlying tech is harder for us to update.

Why don't you have an option to remap keys?
Actually, you can do it yourself if the developers are not supporting.

When is Episode 3 coming out for EU release? I live in the UK, so the latest blog post was a real disappointment for me when I read you only released the game in the NA region.
Could you please consider holding back in future until all regions can be released simultaneously as you did with platforms?
That would also make it lot easier for us in the EU to enjoy the game, too, without people who have already had a head-start in the game potentially spoiling the plot!

how about ttg give you a job dealing with all the complaints, bitching, moaning about having to wait even longer for eu... if you got an issue with the eu ps3 go buy it for xbox and or pc problem solved.

I don't know the EU PS3 release. What is on the blog is, I believe, the latest info.
We have people complaining on both sides of this. When we try to hold for a simultaneous release, people go bananas because we're holding the game. When we release when a given platform is ready, we get the people who have to wait coming out of the woodwork sad that other players get the game first. For instance...
Why do your paying customers on PC have to wait even longer while your free customers on PS3 get it now?
First up, to clarify: Episode 3 costs money on PS3. Additionally, those PSN customers who got episodes 1 and 2 "free" got it by paying for a service -- PlayStation Plus.
Beyond that, I believe either the PC version was done a little later than the console versions, or it was taking longer to be turned around within Steam or our internal QA. It wasn't held artificially to my knowledge. Sometimes things take a little longer, and we'd rather err on the side of giving a particular platform more time than to kick it out the door feeling like a bad port or something. We're primarily a PC based studio, both in what we develop on and what we play. I don't think there is a PC in this office that isn't logged into Steam at all times, with pretty fat personal game libraries on there. You can play the affronted PC gamer card here if you'd like, but I don't know if that's fair.
Thanks for providing the inspiration for another solution! CLOUD SHARING! (check Portal 2 on Ps3 for a reference)
I hope we can do cloud sharing in future titles. It was on the wishlist for the five episodes in this season but didn't make the cut. Cloud stored saves would be sweet.
Jake, you said you're working on Episode 5. Can you comment on the development status of Episode 4?
Do you anticipate the same delays that were associated with Episodes 2 and 3 ?
Also, just wondering if your team ever has colloquial interaction with the marketing or PR bunch...like at lunch or at a pub after work or something.
I don't know if I can speak to the status of 4, or predict how long it will take. I can say that we're getting better at this. We definitely know what it takes to make a Walking Dead episode now in ways we didn't before. I can also say that episode 4 is going to be a completely insane episode from what I've seen. Everyone is heads down on it right now but beyond that, I'm so involved in 5 that I wouldn't trust myself to predict its end point. When the ep 4 team knows, and the PR guys know, they'll do their best to tell folks their expected release date.
As for the marketing and PR guys, yes we talk to them often They are downstairs, the dreaded home of marketing, QA, the web team, and our only conference room big enough to fit the Walking Dead team, so that makes it scary! But yeah, Rich (one of our marketing dudes) goes to the Walking Dead leads meetings with regularity, we see Job and Alan often as well, and of course we talk about all the marketing assets which go out, and we all make Playing Dead together. Of course, it's not as easy as it was when the studio was tiny a few years ago, and everyone was within eye's view of each other in a single room, but I think the marketing and dev teams are more strongly connected than they are at many studios.
Do you fellers reuse the same zombie models? It appears so.
We have a bunch of separate zombie parts the choreographers can randomize to make unique zombies. We add new parts in each episode, but you're bound to recognise a few friends!

I meant a backstory for why he's in every episode. His epic zombie journey to harass our heroes again and again. Like that guy in Lord of the Rings movies who's a carrot-eating drunkard on the streets of Bree, rises to a soldier of Rohan but eventually sails with the Corsairs. That one needs a proper backstory too.
Backstory? He was on holiday, forgot to take off his hideous shirt, then the apocalypse hit. He follows our heroes around, because nobody has put him out of his misery yet. You would have thought that hawaiian shirt guy would be the first to go lol.
There was a zombie with a sweet hawaiian shirt. Other zombies grew jealous and would kill him, taking it as their own. There are four hawaiian shirts in all, and only the holder of the number 2 shirt can try to steal the shirt of the number one.

I wish we did, I'm sorry.
I'll handle this one.
No.

Check this utility out: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/map-any-key-to-any-key-on-windows-xp-vista/
It lets you map any key to any other key on your keyboard(system wide). Such utilities also exist for Mac, so you're not totally out of luck.
I was just wondering if you could tell me how to move my WD game with all its stats to a new Mac.
Cheers
Greig
Well, I guess that means no...

Why do you seem to think that console users got the game for free?
Two?

Hawaiian shirt guy gets around!
One day a dude put on a Hawaiian shirt, and then it was the zombie apocalypse.
He died as he lived: A boring dude with a loud shirt.
Godspeed fella...
I'd like to solve the puzzle.
Never noticed the Hawaiian shirt. I'm obviously not the most observant person around!
