I think in order for the "Telltale Guys" to release this game, they need some kind of incentive, so I propose a hunger strike. That's right. I pledge not to be hungry until this game comes out. I hope you can live with that on your conscience.
Settle down young'un, just 'cause your lyin' parents said your dog went to a farm(=July), doesn't mean the "Telltale team (guys") killed the game they have been working on for a long while. As stated before, patience happens to be a virtue, and I think we can wait a few days, weeks, or (hopefully not) months.

First: I think the "Telltale Guys" have an incentive...it's called money.
Second: "I pledge not to be hungry..." Um, isn't that the exact opposite of a hunger strike?
Hunger = The desire for food.
Strike = Refraining from something for a cause.
Hunger x Strike = Refraining from something x The desire for food = Refraining from the desire for food.

I mean... *something on topic*
Actually,
Hunger x Strike = Breatharianism/Krazy Kult Ideas.
I apologize. After conferring with my sources (Wikipedia), I have realized that a hunger strike is not what I initially thought it was. Instead of striking hunger defined as a desire for food, I was striking hunger defined as a shortage of food or the act of being hungry. Anyway, the hunger strike will not continue because I like food too much. Sorry for the inconvenience and the obvious burden this has been on your consciences.
Telltale Guys (TM), I know that there's probably non-disclosure agreements and the like keeping you from being specific about the current state of things, so could you please tell us, in general terms, if things are going well or not? Failing that, in even more general terms, could you at least tell us whether you think we should keep worrying like we are?
Fact #1: It has been said that Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive people will come out in July.
Fact #2: WiiWare games always come out on Mondays. That's just how it is. So it can be assumed that Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People will come out on a Monday.
Looking at these facts, we know that the release date will be either July 7, July 14, July 21, or July 28.
At this point, we've reached the iny miny miney moe stage. Using this, we can accurately hypothesize that the release date is July 14.

Yes, things are going great! The game is looking and playing fantastic. It's undergoing it's submission process. The last bits of polish on being put on to make the game as solid as possible. No need to worry, the game is still on track to release sometime this month!
I'm going to speculate that Telltale doesn't even know when this month the game will be released... According to IGN, High Voltage Software, which has been working on the WiiWare games Gyrostarr and Animales de la Muerte, was surprised to find their unannounced game V.I.P. Casino: Blackjack to be a WiiWare launch game. It seems as though there is now a series of games High Voltage hasn't told us about. That's part of why I say Nintendo is unpredictable. I don't know how the submission process varies for different developers, so never trust me when I say anything.
(You know, High Voltage seems kind of like the "Telltale Guys" in that they're both quite independent developers, often publishing their games by themselves directly to the end consumer.)
Daemon Hatfield from IGN who will be reviewing the game has said that Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People is his most anticipated WiiWare game coming (and one of his most anticipated games in general), and from what he's seen so far, it is very cool. He also saw Sam & Max for Wii which he said was also very cool.
I think I've figured out what caused the one-month delay. I think it did have something to do with Nintendo, but at the same time it doesn't involve cruel meanness or unpredictability on their part. Telltale probably submitted the game into Nintendo and they got a message back from Nintendo saying it was rejected, along with a list of required changes, so Telltale decided not just to implement those changes but to also add some fixes and polishing they didn't have time to implement when they had the June release date. The possibility of a second Nintendo-imposed rejection-delay would be a good bit slimmer but still real.
If this is the case, I can't help but wonder what elements weren't Nintendo-friendly. Perhaps some day Telltale can tell us what Nintendo had problems with.
Do all of you realise that every time someone asks when the game will be out or if there are any problems, Emily has to check on the current status? She reads a post and then takes a hike to the other end of the building were all the developers are stored...does this sound a bit like "photo lab" to you as well?...so, where all the staff involved in the development of the game are seated and ask them how they are doing. some of them will then stop developing for several minutes and tell her. sometimes they will even write about the progress of the game themselves, taking even more time.
so in conclusion: everytime you complain about the release date, it's like shooting yourself in the foot.:D
(okay, i'm sortof kiddin'. telltale staff members probably don't take any kind of breaks at all and post only in their free time, or else they wouldn't be able to create such marvelous games.)
Nintendo probably has a strict non-crap-policy. In that case probably over 50% of SBCG4AP would have to be censored.:D
These days, Strong Bad doesn't use the word crap any more. He thinks it's a tired old joke, which it is.
...which would result in repeated ironic uses of the word in the game that derive humor from the fact that it isn't funny. And then, of course, is the general likelihood of the use of the word 'crappy'. Nevermind.
your right, he hasn't used it in the last few years..except in the "specially marked" sbemail. he says "fitness-related crap" there. i haven't really noticed, since i use the random button a lot. i though he was only annoyed that people used it in their emails so much..
Maybe it's been delayed for this long because Nintendo needs to play through the entire game before they accept it, and the game is just that long.
Or maybe it's obscenely difficult.
Can you at least tell us something about the price? You know, all my WiiWare buyings are currently on hold until I know how many points I need to save for SBCG4AP.

"Of course we're working on Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People. It's just... been delayed until July."
July = farm
Telltale guys = lying parents
Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People = dead dog
Oh yes, the deceit here is unmistakable. Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People is dead, but they don't have the heart to tell us.
Even more conclusion jumping, HU-RAH!

Erm. *Shakes fist about the month of July being so far away*
You're sarcastic, right? It's July 2nd.

before next monday
(although technically it will be August by then for most of the rest of the world...)

...and they probaly got it from Voth on this thread?

actually
they probably got it froom a reliable source and not some poster on forums
If we haven't announced it, it's not official. Until you see it HERE, don't believe it. Or from Nintendo, I guess.
And now, the jumping to conclusions is over.We hope it's over.
Or maybe it's obscenely difficult.
i highly doubt its over.:D
