Kenny was right about everything

Kenny was right about everything and the obvious choice for my loyalty in that final decision between him and Jane. I liked Jane, but Kenny was absolutely right about her. She only gave a shit about herself. Let us count the ways that Jane was a selfish person who would abandon Clem to save herself if she had to. She tried to get me to leave Sarah in the mobile home, and not try to help her on the observation deck. She didn't even want me to try to save Luke on the ice lake. She called the baby an it, and seemed to want to just be rid of it because its a liability. She even sort of hinted to Rebecca that she should kill the baby rather than try to raise it in this world. Selfish and untrustworthy. It rubbed me the wrong way from the very beginning and I know I would not want to surround myself with people who only care about themselves during a zombie apocalypse. We have to keep our humanity intact.
Jane was just trying to use the baby (which could have easily been found and killed by walkers in that car if it started to cry) as an excuse to kill Kenny. Also imagine if the baby hadn't cried after Kenny killed Jane. The baby would have been lost forever thanks to that crazy stunt. Jane was dangerous and what she did to the innocent baby proved it. Kenny was not perfect but hey who would be after watching their entire family and then Sarita die. I think Kenny held it together pretty well all things considered. Sure he had some anger issues but he absolutely never showed any hint of violence toward the people who had not captured (Carver) or attacked them (Arvo). As for Jane, well it wasn't her smartest move to make Kenny think she had ditched/killed the baby when he was so obviously protective of AJ and Clem. That is why I just had to watch Kenny kill her. She got herself into that mess and even asked me not to interfere. If somebody killed one of my children I would want them dead too, and given Janes past of leaving people behind and not wanting the baby I wouldn't buy her BS excuse that it was an accident. How do you lose the baby? I mean seriously it makes no sense if a walker gets the baby it gets you too unless your a coward and give the walker the baby.
Kenny was right about Jane, and Arvo, and Wellington, and all he wanted was was what was best for AJ and Clem. That is why the group was at odds with him is because all they cared about was themselves. Jane proved it many times. Bonnie and Mike proved it when they were willing to leave and steal all the supplies (including the car Kenny fixed), leaving a 10 year old girl and baby with no food? And leaving Clem shot and bleeding on the ground. Who does that? People who only care about themselves that's who. Kenny had the best interest of Clem and AJ as his agenda and thats why the "rest of the group" was always fighting with him. Replay the game and its so obvious. The only reason Kenny fought with the group is he wanted to get Clem and AJ to Wellington. The group wanted to take truck he fixed south back to Carvers hideout instead. Kenny had the better plan I am glad he didn't back down because in the end he saved Clem and AJ and gave them the chance at a normal life.
Oh and by the way. Arvo deserved worse than that beating from Kenny. I didnt steal from him, yet he blamed us for stealing medicine even though it was Arvo himself who stole medicine from his russian group. And even though i was nice to him after he had attacked and tried to kill us, he still shoots me after i put my gun down? Kenny knew he was trouble and I regret stopping him from beating that idiot to death if he can just shoot a 10 year old girl who was nothing but nice to him. Sure he wanted to escape from Kenny, but thats like saying convicts who want to escape from jail and justice are justified as well. Arvo is a terrible person. He attacked our group and we should have just killed him then and there like Kenny said.
Why can nobody else see that Kenny was the only one who gave a shit about AJ and Clem. That is why telltale rewards players who stick by Kenny through all his hard times with the best ending! He was right Wellington was the best option for AJ and Clem, as evidenced by the hand-down Best ending in the game! Kenny made that ending happen for Clem and AJ but if only if you were smart enough to pick up on the clues that Jane was an unstable, selfish person who was constantly abandoning people. She kinda caused the whole Arvo situation too by the way. Unless you chose to steal from Arvo yourself (I didnt) well then you share the blame for Arvo. If you were smart enough to pick up on those subtle hints that Jane looked out for herself before anybody else, you could make the right decision and get the best ending. Yeah Kenny wasnt the most stable person either but he didn't let his past take away his ability to care about others the way Jane had. And again, despite his temper, Kenny was never violent to people who weren't aggressive towards him or those he loved. Who would you rather have protecting you? Someone who will bail on you if its too risky to save you? Or somebody who would kill or be killed to save you?
Well thats my 2 cents. The fact that we all are even arguing about this shows what a deep story this game had. Good job Telltale. I just wish that there were more decisions that mattered and you could save people or lose people based on your decisions. Kind of like episode 5 they did it a little better with the decision between Jane and Kenny, but its weird that with Luke no matter what you choose he dies. Ok I get that you cant save everyone but it seems like 90% of the decisions in the game are meaningless like that, which made me feel more like I am watching a movie. A really good movie though.

The Baiting intensifies.
One can already see Zykelator sharpening his claws.
Hail Kenny, full of boats, the stache is with thee. Blessed are those amongst urbans and blessed is the fruit of thy loins Duck. Holy Kenny, father of Duck, pray for us shitbirds now in the hour of our bite. Amen.
Amen!
Funny. To be fair though I acknowledged Kenny's faults. I never said hes perfect or godlike, not with that temper.
Nah, I know. I'm the same way when discussing Kenny.
It's just that, like you said, he happened to be right about most of these people.
This obviously depends on how you see it, though. Some people will say that Jane wasn't selfish and that Arvo was just scared. In my opinion, he was spot on 85% of the time.
For the record, Luke was right about Mike, too. And to think most people went off on him when he said that.
I saw the title and said "oh lord, was Zykelator the first here?"
Good person but favors these threads and it ends up bad afterwards, but like I said hes a good guy, I had a nice conversation about our love for Molly"
Yeah, I'm looking forward to him insulting all people who like Kenny again. He's a good guy. Took his time to send me a couple of private messages to explain me why I am stupid, irrational and like murderers.
Hey you know I totally forgot about Luke saying that about not trusting Mike. Nice job spotting that too.
Yeah, it was something about Mike trying too hard to fit in. Kenny also foreshadows this a bit when he sends Clem after Mike and Bonnie.
"We ain't seen Mike and Bonnie in a while. And I'm not saying I don't trust them, but I'd appreciate it if you went and checked up on them."
Kenny foreshadows everything! ALL HAIL KENNY! oh god you got me doing it now
LMAO
+1
But still:
It'll be a slaughter.
You...
You're officially a shitbird!
You're here for my comments, don't lie.
Well to be fair Jane was right about Rebecca not being able to survive after having the baby and moving to the next town (she mentions this ever so conveniently right before Arvo shows up and Clem cuts off her dialogue). In fact Jane knew what she was talking about in just about every scene she was in, the only one controversial is the whole Kenny vs. Jane situation. It's a shame those two could not get along, with Clem they would have been the ultimate zombie apocalypse team.
isn't that obvious ? ...

Where did i mention Kenny fans? I didnt. I was talking about people who are unable to think rationally, and the world is full of people like that.
I dont even have a problem with people who like Kenny, i have problem with those who are unable to think rationally and ruin debates with that.

The only person able to think rationally.
damn son
This Zykelator guy has been here for less than a month and he's already infamous for his overtly belligerent and obdurate nature. Boy, must he be proud!
Things Kenny got wrong:
You have a strange definition for "right about everything."
Generalization is the easy way.
Surely there are people who like Kenny and are ready to kill anyone, just to keep their friendship going. However, if you try to call it rational decision, considering that Jane is other option, you are very irrational. If you are unable to realize the difference between rational and irrational decision, when the priority is your own survival, you shouldnt debate about it and just face the fact that you have no rational reason to pick Kenny.
