  • Thats exactly another reason that I would leave Rodrik behind....R.I.P Rodrik.

plus, there's a big chance that if you leave asher behind, his sellswords aren't gonna listen to rodrik's orders

  • Dude I did the same as you. Thanks holy walkthrough

  • can you please tell me what happened when you leave rodrik? does he have a heroic last stand like asher or?

  • Bolton soldiers take him anyway into the forest and is untouched but then Ramsay has "his fun".

Yes I left the Glenmores at Ironrath... I would like to know how he died if you bring him to. PLEEEEEEASE

  • It was a shame, I guess he did kind of die for Gared.

Can someone link me the walkthrough.

    My choices would probably be-

    Don't Stab Ramsay

    Spare Bloodsong

    Unsure about Tyrion

    Spare Royland

Leave Asher behind (I love Rodrik too much, sorry Ash)

Also, what are the circumstances of leaving the person behind?

  • What about Malcom and Gryff?

Haven't played it but watched the stream. Gonna choose:

    • Try to stab Ramsey.
    • Kill Bloodsong.
    • Won't tell Tyrion.
    • Spare Royland.
    • Leave Rodrik behind.

  • So, when will episode 6 be out?:(

  • according to my calculations, somewhere mid september

  • I noticed a plot hole.Where excactly is this port they are fighting at and why is the fight there?

  • Guys..... I watched the stream on Twitch.... oh my god... I thought Lee's death was devastating.... but this takes it to a whole new level...

Just tell me someone please.... in the final battle of Episode 5, is it possible for the player to kill Gryff?

  • take a guess.... ;-;

I don't know I only watched the stream.... I don't know if the game mechanics disallowed it or if it was dependent on the player's own skills... I don't know.... someone please tell me.... please

  • Actually, usually for every last episode of each series telltale has done, they do the finale a lot quicker. I reckon there will only be a 4-6 week wait for the last one

according to my calculations, somewhere mid september

  • I thinks it determinant - whoever you choose to leave behind - Asher or Rodrik - one of them has to stay behind to allow the other to escape - whoever remains behind dies, fighting a garrison of Whitehill soldiers.... and there's Gryff with his smug face, knowing he's won - its either Rodrik or Asher who dies - whoever gets left behind.

  • Wow, that's like the complete opposite of what I'd choose.

  • I feel so empty inside after watching Episode 5 - whatever happens, House Forrester better remain the main house in Season 2.... I know whose going to die now no matter who you leave behind... the choice will matter but the eventuality of the surviving character from the final choice dying is inevitable.... forget the Starks, forget the Lannisters, all I care about now is this minor third tier House located within the Wolfswood - the game better not deny me the opportunity to kill Gryff.

according to my calculations, somewhere mid september

  • No

  • Of course... wishful thinking on my part... I wonder if he still arrives on horseback if he's severely maimed by Rodrik in the earlier episode...

    No

  • i try to play each character with a distinct personality and have their choices reflect that. Like, I might not think it's good to kill Bloodsong, but Asher (who I characterize as being really violent) would do it.

Don't get why so many people are killing their traitors though...they're more useful alive than dead.

  • Is there any stream or something where you can watch the choice to leave Rodrik?

    I'm a masochist.

  • That would be an interesting choice - not one I'd make though - Asher's determinant death was tragic but I think his sacrifice redeemed him in the eyes of his family - his father would have probably been proud.

Of course since Rodrik could have been left behind (and killed) that means regardless of him surviving Episode 5 or not - he (or Asher) will die and either Talia or Ryon will become the next Forrester Lord.

  • I actually don't know what to do yet when I play; this choice quite literally left me in tears.

But since I watched Asher's sacrifice I'd love to see Rodrik's.

I hope Telltale proves us wrong and treats these determinants well, though.

  • you forgot mira, who is the oldest of the siblings (after rodrik and asher). there's a chance she might become the next lord.

  • you do know how telltale handles their determinant characters? doug, carley, nick.... ;-;

Why do you think that Asher will die?

  • Hmmm... she could... after Rodrik/Asher dies in the final episode, I'm just terrified of the idea of Ryon of all people inheriting it... I would prefer Talia over Ryon but further still I do prefer Mira over Talia if one of them had to become the next Lord, though logically it should be Ryon... after all the Forresters have been through I'd much prefer a mature and experienced member in his place.

  • But, what if Asher and Rodrick turn out to be playing the same role? They can't both die that means that they will probably play the same role just like Doug and Carley did.

I caught a stream earlier where someone rewinded and chose Rodrik, but I don't know if they made it available to view or not

Unfortunately, Rodrik's death is the exact same as Asher's, the only difference being the parting words you have with everyone on the other side of the gate. Otherwise, their last stand plays out the same way.

Although I still think it's more badass with Rodrik, because it's a death-cheating cripple taking down at least 6 armed men whilst tanking multiple stab wounds and an arrow through his fucking chest, which he just rips out all like "Bitch, I don't have time to die from this shit"

  • One of them (Rodrik/Asher) dies in Episode 5 - knowing Telltale if they continue with the story of the Forresters in Season 2, then the next Lord would be either 1).Ryon, 2).Mira 3).Talia - because the surviving brother will have to die in the S1 finale - because either Asher or Rodrik survive Episode 5 - the next Season won't vary in its next characters based on this choice, its obvious now - if you sacrifice Asher, Rodrik will die in the next episode - sacrifice Rodrik (how could you... )then Asher will die in the next episode...

Why do you think that Asher will die?

So literally everything is the same? What about how Beshka is desperate when Asher stays behind? Does Rodrik get nothing? Not from Beshka, I mean, but in general.

    Thank you, by the way.

Your chosen sentinel will try to plead with Rodrik, like how Beskha does with Asher, but Rodrik convinces him to go (in Duncan's case, it sounds like he's about to cry when he agrees to leave), and Asher has to be pulled away from the gate.

  • Good, I was worried Rodrik was getting nothing compared to Asher's emotional scene. My sentinel's Duncan so that's what I'd get. Thank you so much. I'm still heartbroken...
