Didn't try to stab
Showed mercy
Told the truth
Showed mercy again (Royland)
Left Rodrik behind
Then I played it inverse and the traitor changed and scolded me for my decisions anyway. But I was wondering, what happens if you please the one who didn't become your sentinel with your choices? Because in both of my saves (I have one with my OG instincts, and a complete reverse) the traitor was the guy whom I didn't pick for sentinel and never followed his advices. So If I pick Duncan, but do as Royland says, what happens? Will my sentinel betray me, or the other guy turns his cloak anyway?
Or maybe the measter, for never making up my mind?
The other thing that I wonder about is that weather sleeping with the Glenmore girl will mean anything.
Didn't stab Ramsay. I felt this was more of a mocking choice and wasn't going to play into it. Plus, I didn't want to risk traumatizing Talia further.
Spared Bloodsong. Asher seemed to be having some difficulty with him during the match, which means I could use his skills. He can have his "honorable death" fighting for my House.
Told Tyrion the truth. This is Tyrion Lannister. I knew from the door he was onto me, and Lucan wasn't exactly helping being "discreet". Plus, my Mira does genuinely like Tyrion. And it seems my honesty worked since he told me the truth. Though, Cersei might not accept this...
Spared Duncan. I was fully prepared to end him, but then he mentioned Asher getting ambushed... I felt like shit breaking my promise to Talia. If I don't get a chance to execute him or he doesn't die in Ep 6, I'm definitely executing him on a second go.
Left Rodrik behind. Hardest damn choice I made... But I've played Rodrik as both a proud man and a fierce leader, but also a family man. I've shown him many times getting protective over his siblings. (Hugging Talia, striking the guard for disrespecting Ethan's memory, punching Gryff for hurting Talia, reaching out for Ryon, and shielding Talia from Ramsay.) Him coming to Asher's aid when he got shot further demonstrates it for me... There's no way he would let his younger brother sacrifice himself (even if Asher insisted). Plus, from a story perspective, I felt it right that it was time Rodrik's came to a close while Asher still had so much to do. So, while it hurt like hell to even choose, that's how it goes in my story. (I'll still miss the hell out of him, though. ;-; )
Didn't stab Ramsay - Pointless nonetheless, it was just a bit of "I hate this guy, I'm gonna kill him." Please. GoT doesn't work that way anyways.
Killed Bloodstrong - Won their respect, if I had to fight by their rules, I had to fight by their rules. He would have died anyways, and honestly, in this game, YOU are the best fighter, not some NPC. The odds of those people ALL dying in the end, highly likely.
Lied to Tyrion - It feels better knowing that I at least tried to be a sneaky little girl. Regardless, I have names, and Lucan is just a brainless twat anyways. Walking in with wine, fuck, even Oberyn didn't even do that in the show and it felt more real when he walked in and said he will be Tyrion's champion. When Lucan made me walk in with the wine I was screaming "STOP STOP STOP" because it was such a ridiculous plan.
Killed Duncan - I promised, he already told me about Asher, I knew what to expect, regardless of what I did there was nothing I could do to stop the ambush. Same outcome either way. Might as well kill him. Pointless to spare when I already got out the info I needed. I am just surprised the squad awaiting for Asher didn't do a clean sweep of the place, they were huddled in the courtyard. Whatever though.
Left Rodrick - I knew if I left Asher, it would be a waste of everything that it took to get him back home. He's in good shape, rules like Robert did, (attitude wise) and he's got a bit of flare with him. The new episode should be interesting with Asher in charge and half the people he came with.
Wow! What a hard decision at the end hey? I have to say... choosing between Asher and Rodrick may of been the hardest choice I have ever en-counted in a Telltale game, and I found it perfectly shows what Game Of Thrones is all about... However a part from that I found even though this episode was brilliant, it seemed to go much quicker than all the others, and even though each episode leaves you wanting more, for me this one simply didn't quench my thirst when it came to some of the choices... however, what choices did everyone else make? Post them down in the comments below! I'll start with posting my choices and the reasons why first :P
I did not try to stab Ramsay Snow. (He's fucking insane, and it was obviously some kind of fucked up mind game and tbh, I would never have the balls to stab Ramsay Snow unless it was guaranteed he wasn't getting back up again, plus I was with Talia, so if I had it'd of been a bad move.)
I killed Bloodsong. (After the queen of dragons denied me my Second Sons, however in my playthrough I got a shit load of gold, I had to make sure the slaves would fight for me. Bloodsong was a great fighter, but in the pits I had to gain their respect, and from what Beskha said the only way to do that was to kill him, so I went with it.)
I did not tell Tyrion that Cersei sent me. (It didn't take long for him to guess that she had, but due to the guard listening, I knew I couldn't admit it. Cersei is the last half allie that Mira has, and even though my talk with Tyrion fucked up badly, I know Mira will be punished much more if she had of told Tyrion about Cersei.)
I choose to kill the traitor. (For me, the traitor was Ser Royland, and at the end of it a traitor is a traitor and traitors have to die. I promised Talia, and its pretty obvious that Ludd would of continued with his plans whether or not I found them out before hand. So bye bye Royland.)
I choose for Rodrick to stay behind. (This was a horrible decision to have to make.. and even though Rodrick was a good lord, physically.. he can barely fight. Ramsay Snow has already walked all over him, he was outwitted by a traitor and I knew that both Beskha and the slaves would most likely only follow Asher... so in my books Asher was of more use than Rodrick, though I doubt he will know how to be an appropriate lord.. and I feel for Eleana more than ever now... while making the choice she was in the back of my mind, but Asher is a better fighter and much more tactile than Rodrick.)
I didn't try to stab Ramsay (I would be insane to attempt it I thought)
I spared Bloodsong and gave him a helping hand (I couldn't bring myself to kill such a badass)
I told Tyrion the truth (Despite telling myself I would do as Cersei said I couldn't bring myself to lie to Tyrion)
Executed the traitor,Royland in my case (This was something I promised Talia I would do and I done it since I couldn't let a traitor live.Sadly I done it so quick that I never noticed the Asher dialogue they began talking about until my second playthrough.)
Rodrik stayed,Asher left (Big brother instincts forced me to do this)
Let's play a game while we wait for the rest of the peasants to catch up. Post your reaction to executing your traitor!
Pretty sure I went full Ragnar on my monitor.
I made Beshka promise and will get the gelnmore army and i think the sellswords will stay at least the good lot like bloodsong (he will die anyway) and their leader. etc
I didn't stab Ramsay: I knew it was a trap. I knew he wouldn't let me. But, good lord, believe me, I wanted too....
I showed mercy to whats-his-name: Bloodsong? ANYWHO, I wanted an extra ally. Besides, I didn't think killing the guy would benefit whatsoever
I lied to Tyrion: Psh, he knew anyway. I trust no one at King's Landing. NO ONE. I thought that maybe if I lied, Cersei would really come through and get rid of Andros. However, I don't believe it. It's time for me to start trusting Lady Margery again....
I KILLED ROYLAND: I KNEW IT. I KNEW IT. I was just angry how Telltale wouldn't tell us who the hell it was. Stop using pronouns and use NAMES. I didn't particularly like Royland, so I had no problem killing him. And I stabbed him before he told me that he knew of Gryff's plan (oops....)
I left Asher behind: Ugh, this one sucks. I chose Rodrick for Talia... LET ME EXPLAIN. I didn't think Talia would be too comfortable around Asher, and she didn't need anyone else to die. She hardly knows Asher, after all. And Rodrick is the true lord of Ironwrath. He deserved to live (BUT RAMSAY AND GRYFF WILL GET WHAT IS COMING TO THEM. BELIEVE ME)
There is something I don't understand. How did Ramsay capture Arthur? Because Arthur was with me at Highpoint. And after that Royland and other elite guards were with him. How the hell did he capture him???
Thought I posted my choices awhile ago guess not. My Choices: Didn't stab ramsay, Spared Bloodsong, Lied To Tyrion, Executed Ser Royland, And Had Asher stay behind.
Tried to stab Ramsay cause who wouldn't try to murder that lowly piece of trash.
Spared bloodsong, yeah I didn't get their respect but I need all the men I can get and my speech is pretty job well done at inspiration.
Told Tyrion the truth cause already knew that lying twit was sending me to shoot myself in the foot before I became a bigger problem for her.
Stab Duncan right through the heart, you do not betray family! Iron from Ice!!!
Biggest regret I have now is making rodrik stay behind because I told elaena we would be married now after our nights together....like I killed her brother and now her would be husband! I'm a horrible human being !!but all that effort put into getting Asher home...
This is the hardest choice ever at the end, Roderick had just threw the cane away to show he can be at his best again and Asher get shot right through the leg so like wtf man!!!
Oh poor talia!! She doesn't even know Asher and I let him survive she has lost two brothers she holds dear and oh man poor ryon is still gone
House Forrest is the new stark family....
PST! At Highpoint you can mention Robb Stark and when Ludd gets an axe to the head (I died several times just to see it) Rodrik gets shot with arrows yes like the Red Wedding and right before he dies he says "Mother" AH! Crap this is just like the Starks
This is the hardest choice ever at the end, Roderick had just threw the cane away to show he can be at his best again and Asher get shot rig… moreht through the leg so like wtf man!!!

House Forrest is the new stark family....
Tried to stab Ramsay (Hey, he even told me to do it so he can't hold it against me.)
Spared Bloodsong (Too good of a fighter to waste, especially if he's the best one they have.)
Told Tyrion the truth (He already knew anyways, so what was the point in lying?)
Killed Royland the Traitor (He betrayed me and the rest of House Forrester. He deserved it.)
Asher Stayed Behind (I liked Rodrik too much to let him die, plus being the lord of House Forrester he seemed more important than Asher. I believe Rodrik could lead the pit fighters.)
Comments

Showed mercy to Bloodsong

Let Duncan live (I did it for Gared... if he ever returns)
Left Rodrick. sob His story seemed to have reached a more natural end point than Asher's.

Thread: Episode 5 Nest Of Vipers- Choices.

I didn't stab Ramsay, because he has the invisible yet powerful plot armor. He cannot be harmed.
I spared Bloodsong because I wanted him in my army, but kicked him, so I still made an impression on the pit fighters.
I lied to Tyrion but he found out anyways, and the guard still got upset with me.
I spared the traitor (it was Duncan) because I wanted to hear what he had to say about Asher. It still did no good in the end, though.
I made Rodrik stay, because I couldn't keep playing without that glorious Asher grin.
I didn't try to stab Ramsay, kind of pointless.
I killed Bloodsong, can't show weakness to the pit fighters.
I lied to Tyrion, I would testify against him if Cersei would help me out in return, I like Tyrion but we all know what happens anyway
I killed Royland the second I saw the option, what a reckless cunt.
I made Asher stay, i don't know why, I couldn't think straight because it was such a hard decision, but now i regret it.
Exact same. Feels like doggy doody
I didn't try to stab Ramsay.
I showed mercy to Bloodsong.
I told Tyrion that Cersei sent me. (I just can't lie to the little bro)
I imprisoned Royland. (While feeling betrayed as hell.. I seriously liked him a bit more than Duncan ffs!)
I had Rodrik stay behind. (While feeling myself dying on the inside)

I executed Bloodsong.
I didn't tell Tyrion that Cersei sent me.
I executed Duncan Tuttle.
I had Rodrik stay behind.
lol
I made Beshka promise and will get the gelnmore army and i think the sellswords will stay at least the good lot like bloodsong (he will die anyway) and their leader. etc
Didn't try to stab Ramsay... though I really wanted to.
Killed Bloodsong.
Told Tyrion the truth.
Executed Duncan.
Had Asher stay behind.
I was wondering the same thing! Plot hole?
Thought I posted my choices awhile ago guess not. My Choices: Didn't stab ramsay, Spared Bloodsong, Lied To Tyrion, Executed Ser Royland, And Had Asher stay behind.
