Nope. I heard him out because I'm lord, then I sent him to jail where I plan on keeping him as long as I possibly can. Now he can't whine about me being too violent and not being a diplomat. Also, I'll keep him in the dungeons until he'll wish I'd killed him.
Yes, I did... I promised the girl who revealed him as a traitor to kill him or whatever (not sure exactly what I promised) So... I did just … morethat. Duncan got what he deserved, never liked him anyway - a coward, can't have his type when I'm conducting my war plans! :P
I didnt kill him;
a) Because Im hoping they werent the true traitor and were covering for someone (explains their shit excuses)
b) Talia has preferred violence lately and I dont like that.
c) They might redeem themselves
I killed Duncan, he showed no remorse, he acted selfishly and I promised Talia that I was going to. I hopes this doesn't backfires later, he might not be the traitor.
I spared Duncan in my playthrough. He knows about the North Grove and he also mentioned that he kept the secrets that mattered. Plus he is so understandable, also Gared will go wild when he returns to Ironrath with his Uncle is dead.

I killed him as soon as they gave me the option (I didn't even wait around to hear his about his knowledge of Gryff's plans... didn't even KNOW about it until I got here)
I think they are saving the beheading for Ludd Whitehill. My dream last scene is to behead Ludd Whitehill and as his head hits the ground the episode/season cuts to black.
I've got Duncan as a traitor, and i spared him. I really wanted to kill that bastard, but i had to know about Whitehills plans (thought that this decision will have influence in future). Also i didn't want to murder a closest person to Gared, now when he is away seeking for the North Grove.
PS. I promised to Talia that I will kill him as Rodrik, and when i spared Duncan she called me "coward"... Then I died in the bravest way sacrificing for my family and brother... FEELS
What are you talking about killing Royland ??? There was never an option like this. Even if there was, how could you kill Ser Royland ? He is the most loyal man in House Forrester, I don't believe you people...

just the old an good helix...
Does not matter if you kill or not, asher or rodrik will die...
Does not matter who is the traitor asher or rodrik will die...
Does not matter if tyou keep your promise...
in the other hand how the heck Duncan could be the traitor?
This plot is sick....
I didn't kill Duncan, because he had knowledge of the North Grove, & could tell me Ludd's possible plans.
& to those who had Royland as the traitor & killed him straight away, you do realize you lost an asset, right? Yes, yes. I know the cliche response, but he's a Military Genius-- If they do some kind of redemption for the traitor, which I'm really not sure of now anymore, he could help you plan the siege/attack/whatever it will be. Plus, Ludd's plans.
I don't know. I spared both in my playthroughs, because while they did make me incredibly angry & absolutely pissed at the shitty writing for the traitor scene-- They. are. still. useful.
Killing the traitor is ridiculous the Foresters need every man they can get and if you save Asher the traitor can redeem himself and finish those Whitehills they're the real enemy not one traitor.
I understand wanting to keep someone for the sake of numbers, but it's not ridiculous to kill someone for betraying their lord, house, and everyone dwelling inside especially when their reasons are garbage. The traitor became the enemy once he sided with those seeking our destruction and giving them our secrets and messing up our plans. The only way the traitor could have saved/redeemed themselves is if they admitted to their treachery before we confronted them and offer us some useful information.

I think no matter what it should have been Duncan as the traitor it would have been more shocking for everyone especially if he's your Sentinel and it makes sense him being the traitor than Royland, I couldn't imagine Royland hiding in the trees and sending secret messages that's not his style but it's definitely Duncans style. P.S please don't post that GIF of Duncan throwing a axe at Ludd.
Duncan was the traitor in both of my playthroughs (Rodrik and Asher). With Rodrik's playthrough, I spared him. With Asher's playthrough though, I killed him.

I killed Duncan because it was fun seeing him dying.
DAMN RIEGHT
Touche.

Be cool if the player can interrogate the traitor using non-violent or violent methods.
Fuck yeah I killed the bastard.
Killed Duncan.
BTW has anyone promised to kill the traitor and ended up not killing him? How does Talia react?
.
She calls Rodrick a coward before he (possibly) dies later in the episode.
I killed him as soon as they gave me the option (I didn't even wait around to hear his about his knowledge of Gryff's plans... didn't even KNOW about it until I got here)
oh i totally killed Royland that f****** made me so angry i can't not kill him
from the moment i knew there is a traitor i was already mad and planning to kill him no matter who he is or she
'If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention'
If you spared his life he would tell you Ludd's plans which might be useful.
"You're a bigger coward than he is!!"
storms out

I didn't kill Royland. I felt like Asher's life was more important than killing Royland.
What are you talking about killing Royland ??? There was never an option like this. Even if there was, how could you kill Ser Royland ? He is the most loyal man in House Forrester, I don't believe you people...
There was an option to kill or spare the traitor no matter who it was

I didn't kill Duncan because his reasons were good and Gared is my homie so I can't do him like that.

Well, the wisest option would have been to let him live. But still he deserved to die for letting Gryff go and conspiring behind your back.
of course

I killed royland cause of one simple good reason.he knew that whitehills gonna kill Asher but he didn't say a word, what kind of loyalty is that?
I killed Duncan and I fell bad for Gared.
Duncan was the traitor in my playthrough. In hindsight, I would have killed him.
Telltale dropped the ball there. Even if you kill or save him, Rodrik goes to the location where Asher would be anyway.
Duncan was the traitor in both of my playthroughs (Rodrik and Asher). With Rodrik's playthrough, I spared him. With Asher's playthrough though, I killed him.
No but I did give him his daily dose of his Iron wood spanking routine. Who's your Lord(SPANK) Who's you lord(SPANK SPANK)
I killed Royland.. He didn't care whether we lived or died, so why should I?
