I rather play someone else and having Clem as company/side kick.
I like her more now since she is not super kid anymore, but just a real teen making mistakes and behaving annoying, but from deep inside still the sweet little girl we met in Season 1.
I love savage Clem lol.
Lol I like every character. I liked Larry, Ben, Nick, Sarah, Gabe and most others. The only one's I don't like are vernon, that old woman cancer survivor and Becca.
What happened to the way season 1 worked? where Kenny would dislike you the whole game if you sided with Larry, and opposite, characters would actually change their opinion of you, and reflect it in the way they talked, instead of just changing one like 2 episodes later depending on your choice
THANK YOU!! This is exactly what i have been saying constantly! They had one tiny scene in No Going Back when Bonnie can determinantely be nice or horrible to you depending on your choice to help or cover Luke and that was ALL! Since then they have done nothing like that since Season 1. I honestly expected in Season 2 for Kenny and Luke to treat Clem differently based on choices or even Jane in eps 4 and 5. It looked promising at first when it showed the preview for In Harm's Way, the way Kenny seemed like he would scold Clem for giving herself up instead of going outside to help him, remember that briefly? But alas nothing changed, every character still treated you the same way. As for this shithole season/game, nothing at all and i definitely don't see them doing anything differently. They should have had Clem be bitter towards Javier if you sided with Conrad. She looked pretty pissed off in the last episode but nope, not even a fucking mention of it. Javier can still hug Clem like they were best friends. They could have had Clem not help Javier kill the walkers with the baseball bat and instead have Conrad help him. That would have at least been a decent thing they could have done.
It's just ridiculous and goes to show how poorly Telltale have gone since 2012 in my opinion
I would like her alot more if Telltale wasnt forcing her down my throat, as well as having her create conflict where there really should be … morenone
If she would just take a hint, and stop flirting with Javier when I have refused all her advances, then maybe I would like her.

My Javi didn't always agree with Clem.
Maybe it will be quicker this time if they make a new season, because part of the reason ANF took a long time was because of the new engine, and they had to figure out what to do with the S2 endings.
It's already confirmed Season 3.
But perhaps they are working on 'A New Frontier 2'!
And I demand them not let us wait 2 years again l… moreol.
But releasing in september...
It's obvious Javi is gonna be the Rick of Telltale with side kick Clementine.
Well I hope so.
That's how I kinda feel about Clem too. Its the same way I feel about my niece, who was just a super awesome kid that was always fun to be around. Then puberty hit, she started dressing like a pirate wench, doesn't have a good thing to say to anyone, and parties way too much. But every once in a while that super awesome kid pokes her head out and reminds you who she really is.

It's kinda cute.
I have a 13-year old sister and sometimes annoying as hell but from the inside sweet.
I am happy Clem is a realistic teen, especially in the zomby apocalypse where she had to deal with very tough situations to survive and the lost of all she loved. Kinda delusional to expect the same innocent 8-year old girl from Season 1.
The fact Clem accept everything from Javi is because she is very lonely and she recognise something similar to Lee, Kenny, Christa and Luke. A potential family, with Javi as some care taker/big brother.

You know what, considering the note Above the Law can end on, I wouldn'tve been surprised if that summed up people's overreaction to anything that happened involving them
I kind of agree with that. Moving from Clementine to someone else, and then moving back to her as a full playable character would be kind of strange. "Why couldn't I play as her earlier in her story?" I would ask myself...
I just think that this season is Telltale's way of removing Clem. She'll probably survive this season, but might part ways with Javi at the end, and her fate will be as obscure and in-the-air as Lily's was in Season 1. Clem isn't being used to her full potential, She is a super-side character that doesn't have much of an effect on the story, so that "Newcomers" who join wouldn't really care so much if she isn't there in the next season. As heartbreaking as it is, the newcomers don't have the same relationship with Clem as we fans do, so Telltale is just making their job easier for future seasons for the new ones by keeping her on the down-low. That's just my take on it....

I am ok if she disappears from Telltale games and start joining Rick's group in the comics.
She has lot of character development to continue in the comics.
But I got the feeling the Telltale future has a community with sole survivors Javier, Gabe and Clem, like Rick, Carl and Michonne are in the comics.

Vernon stole the boat, that old woman got very angry and territorial when it came to killing that guy, even though he would come back and kill Boyd, we didn't know that then and Becca is on a non stop period and hates everything.
Fair enough. I don't hate them or any character really although Larry is borderline but i'd bring him back any day rather than the junk new characters we currently have!
I look at both sides of the characters you mentioned though, it was a shitty thing Vernon did stealing the boat but at the same time i totally get why he did. He was looking out for his group, they'd been underground for so long and saw this opportunity and i can even sympathise in some way. The old woman Joyce, i just saw her as someone who was very scared with the unknown guy who could have been a threat and i agreed with her that the guy couldn't be set free and him killing Boyd was proof of that. As for Becca, I don't blame you one bit. She was annoying from start to finish, however, i just see her as s bratty teenager with no manners. I don't hate her but i don't give a damn either. We won't see any of these characters again.

"I'm having so much fun! I hope you're all enjoying this season."
Remember when the S1 cast cried when they got the finale script and had to perform it?
Good times...

"Ep1 was so big it had to be split into two"
"No character will take the backseat"
"Clementine is playable and a main character"
"42 Clementines!"
Yep, always take everything they say about the game with a grain of salt.
The one character I sincerely hope dies this season...
I've had more than enough Clementine at this point and her continuous inclusion is only hampering the progress of anything else that this season could have done differently from season 2's God-awful latter portion.
Please just let Clem and her nothing-personality die.

Sounds like you'd enjoy the Dead Island games/Dead Light, they're loaded with your typical zombie apocalypse dudebros and one liners. You should check'em sometime!
Maybe he meant it's obvious they're trying to make him Rick. Probably wasn't a good idea to go with Rick in the first episode of the show, then skip to season 6 or whatever leader Rick in the first 5 minutes. Kinda missing a lot in the middle there that made us give a shit about him lol
I don't understand that misconstrued notion that Clementine is the quintessential piece of Telltale's TWD series.
Isn't the whole gimmick of TWD about the mortality of life and how nihilistic and disparaging it is to try and survive in a world full of ravenous sickos and flesh eating corpses (really an interesting and worth-while investment of subject matter in a series by the way that acts more like a B-rate slasher flick rather than an effectively well-structured poignant series of characters' point of views)?
Clementine at this point is just a perpetual cosmic punching bag for the writers to exercise their shitty writing habits on and her inclusion is only working to make the game's many flaws come out all the more when she constantly pops out of thin air with a sassy flourish of disapproval and then only remarks on how she's lost yet another piece of her because of some superfluous flashback sequences with completely loaded "choices" that only makes her the target of more pain and suffering before eventually fucking off.
What's more tragic is people will see my opinions and take them as me being a biased asshole when I originally named myself for my adoration of Clementine's character and even bought a replica hat because I once found her to be such an interesting and genuinely well-structured character.
However, I'm also someone with refined tastes and I know when a character is only being used to lean on as a way to sell more copies rather than Telltale taking a chance on the Garcia family full-stop. Clem is now only a business model to be used and abused to draw in the less-than-insightful crowd of people who think a girl holding a shotgun and cursing with a constant scowl of disapproval makes a character "cool" or "interesting."
She really does just need to exit the series at this point, from causing further harm towards herself or anyone else Telltale may happen to write in next.

As long not playing Clem I will be fine.
I don't need to play super kid again like Season 2.
Yeah,it was a little bit weird that 10 years old girl was deciding about fate of many people, but Clem is Clem. You gotta like her

That means staff is uploading updates on the game. Essentially adding new content/fixing things.
Wow, I thought I was the only one like this

Ready for this in episode 4.

I hope there isn't a Javier and kate sex scene. It would probably a Jane and Luke situation again
Except it would actually make sense and not come right the fuck outta nowhere.
Yea, apparently he's going to be the Negan too. Maybe they'll also give him an eye patch before the seasons done, just to cover all their bases smh
And after that episode releases, "Keeping it in the Family-Military Vet Cucks Out Wife" will be a trending video on Pornhub.
Vernon stole the boat, that old woman got very angry and territorial when it came to killing that guy, even though he would come back and kill Boyd, we didn't know that then and Becca is on a non stop period and hates everything.

Lol this episode is going to suck even more if it gets released this month. Think of how rushed it will be!
Yep! Explains a lot doesn't it when you look at how it is with today's cast
The sex scene in batman was cringy as hell imagine a Kate/javi Clem/gabe in ep 4 I'll puke my insides out ._.
Well batman had monthly releases and that game turned out well.
Ive not played Batman and do not plan to do so. I have seen gameplay on youtube and not that impressed really. It doesn't come close to TWD Season 1.
I think myself and many others will have to disagree with you there.
It still infuriates me to think about how much bullshit was shoved down our throats leading up to the premiere. Good riddance, Bruner.
Uh if there is a Clem/Gabe sex scene I will be selling pitchforks and torches to the angry mob descending upon the Telltale HQ
Not to mention that Clementine probably won't be catching them in the act again...hopefully.
I wouldn't go into a batman game with the mindset of a the walking dead.
We'll see.

Sounds shockingly similar to Kenny in Season 2.
