Telltale barley ever does that they did it one time with Minecraft Season 1 episode 5 and twd Micchone Episode 2 buy a lot of people didn’t like that and they know some people would ignore one or the other game.

It's probably going to be released on August 15th or August 29th; the other weeks in August are occupied by other Telltale episode releases for Batman and Guardians of the Galaxy.
I would personally bet on August 15th since it is the closer of the two dates and the Episode has already been rated (indicating the episode is closer than later).

I can confirm that there is activity for Episode 2 on the Steam Database.
Also in the database, there is a branch named "reuben" that is password-protected. The description for the branch is simply "dead pig".
Probably this episode will have a flashback
