Somebody who wanted to spare themselves some work probably.
The fact that they look the exact same way unarguably means that Ten was born during the apocalypse. There’s no getting around that.
By the way in ANF Clementine had determinant scars (missing a finger, gash on the eyebrow, scratch on the cheek, tattoo on the hand). I could not find any of these on Clementine in the teaser trailer, so is ANF THAT much not canon?
Now that I've thought about in all of this how in the world will the final season be able to blow us away? The new over-shoulder camera? It's kind of cool but nothing mindblowing. The story? Doesn't look that interesting to me so far. The characters? Maybe but that's a big maybe. I'm just really concerned here. All we have are two familiar characters and one is going to have his first legitimate dialogue in this season. I can understand ignoring ANF but why would you avoid having a returning cast at all?
And I know Telltale has alleged they'll have returning characters but I don't think I believe that at all. And who would it be? Christa or Lilly? That's about all it can be.

The apocalypse has only been around for 8 years. If "TENN" is older than 8(Look at 8 year old Clem compared to him), then he couldn't have been born into it.

I’m not surprised someone would drag race into this conversation. No, is not racist, and it has nothing to do with race. I said this at a time when I believed both kids shared the same model because at first glance it looks very similar; later that day, I took a closer look and realized they were different, and I said that I’d been mistaken.

Has there been any info regarding the season pass discs? I'm getting a gut feeling that they're going to stop doing them in this "new era of Telltale". I know they had a lot of detractors, but as someone who both loves physical media and wants to play these games on time with everybody else, they were a happy medium. I guess it's something we'll find out closer to the date but I feel that they've announced the season pass discs around the same time that release dates have been announced.
And his many letterhacks.
And the many times he never said the games aren't canon.
And the fact that Clementine's story is canon and ANF is a continuation of her story.
After seeing the Ign interview and having Melissa use her S1 voice again, it gives me revitalized hope that we see the Sandra flashback that was planned for the last season. ;_;
This is a really weird thing to want but I want at least a scene or two of Clem being reminiscent or sad/doubtful of the past.
She’s been through a LOT! And it would obviously take a toll on someone, especially someone young like her.
Take Kenny for example. No, I’m not saying I want her to go crazy like he did, but he did have a moment when he doubted himself and kind of broke? Idk It seems like Clem has been super “strong and tough, nothing effects me!” And no actual emotion. Other than season 2 ending and, ya know, Kenny/ Jane dying in season 3. (Feel free to roast me on this lmao idc I know its stupid)

I get what you mean. I thought season 2 did this plenty of times but with ANF it was pretty vacant since Clem's priorities and the general way she was written restricted her from showing any other emotions other than 'FIND AJ!' I'm personally hoping we got more reflection on season one and two in The Final Season. Clem has a lot of pent up survivors guilt she's been bottling up for years and we've yet to see it reach it's boiling point.

It's not weird at all. I was hoping for something like this around the time of "Amid The Ruins." I was definitely expecting this during ANF. Maybe we'll get it during TFS. It looks like she'll have a moment where she and AJ are safe and stable environment where she can actually let the past 8 years soak in. As they were saying during E3, Clem will be at her wits' end when she runs into the school. The whole small-group-stay-away-from-cities mentality isn't working long term and providing a challenge. It would be interesting if TTG gave us opportunities to play a weary Clem that is ready to give up. That might help fill the void left by my unrealized fan-fiction stories in my head.

No comments at all since the last time I checked? I know there's nothing new but I didn't expect this for the final season. Also I think they have to make the ending felt like they did with season one, and you know what I'm talking about so as much as I like her sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do shrug Clem fanboys/girls don't come at me! Telltale pull the trigger

Yeah, it's real sad comparing this to what these threads used to be. Even when there were no news, the ANF waiting thread was always bombing. You can't deny that the third installment really did a number on the forum community.

I don't care what happened in the last season, specially when ANF didn't add anything and we are again alone with AJ like in S2 (yeah we had Kenny or Jane too but we all knew they were as good as dead). The only negative thing for me right now is only four episodes. I'm not gonna judge now but right now it just looks like their plot isn't capable of maintaining 5 long episodes with great quality like season one did. The episodes will surely be longer than ANF, I cant even imagine 4 episodes of just 90 minutes.

I'm kind of scared, I would hate if all this un-scripted combat becomes something that creates problems for Telltale, I would really love the mechanics to be the exact same as the other games, I just want a great story, with a lot of references and mentions to past characters and things that makes all of the fans remember how we practically grew up with Clementine and how this story is coming to an end.

WTF WITH THAT HUGE SCAR IN AJ FACE!? AND WHERE IS HIS AFRO!?
That's Tenn
Who?
No that’s the other kid, the one with the exact same model.
A new character lol
Who had the great idea of making two kids look exactly the same?
Somebody who wanted to spare themselves some work probably.
The fact that they look the exact same way unarguably means that Ten was born during the apocalypse. There’s no getting around that.
That means all the kids born during the apocalypse will be as ugly as AJ? damn Javi don't impregnante Kate!
I think the gameplay shows Clementine is missing a finger.

It could be Christa and Lilly, and end the mistery.
Please stop calling them the Garcia’s.
That's not possible. Tenn is too old.
They really don't but like....
Are you being racist?
...
I could do something with this comment...
...Why?
Would Dominguez's be better?
Perhaps it's causing some to feel triggered. [Not me]

Because it’s Garcias.
I know, I just couldn't resist the joke.

I can’t tell when you're joking, being ironic and being serious TBH.

Really don't know how I feel about season 4 being the final season
. Ya'll think there'll be more TWD stories by telltale in the future?
