Pretty cool to see that we are finally going back to monthly releases again! Here's to waiting for March!
Soon
There's 5 Tuesdays for them to go wild.
SO DAMN EXCITED
Anyone think that might have been wellington in the preview possibly????
Eh, didn't really see any similarities. Plus this in the Chesapeake Bay, about 400 miles from Wellington.
I am curious to see what the place is though. I have a place in mind from the comics.
I only thought so because of there being a woman with a gun and the wall tbh, not great reasons..
Also I have to say it: I told you that the woman in the boat wasn't Cissy Jones' character! I told you so! :P
Do you want to know my predication? It might be a bit spoily of the comics, but it's not really major.
You were so right there. Gabby (I think that was her name?) did not sound like Cissy Jones at all. Once I heard about Norma and saw the view from her shoulder, I realized the error of my ways.
I've read the comics so go for it!
I think it was Gabby, but there were a couple of female names thrown around so not certain, the model-replacers will be able to tell us that in some time!
Haha repent!! :P
I think it might be Oceanside. Although it might be just convenient if it was, I feel like that's something Kirkman would allow Telltale to show, and with Pete being associated with that place him knowing where it would be might make sense. Maybe it's just a random place, but that be kind of random.
Oh yeah that does make sense especially since he specialises in trade. Also didn't Michonne say she'd worked on fishing boats in oceanside or something when she was away from Alexandria?
Yeah, from what I gathered in the comics Pete and his group traded mostly from Oceanside. It would make sense with Siddiq discovering it then perhaps.
From the TWD wiki Oceanside page:

Ah cool!
Also the wiki confirms that Gabby is the woman who caught us

I'm guessing we'll get episode 2 the 22nd. I wanted to be ballsy and say the 15th, but I doubt we'll get it that quickly.
I'm not entirely sure about this, but towards the end of the intro sequence, there's a shot of a house, or mansion, or something like that. It's the one with the comic background of a beaten Michonne. I am pretty sure that's the same house we end up going to in the episode 2 preview.
I think we can rule out March 1st... :P
Alternatively, going off my own speculation, that place might not even be a community. I'm thinking it's just a few people that shacked up in an abandoned house or something. In the preview, that big gate has "All Dead" written on it, which would make it seem like whoever is there isn't too keen on advertising the place.
Yeah, Gabby is played by Krizia Bajos (who kicks butt).

Considering that Episode 1 was released in the last Tuesday of February, I am assuming
Episode 2 - March 29th
Episode 3 - April 26th
End of march at the earliest. i really hope they just plan a reasonable schedule. Its annoying if they do another Game of thrones or Minecraft and just have the last episode take so long it loses much of the impact
Me today:
Me in a week:
Waiting close to 2 years to play an episode of the Walking Dead pretty much killed the excitement out of me. I'm pretty patient now as a result of it.
Look on the bright side, it won't be nearly as bad as waiting for Tales From the Borderlands.
Did you not hear about the monthly schedule? Episode 2 is 100% coming out in March (The end at the latest) and Episode 3 will be finishing the series in April.
That was horrible, and I wasn't even in the fandom at the time.
I was, and it was fucking brutal waiting for Episodes 2 and 3. It worked out in the end, because the episodes (and the series) ended up being amazing, but still, it was difficult.
I was spared most of it. I joined the fandom literally the day episode 3 came out, not even realizing that that was the day it came out. It just popped up on Steam, and I was like, "Hey Dad, you mind if I buy this game on your Steam?" at almost midnight, and he went, "Kay, cool."
That's the plan but things happen
Oh my god Episode 2...Dat cliffhanger ending....And Telltale was so cruel to made us wait three months that felt like a cold and dry hell.
So it begins...
I like pete, hope we get more of him. After the Ferry he hardly did anything.
When EP2 arrives.
But the key art's in the game ;-;.
Just like it was originally supposed to premiere in December right?!
Actually, I don't really think so, since the fishing run that Pete, Michonne, Oak, Siddiq and Berto were in was precisely for the Oceanside community. Alternatively, that could be Oceanside, but Michonne and Pete would definitely have to know a lot of people there, or even meet up with the rest of the crew again.
You were so right! I really was expecting her to be the character voiced by Cissy Jones, and it threw me off when she said "Stay put. Randall!".
Yeah, right before they delayed it while explicitly saying part of the reason was to allow for a tighter schedule.
Telltale delayed the first episode while explicitly citing part of the reason was to allow for a tighter schedule. They only give estimations of release dates when they are certain they will hit that timeframe, which is why they were previously stingy with giving release date information unless it was super close to the episode release.
Telltale has had years' worth of experience releasing episodes on a genuinely monthly schedule prior to Walking Dead, so it's not unheard of.
It is, but we'd have to have the game menu options show up as well.
I don't think it's Oceanside. First off, I think that Sam will want to search for her family, it has been heavily implied, and I think her family is definitley not that far away.
Plus, Oceanside is between Miami and Alexandria somewhere, on the east coast. I seriously doubt that the Monroe people will chase them that far. Would waste way more resources than they'd earn in that.
And one last thing, the building in the Episode slide and the preview looks more like an abandoned mansion than a survivor colony.
You're right and they also said that it would lead to a bigger and better series , did they not? Well look, 90 minutes is pretty short especially considering that it's a mini series with only 3 episodes. I know why it was delayed. But the first episode didn't really live up to my expectations probably because of the delay.
Just saying that it's entirely possible that it gets delayed again, although you're right I highly doubt it will be. I think to erase any doubts they should have put in the episode slide "Episode 2 Coming March", "Episode 3 Coming April", instead of "coming soon"
They said that it was delayed so it would release on a tighter schedule.
