Like I said I know why it was delayed. But just because they say something doesn't mean it's a hundred percent. They said it was going to be DLC. They said it was going to be released in fall 2015. They said we'd be playing more walking dead then we think in 2015. They can say all they want. Until there is a classification for Episode 2 (has to come in the next three weeks) or a firm release date announced it doesn't really matter what they promise because they've broken them before.
All those examples you gave had very vague release windows (year, season). Telltale actually gave out an exact month for not only episode 2 but the finale as well. They wouldn't have said anything if they were not sure it be out in those said months.

They only give dates when they are sure they can meet them, as I believe Puzzlebox explained before. The delay from December was not a case of a deadline they were unable to meet; they made the conscious choice to hold back the game so they could release all three episodes closer together, even if they could have released the game in December if they wanted to.
Consciously choosing to delay a game (as opposed to having a delay happen outside of their control, which is not the case here) does not indicate an inability of Telltale to follow through with their word.
Just as they consciously made the choice to delay the game, they could do so again, but this time - there would be no benefit for them to delay the episode unlike last time, where their benefit was to release episodes closer together. It just seems a bit aimlessly pessimistic to assume that Telltale will arbitrarily delay the game further when the whole reason for the first delay was to prevent us waiting a long time for future episodes (as well as some more polishing for Episode 1).
I'm thinking a March 22nd or March 29th release is looking likely in my personal opinion, but saying March 29th "at the absolute earliest" seems excessive. As I said in another post above; Telltale has had years' worth of experience releasing episodes on a genuinely monthly schedule prior to Walking Dead, so it's not unheard of.

i really hope they just plan a reasonable schedule.
They already have. There was a previous interview back in December where Telltale said they would continue looking into a more consistent schedule for future series outside of Minecraft, and since they already delayed Michonne Ep 1 so they could release future episodes closer together, there is no benefit in Telltale holding back future episodes further. Puzzlebox previously said they only give dates when they are sure they can meet them, which is why they were previously stingy with release date info.
Telltale's delay in December was a conscious choice; it wasn't a case of a deadline they could not meet.
End of march at the earliest. i really hope they just plan a reasonable schedule. Its annoying if they do another Game of thrones or Minecraft and just have the last episode take so long it loses much of the impact
Nope. I can actually do something like this: I can add the text too, I need help from Dfh15.
EDIT: Tada. This is actually from game files, if you edit the script, you can get only the menu slide, without any setting. How? I've learned from Boatmaster

I never said monthly releases were unheard of. In fact I would argue that we were pretty much getting them for a while there. March 2015-August 2015 we got an episode every month although they it was alternating between GoT and Tales. So I don't see this monthly Michonne release as a huge plus when the only other thing they have to release atm is Minecraft finale. The best thing would have been to actually make it all into a super month and released all three in February or March. They make us buy the whole thing regardless.
I know they have Game of Thrones Season Two, The Walking Dead Season Three, Batman, Supershow, marvel, etc all planned for 2016 and 2017. But I mean it doesn't seem like were going to get Batman until Minecraft concludes (sometime in march im assuming).
In my opinion the best course of actions for Telltale with the current schedule of Michonne is by releasing it throughout the run of last half of Season 6 which they are doing right now. The best possible time to release the first episode of the Batman game would be around the same time as Batman V Superman premieres in theatres as Batman will be popular as hell during those first few weeks. And of course the best possible time to reveal/release the first episode of Game of Thrones Season Two would be during Season 6 of the show. So I mean in a way I am optimistic about what Telltale has planned and pessimistic about their Michonne schedule as I just wish they would have released it all in one month. The best month would have been march considering there is five Tuesdays and they could have had a week in between each one.

So for the first time ever I've rewound my original save file, its only because one of the main chocies isnt what I intended because I couldnt read the options in time. I doubt it will matter much anyway and I dont like doing it but I'd rather the save have my real first choices rather than a error

I wonder if we'll get a cameo from a character from the previous Walking Dead Games? Much like how we briefly saw Kenny and Duck and Doug/Carley in 400 Days.
If so, what would you all like to see?

Kevin Bruner (Telltale's CEO) tweeted this, which seems to affirm quick episodes are sticking around for the future (with the odd exception of Minecraft Episode 5).
I don't know, the ending didn't really do anything for me. I don't feel like it would be the end of the world if it didn't come soon, unlike say "Faith".

* Tweet from Kevin: Looks like “Michonne” is off to a fantastic start! Episodes are coming out faster than ever get in on the fun now!
We've got a month to figure out what to do! Breaking free, um, one chopped human at a time? And I have a feeling we're gonna have to sit through a whole speech from Randall, whether he's dying or not.
Cool idea. Whether Michonne comes across Clementine or someone else. I'd be nice way of showing how the previous games and this mini-series are connected
Do you guys think they are foreshadowing a Clem apperence with that can of food that looks like her? (Like Alvin said), just like how in season 2 episode 1, Clem has a drawing of Kenny.

I predict Michonne will see her dead offsprings in that young girl with tits and will protect her but in the end she'll find out chick's racist and does not deserve saving.

Thread: NO SPOILER
When out new chapter?
The next episode is due to release at some point in March.
Ok thank you
Let's see if Telltale really learned on their mistakes and will care about determinant characters like in TFTB or GoT.
I'm very hyped!

Episode 2 in March?!? I was expecting another 2 or 3 months, the delay was worth it!

Episode 3 comes in April
If Episode 1 had come out in December, we would probably have waited until now for Episode 2 anyway, so I think it was a good decision aswell.
We had in May 2016 Episode 3 if it wasn't like this.
Neat! I'll add that now! Can you do one for Episode 3 too?
You are a badass.
You saved the day, @ClementineTheGirl!

Anyone else think Randall will be killable next ep?
Tomorrow morning, it's 12 am for me, I'm tired.
Good job

We should come across a dead Vernon on a boat, as some users have said.

I see what people mean about Sam looking like Max from Life is Strange.

I liked the first episode, but it was way to short hopefully the second episode and the third will be much longer.
I don't know, the ending didn't really do anything for me. I don't feel like it would be the end of the world if it didn't come soon, unlike say "Faith".
2 weeks confirmed? xD They said ep2 of mc sm it will be out in 21 st Nov. it was out on 27th Oct.
You can take my doubts is true that will launch in about two weeks the five episode ??????
Well, that puts me in a more happy mood. Definitely wasn't looking forward to waiting for months for another short episode. This I can live with.

If you do the key art for Episode 3, post it here so we can eventually use it for the Episode 3 thread.
It got bugged up for me, and it removed the settings and "Episode Three" that's all I have, I'm gonna ask someone to fix it.
Do you guys think they are foreshadowing a Clem apperence with that can of food that looks like her? (Like Alvin said), just like how in season 2 episode 1, Clem has a drawing of Kenny.
I think it's just them reusing assets across different games, kinda like how some of the animations are also the same in a few areas.
The songs also.
As Blind said, they are likely just reusing assets. For example one of the bodies on the Mobjack is a clear model of Pete from Season 2.
EDIT: If we're talking about peach can, that's probably intended.
I predict Michonne will see her dead offsprings in that young girl with tits and will protect her but in the end she'll find out chick's racist and does not deserve saving.
